No shame in losing to the best. Ggs and congrats to Heute on becoming an extremely deserved Randbats World Champ.

I still wanted to thank the people who rooted for me though, even against all odds. This was a highly enjoyable randbats year for me, not only because I made my first indiv finals on Smogon, but also because of the supportive faces and dedicated players I've had the privilege to captain this year, Team Metagross in RBEL and Team Oceania in WCOR, who came 1st and 2nd in their respective tours. You guys are great and I know our trajectories will keep on rising. I also wanted to thank my friends in YP who've given Random Battles a real sense of community to me.

As for what's next, I've gotten a taste of grand finals now, so you can expect me to do everything in my power to take another shot at the throne next year. In the meantime though, I eagerly await seeing you all in RBTT very soon...
 
So yea, I don't know where to start. Random Battles always had a special place in my heart. I started playing 10 years ago just for fun and since then acquired a total of 50k Random Battles (what the frick!?). Now I'm standing here as the winner of Rands Slam IV. This win means a lot to me cause I came short the last 3 years (finishing in T8 at least in all 3 years). I also really appreciate what the Rands community taught me and overall it feels so great to be part of this community. It is my first Rands major win and now the next goal is RBTT. I don't know which format I'll play but count me in and see you there! Cheers
