that's a three week lifespan max
My new Rogue is off to the a promising start; managed to get a Mithril Dagger in the first 5 minutes of play. Once I get him to 20, I can get some fame and try out the Assasin!
Holy crap the dungeon bosses are such epic trolls. 4 UDLs and 2 straight sprite worlds without a drop. :(
Drops:I think that Realm of the Mad God [PokémonRant] works like Pokémon in that depending on your TID and SID you may or may not be able to find shiny Pokémon, and I've clocked probably 750+ Pokéhours (generation 2+) and never seen a single wild shiny, (or shiny owned by a NPC,) [/PokémonRant] because I've done like 7 new Undead Lairs without a single drop. However I did troll the hell out of a group of scrubs in the Abyss of Demons. It was like 10 inexperienced level 20s, I was doing nothing but spamming the mystic's ability until the boss showed up, then I hung back and attacked from afar until it died, then I sprinted out and got 2 vit pots. That one really doesn't count though
The higher-level equips are much harder to get...very difficult. There is a huge gap between being a regular player and an expert. You definitely want to use pots, as they help a great deal.
Make sure you tell us your username, so we smogoners can help you ingame! Johann is Johann, Tennisace is tennis, Reyscarface is Rey, and Ake is Ake. Mack the knife is Mack, masterful is...(?) Zacchaeus is Zack, and Mailman is mailman.
No, I get that they're much, much harder to get. It's just that, the difference between a Dragonscale and an Abyssal is only three points of Def. I imagine that the difference between weapons is a bit more pronounced -- the tier 10 dagger that someone gave me on IRC is much better than the Mithril and even Fire ones that I usually use, though I'm too afraid to move it from my mule -- but even then, is the difference that huge? I'm just wondering what percent is my bad play and what percent is my midtier equipment.
I've been playing under random characters named Satie and a necromancer Gareth that I was told to save my potions for.
