was most likely over from the draft, when he got rhydon, golem, and zapdos, leaving me with only sandslash as a zappy counter, who was killed early when i forgot that cloyster is fast =/

I first picked Rhydon and second pick was Golem and Zapdos, he was forced to take Sandslash to stop Zapdos sweeping him :] I also had 3 Twavers + 2 Body Slammers + Clamp Cloyster as backup.

Can't you just pick graveler? Or is that against the "no 2 pokemon of the same species"? So I guess my question is, are pokemon of the same evolution line the same species? Cuz I mean if something "evolves" from something else isn't it a different species then??? =[

Peter Pan's team: Tauros, Alakazam, Cloyster, Gengar, Jynx, Zapdos
My team: Exeggutor, Chansey, Starmie, Snorlax, Rhydon, Lapras

I won 2-0. It was a lucky early wake-up by Lapras that won me the match, I think. Good game, otherwise. Glad to know I still remember how to RBY. <_<.
 
I won 5-0 or something like that. These were the picks in order:

Sakura: 1st Rhydon, 2nd Golem and Zapdos, 3rd Tauros and Jynx, 4rth Alakazam
Me: 1st Eggy and Chansey, 2nd Gengar and GRAVELER!!!!!, 3rd Cloyster and Persian
 
i won an extremely tense match. my alakazam fp'd forever, but i pulled through for a 1-0 win. it was so intense it may just appear in the rby forum as a warstory!

Me and Mekkah drafted with some rather unusual teams D= It will be interesting to see ho wit plays out.
 
Beat Mekkah in an intense and haxy game 2-0. Pin missle missed, then sleep powder missed !!! My heart was beating.

Our teams if anyone is interested (we agreed you use cool pokemon although he was more committed to that than I by the looks of the teams)

Jackal: Eggy, Starmie, Hypno, Cloyster, Dodrio, Nidoking
Mekkah: Tauros, Lapras, Sandslash, Clefable, Jolteon, Kangaskahn
