effusions and tinctures give stat boosts to a group of people for a few time. tinctures cost fame and effusions cost gold, tinctures give +15 to the stat the tincture is of and effusions give +30.

This is practically the essence of this game, except only like 1/4 of the current community will include the "Have a nice day." the other 7/4 are dicks.

Really, the game is boring if you are cautious, you only get good by getting into dangerous scenarios, and you can only get good drops if you risk your account. So basically you're supposed to die and of course you get pissed off at dying so that leads us to one conclusion...

RotMG is intended to piss people off, but it does have bright moments

Rolled a 680 HP/197 MP Paladin. I know it's pretty mediocre, but I'm sick of rerolling, so I guess I'll stick with it. The only good item I have is Ravenheart right now though.

EDIT: And after a few more hours of grinding, I got Dragonscale and Seal of Divine. Then I port onto some people because I think they're near Red Demon...only to instadie as I'm surrounded by multiple Medusas and Termite Mound God Thingies.

About how much would I have to trade for a Z-seal? Its probably one of first items I would want to get after getting a decent roll, seeing as sky and ex rings probably aren't as useful as an upgrade. Things that I currently have that might we worth trading:

Bunch of attack pots
Bunch of def pots (would want to keep these though)
Bunch of para rings
Bunch of planewalkers
2X Hippo
Moon Wizard
Fey Bow
Abyssal Armor (would rather keep this too)
9 Speed
2 Dex
5 Wis
3 Vit

What would I have to try and get to trade for a Z seal? Probably getting ahead of myself here, but always good to plan.

You have too many 2nd highest tiers, top tiers like Z seals usually just go for other top tiers, or a bunch of pots and considering that Dex pots are the most valuable and Atk are the least, you might want to get some more

Due to the drop changes in the new build vit is actually the most valuable now.

I got my zseal for the equivalent of 9 vit pots.

the dude i traded with did 2:1 speed:def, and 3:1 def:vit, so I gave him 6 speed (4 vit), 6 def (2 vit), and 3 vit for a total of 9 vit.

So with your speed, trade 6 for the equivalent of 4 vit, trade your 3 vit, and try to either give 6 def like i did or get more speed. maybe even trade that wis on 3:2 wis:vit so you get enough with that

that is, if you find someone trading zseal for vit currency.

On a more positive note, I spent the last twenty five minutes or so on a crappy level 20 paladin to just mess around. Managed to get a Fey bow from Oryx and run two Sprite worlds, getting a dex each time, and a random def pot in god realm.

Does anyone know how the new fame converts to ranking? I would love to know how far I'm off gold :P

This game is still pissing me off. I tried maxing a paladin and every single time I get killed by some crazy shit. Last time was me teleporting to some level 20s, and when I got there my game lagged out because there were too many gods. Yeah so I saw how many gods there were and I just knew I was fucked so I started counting and I got to 15 or so before my game came to and I died
