With that done, we will return to the submission phase once again! alephgalactus, I removed Dynamax Cannon from Behemoth (Kantonian Snom line) since it's the signature move of Eternatus, a Legendary. The reason Shadow Force was an exception is that it is reserved to the Distorted World variants, as they evolved with Griseous Orb or adapted to the Distorted World. I fail to see how Behemoth could legitimately have Dynamax Cannon aside of the massive size, as Kanto is not a place where Dynamaxing is famous.

You can make clones out of legendary-exclusive moves, which means you make a Bug-type Dynamax Cannon clone for Behemoth.

New Moves: + Grimer moves, Teleport, Defend Order, Heal Order, Attack Order

Pokémon: Kantonian Dreepy
New Typing: Poison / Ghost
New Abilities: Infiltrator / Poison Point / Merciless
New Stats: 28 / 60 / 30 / 30 / 30 / 92
New Moves: Poison Sting, Toxic, Poison Gas, Poison Tail, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder
Removed Moves: All Dragon Type moves, Thunder Wave, Sucker Punch, Bite

A more aggressive form of Dreepy, used by the Fuisha City clan. Their horns are replaced by a single, aerodynamic pin, which helps them fly in straight lines. The red lines on their body are now purple.

Pokémon: Kantonian Drakloak
New Typing: Poison / Ghost
New Abilities: Infiltrator / Poison Point / Merciless
New Stats: 68 / 80 / 50 / 50 / 50 / 112
New Moves: + Dreepy Moves, Coil, Acid Spray, Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Venom Drench
Removed Moves: All Dragon Type moves, Thunder Wave, Sucker Punch, Bite

Kantonian Drakloak are known to be faster than their Galarian counterpart, and their shooting speed is no joke. They're known to have made incredible shots from nearly a mile or two away. They resemble their Galarian counterpart, with red over purple, a darker hue, and blowdart like point on their head.

Pokémon: Drakdart
New Typing: Poison / Ghost
New Abilities: Infiltrator / Poison Point / Merciless
New Stats: 80 / 125 / 85 / 80 / 80 / 150
New Moves: +Dreepy and Drakloak, Poison Dart (Poison Type Dragon Dart Clone, 100 BP- hits once, poisons foe 100%)
Removed Moves: All Dragon Type moves, Thunder Wave, Sucker Punch, Bite, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Hydro Pump, Thunder, Solar Beam

Drakdart resembles a Dragapult, but with a single blowdart like weapon on their head. They're quiet and faster than the average Dragapult, and deadlier than one would expect. They carry a single Dreepy with them at a time, and launch it at an incredible speed to strike their opponents down.

Pokémon: Alolan Venonat
New Typing: Ice / Bug
New Abilities: Tinted Lens / Snow Cloak / Snow Warning
New Stats: 60 / 60 / 50 / 40 / 55 / 45
New Moves: Aurora Veil, Hail, Mist, Triple Axel, Icicle Spear, Ice Ball, Ice Shard, Powder Snow, Icy Wind, Camoflauge
Removed Moves: All Poison Moves

Alolan Venonats are a rare sight on Mt. Lanakila- they blend in perfectly with the snowy enviroment. They can be spotted by their piercing green eyes and black limbs, with a darkish blue fur.

Pokémon: Alolan Venomoth
New Typing: Ice / Bug

New Stats: 70 / 60 / 60 / 90 / 90 / 80
New Moves: + Venonat Moves, Frost Breath, Aurora Beam, Ice Fang, Freeze Dry, Ice Beam, Blizzard
Removed Moves: All Poison Moves

Alolan Venomoth are...very strange. They tend to consume metal for producing off spring- during the construction of the Pokemon League, there were constant delays in progress because the Venomoths ate the tools needed for construction.

Pokémon: Venozero
New Typing: Ice / Dark
New Abilities: Tinted Lens / Scrap Eater / Snow Warning
New Stats: 90 / 70 / 80 / 120 / 115 / 90
New Moves: + Venonat and Venomoth, Cold Sap (Ice Type Strength Sap), Dark Pulse, Night Daze, Night Slash, Taunt, Beat Up, Foul Play, Lash Out, Thief
Removed Moves: All Poison Moves

A humanoid moth like Pokemon, Venozero tends to freeze targets solid. Being frozen by a Venozero is very frightening- surviving victims describe their ice as being so cold it burns.

read my ben 10 fanfic hahahah

Pokémon: Alolan Unown
New Typing: Fairy

New Stats: 60 / 60 / 60 / 60 / 60 / 60
New Moves: Fairy Wind, Floral Healing, Misty Terrain, Fairy Lock, Charm, Disarming Voice, Round, Draining Kiss, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Misty Explosion, Play Rough
Removed Moves: Hidden Power

Strange creatures bearing resemblance to Unown have been found floating around places where the Tapu rest. It's unknown what purpose they serve- maybe a way to communicate with the world, but these Pokemon are dangerous.

Pokémon: Venunown
New Typing: Fairy / Electric
New Abilities: Electric Surge
New Stats: 70 / 70 / 70 / 110 / 70 / 110
New Moves: Thundershock, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Rising Voltage, Zap Cannon, Rising Voltage, Charge, Sludge Bomb, Sludge, Sludge Wave, Gunk Shot, String Shot, Lunge, Ally Switch

New Moves: Psychic, Psyshock, Psywave, Expanding Force, Calm Mind, Gravity, Guard Split, Guard Swap, Ally Switch, Hypnosis, Miracle Eye

A strange mangled mess of what resembles a human. Being within a certain radius of it causes massive headaches- perhaps that's why it stays so close to its Tapu.

Pokémon: Nazkrypt
New Typing: Fairy / Grass
New Abilities: Grassy Surge
New Stats: 70 / 110 / 110 / 70 / 70 / 70
New Moves: Vine Whip, Magical Leaf, Spore, Spiky Shield, Strength Sap, Grassy Glide, Bullet Seed, Energy Ball, Wood Hammer, Giga Drain, Ally Switch, Power Whip, Wood Hammer

RESUBS:

Pokémon: Hoennian Yamask
New Typing: Electric / Ghost
New Abilities: Electrical Interference (Neutralizing Gas clone)
New Stats: 30 / 65 / 30 / 85 / 30 / 55
Added Moves: Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Wild Charge, Thunder Shock, Thunder Punch, Shock Wave, Rising Voltage, Parabolic Charge, Charge, Magnet Rise, Electro Ball, Charge Beam, Discharge, Poltergeist

Hoennian Yamask dwell in Old Mauville, hiding in various abandoned technology. The most commonly found form is an old game system. You can tell an Hoennian Yamask is close when you can hear the sound of a video game soundtrack.

Pokémon: Retrorigus
New Typing: Electric / Ghost
New Abilities: Electrical Interference (Neutralizing Gas clone)
New Stats: 58 / 105 / 50 / 135 / 50 / 125
Added Moves: Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Wild Charge, Thunder Shock, Thunder Punch, Shock Wave, Rising Voltage, Parabolic Charge, Charge, Magnet Rise, Electro Ball, Charge Beam, Discharge, Poltergeist

Retrorigus possesses obselete technology, empowering its body. However, due to the age of the technology, it lacks the defense of its counterparts. It holds no malicous intent towards humans, and shows some mild interest in technology of now. It's body is made up of the Gameboy, a few link cables and an old TV.

Pokemon: Unovan Rolycoly
New Typing: Rock / Poison
New Abilities: Steam Engine / Poison Point / Corrosion
New Stats: 30 / 50 / 40 / 50 / 40 / 30
Removed Moves: All Fire Type Moves
New Moves: Toxic Spikes, Poison Gas, Corrosive Gas, Poison Tail, Acid, Acid Armor, Acid Spray, Sludge, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Veno Shock, Smog, Clear Smog, Venoshock

Rolycoly in Unova dwell in the Castellia Sewage system. They collect all the trash in the waters to power up their bodies and collect speed. The main difference between a Galarian Rolycoly and Unovan Rolycoly is that the Unovan Rolycoly has the "eye" reversed, and its greenish hue. It carries waste on its back instead of rocks.

Pokemon: Unovan Carkol
New Typing: Rock / Poison
New Abilities: Steam Engine / Poison Point / Corrosion
New Stats: 50 / 90 / 60 / 70 / 60 / 80
Removed Moves: All Fire Type Moves
New Moves: Toxic Spikes, Poison Gas, Corrosive Gas, Poison Tail, Acid, Acid Armor, Acid Spray, Sludge, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Veno Shock, Smog, Clear Smog, Venoshock

Unovan Carkol are notably faster than their Galarian counterparts- they secrete some sort of energy that makes themselves faster when rolling on surfaces with that goop on it. They carry trash in their carts. They're very popular with dumpster divers.

Pokemon: Uraniossal
New Typing: Rock / Poison
New Abilities: Steam Engine / Poison Point / Corrosion
New Stats: 60 / 105 / 75 / 100 / 75 / 105
Removed Moves: All Fire Type Moves
New Moves: Uranium Douse (Tar Shot clone, doubles effectiveness of Poison type moves), Toxic Spikes, Poison Gas, Corrosive Gas, Poison Tail, Acid, Acid Armor, Acid Spray, Sludge, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Veno Shock, Smog, Clear Smog, Venoshock

The energy on Unovan Carkol causes them to evolve differently, into the enviromentally hazardous Uraniossal. Uraniossal are banned in a few parts of the region due to the damage they can cause...unintentionally. They're rather nice Pokemon, its just that the energy it generates...causes minor issues.

It resembles a Godzilla-esqe Pokemon- the back now carries yellowish stones with a greenish glow.

Pokémon: Kalosian Pichu
New Typing: Fire
New Abilities: Flame Body / Toast (Ripen Clone, roasts Berries and doubles their effect.) / Flash Fire
New Stats: 20 / 15 / 40 / 35 / 60 / 35
New Moves: Fire Spin, Ember, Sunny Day, Will O Wisp, Incinerate, Fire Fang, Burning Jealousy, Flame Burst, Fire Punch, Mystical Fire, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Fire Blast, Burn Up, Overheat
Removed Moves: All Electric Moves

Pichu in Kalos are commonly seen hanging around the tastiest bakeries. Bakers have even taken some in to help with the baking process. They're adorable little helpers. They have a redish tint to their fur, and a slightly larger tail.

Pokémon: Kalosian Pikachu
New Typing: Fire
New Abilities: Flame Body / Toast (Ripen Clone, roasts Berries and doubles their effect.) / Flash Fire
New Stats: 35 / 40 / 55 / 50 / 90 / 50
New Moves: Fire Spin, Ember, Sunny Day, Will O Wisp, Incinerate, Fire Fang, Burning Jealousy, Flame Burst, Fire Punch, Mystical Fire, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Fire Blast, Burn Up, Overheat
Removed Moves: All Electric Moves

Kalosian Pikachu are commonly used as waiters for restaurants. Some shadier restaurants use them for scamming others into giving tips. They use their tail as a tray to serve others. They have a scarlet fur tone, and their cheek pouches are black. They store heat inside their cheeks.

Pokémon: Pikachouille
New Typing: Fire
New Abilities: Flame Body / Toast (Ripen Clone, roasts Berries and doubles their effect.) / Flash Fire
New Stats: 70 / 55 / 100 / 80 / 110 / 80
New Moves: Fire Spin, Ember, Sunny Day, Will O Wisp, Incinerate, Fire Fang, Burning Jealousy, Flame Burst, Fire Punch, Mystical Fire, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Fire Blast, Burn Up, Overheat
Removed Moves: All Electric Moves

Pikachouille are some of the biggest critics in the region of food. If a Pikachouille does not like your food, retire and pack it up. They resemble a fatter, taller Pikachu, specifically the gigantamax form- it uses its tail as a stove top to cook berries and other foods. It dwarfs Snorlax in size.

Pokemon: Unovan Cubone
New Typing: Normal
New Abilities: Defeatist/Truant/Stall
New Stats: 50/50/65(-30)/50(+10)/65(+15)/40(+5)
Removed Moves:
Added Moves:
Tearful Look
Flavor/Design: After the Marowak population began to dwindle in Unova, Kangashkhan began looking after Cubone. They tried to stop them from being themselves and even hid their real parentage from them, despite the two pokemon being different. Kangashkhan took away its mothers skull and hid the bone it carried, however it just made Cubone feel like it couldn't be itself around its "mother". Overtime it lost the motivation to really do anything and questioned if the mother that loved it so much was the cause of its problems. However something changed when it found the bone. Same Height/Weight as Cubone.

Pokémon: Wrafili
Evolution Method: Level up holding the thick club
New Typing: Ground/Dark
New Abilities: Defiant/Anger Point/Justified
New Stats: 60/80/80/45/45/115 | BST: 425
New Moves: Movepool from Unovan Cubone + Lash Out, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Crunch, Land's Wrath, and Wrathful Bone(A dark type shadow bone clone)
Flavor/Design: When Cubone found the bone its eyes became red as it felt nothing but anger! Why did she keep this from him!? Why did she never tell him!? Cubone had felt betrayed by its mother from hiding its old identity from it. The identity that was its own all along but kept secret from it, was now finally Cubone's ... although this wrath transformed it into something more. It was no longer Cubone but Wrafili! It wasn't as big as its mother but by god could it finally take her down, but would he take down the only parent it had ever known? It would be an act of deviousness to do so, but how could someone who claims to love it hide this information from it. These thoughts forever torment Wrafili and it can only release its frustration on others in battle, where it is ruthless to make others suffer the way it had. Yet deep inside behind all the wrath is just sadness, sadness stemming from the fact that its own mother kept secrets from it. Occasionally some say that deep in the unovan mountains you can still hear the lonesome cries of the first Wrafili even still. Same Height/Weight as Marowak.

:ss/Scraggy:
Pokemon: Johtonian Scraggy
New Typing: Dark
New Abilities: Pickpocket/Technician/Moxie
New Stats: 50/75/55/35/55/78
Removed Moves: Brick Break, Focus Punch, Head Smash, Dragon Claw, Dragon Pulse, Coaching, Power-Up-Punch, Acid Spray, Scary Face, Bulk Up
Added Moves: Quick Attack, Sucker Punch, Smart Strike, Steel Roller, Close Combat, U-Turn, False Surrender, Parting Shot, Spikes, Toxic Spikes
Flavor/Design: Scraggy in the Johto region are infamous for being thieves. They lose their baggy leg skin, but develop a hood like skin-flap that acts as a sack of sorts. While primarily used for stealing the goods it also can be used to hide various traps to trip pursuers up, like caltrops. Generally if these Scraggy steal something they will give it to those in need. Some say they are influenced by a human thief from Johto who did something similar. Same height and weight as scrafty.

Pokémon: Goekawa
Evolution Method: Level Up knowing Smart Strike
New Typing: Dark/Steel
New Abilities: Symbiosis/Technician/Moxie
New Stats: 80/115/75/40/60/118 | BST: 488
New Moves: Movepool from Johtonian Scraggy + Sacred Sword, Slash, Night Slash, and Zantetsu(a steel type leaf blade clone)
Flavor/Design: Scraggy's in Johto also used makeshift swords to attack, however once they learn smart strike they realize the true power of the blade and in turn become Goekawa. These thieves become masters of the blade, and are generally seen as more honorable and nicer than their pre-evolutions. One legend states that a thief and his pokemon, a Goekawa and a Johtonian Scraggy were boiled alive in front of him. The Goekawa held the Scraggy over its head to prevent it from having to die young, only for Goekawa to succumb to the pain of being boiled alive. (Sidenote in case you didn't see the link this is something that happened to the actual Goemon and not a fucking One Piece reference. I do not have the time to watch 90000+ episodes of a bunch of pirates with weird eyes.) Also for some reason this pokemon works really well with Mr.Crime, and it is said if the two ever meet they'll team up and commit crimes together. Honor amongst thieves I guess.

:ss/Dratini: :ss/Dragonair:

Pokemon: Ultra Dratini
New Typing: Dragon/Psychic
New Abilities: Beast Boost
New Stats: 41/53(-11)/47(+2)/53(+3)/53(+3)/53(+3)
Removed Moves:
Added Moves: Ember, Calm Mind, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Psyshock, Zen Headbutt, Psychic, Expanding Force, Teleport, Stored Power
Flavor/Design: Deep within ultra space is an odd dimension, a dimension where the dreams and ideas from other dimensions end up. This dream dimension is populated by human-like beings called Dreamfinders who use pokemon that were the most dreamed about, as well as those native to the dream dimension itself. One such pokemon is Dratini, spawned in from humans in Kanto who dreamed of one day catching such a rare beast. They look to be fairly similar to kantonian dratini, however their skin is a slightly darker shade of blue and these creatures are highly curious and crave knowledge. No literally they crave knowledge, they eat dreams and ideas. This consumption of knowledge lead them to gain a higher intellect and psychic powers that sometimes help them get a snack in every now and then. Most Dreamfinders will work in tandem with these creatures to eliminate nightmares or bad ideas, like orange juice toothpaste. Same height and weight as dratini

Pokemon: Ultra Dragonair
Evolution Method: Level 30
New Typing: Dragon/Psychic
New Abilities: Beast Boost
New Stats: 61/73(-11)/67(+2)/73(+3)/73(+3)/73(+3)
Added Moves: Same movepool as Ultra Dratini
Flavor/Design: Due to the consumption of a lot of bad ideas and nightmares Ultra Dragonair begins to look somewhat terrifying. It grows four tentacle like tongues in which it consumes ideas. Despite its ghastly appearance it is quite cooperative with the Dreamfinders and still well behaved. At this stage in its life cycle the Dreamfinders will have it eat an excess of sweet dreams and good ideas, as to not give it the impression that there are only bad things in the universe. This also has the benefit of having it gain an appearance more fitting of its personality rather than one that would scare most outsiders. Same height and weight as Dragonair.

Pokemon: Figmenite
Evolution Method: Level 55
New Typing: Dragon/Psychic
New Abilities: Beast Boost
New Stats: 101/113/69/113/73/131 | BST:600
Added Moves: Same movepool as Ultra Dragonair and Dragonite + Psychic Fangs, Psycho Cutter, Bite, and Crunch
Flavor/Design: Two tiny wings, eyes big and yellow, horns of a Tauros, but a loveable fellow, from head to tail, it's royal purple pigment, and there, viola! You've got a Figmenite. These creatures resemble a more traditional dragon, except they're a lot smaller. Do not underestimate it because of its size, as Figmenites are one of the most powerful creatures in their dimension. Rather than consume ideas it now produces them doing its best to show everyone its creativity. For a time a Dreamfinder and their Figmenite resided in a region south of Unova in this experimental prototype community of the future. Its the most well known record on Earth of Figmenite and its creative prowess. It stands at 3 feet tall and weighs 35 lbs.

:ss/Slurpuff:
Pokemon: Unovan Slurpuff
New Typing: Fairy/Dark
New Abilities: Sweet Veil/Ripen
New Stats: 85(+3)/80/85(-1)/80(-5)/80(+5)/70(-2)
Removed Moves:
Added Moves: Memento, Dark Pulse, Lash Out, Sucker Punch, Knock Off, Parting Shot, Taunt, Torment, Payback, Switcheroo
Flavor/Design: When immigrants from a region with tradition of giving cakes on their birthdays came over to Unova, with their slurpuffs, the ingredients they had once used had to change. For a time things seemed well, until various people within Unova and its neighboring regions rejected these immigrants. While the immigrants eventually settled further west, hoping to get away from the people that hated them so their Slurpuffs stayed behind. Now filled with animosity these once sweet creatures gained a bitter taste and would lash out at the "natural born" settlers of Unova. This gave them the reputation of Sugary Demons, however another pokemon would allow them to awaken their full potential. Same height and weight as Slurpuff.

Pokemon: Birfdayfaek
Evolution Method: Level up with Litwick in the party
New Typing: Fairy/Dark
New Abilities: Pyromancy(Fire type Steelworker)/Ripen
New Stats: 105/85/100/105/85/40 | BST 520
Added Moves: Same movepool as Unovan Slurpuff + Overheat, Flare Blitz, Will-O-Wisp, Fire Blast, Fire Lash, Strength Sap
Flavor/Design: When leveled up with Litwick the sweet demon gains a few tiers and becomes the terrifying Birfdayfaek. A freakish abomination of frosting and moist cake. However its appearance of a cake is designed to fool people, as anyone who eats it is in for a bitter surprise. Not only does it taste incredibly bitter and dry, but soon the person begins to grow weak and frail. This goes on for the entire digestion process of the cake, until the person takes one final bathroom break to release the cake from their body. Unfortunately they tend to release their souls as well. This was how Birfdayfaek got revenge on the "natural born" unovans who hated their old trainers and forced them to move west.

RESUB:
:ss/Ferroseed:
Pokemon: Galarian Ferroseed
New Typing: Steel/Fighting
New Abilities: Infiltrator, Analytic
New Stats: 44/91/50/24/86/10 (swapped Ferroseed’s Attack and Defense)
Removed Moves: Body Press, all Grass-type moves
Added Moves: Bulk Up, Cross Chop, Sacred Sword, Power-Up Punch, Force Palm, Counter, Arm Thrust
Flavor/Design: Ferroseed that moved to Galar were used as inspiration by blacksmiths for making flanged maces. They were used as inspiration because their spiky exterior resembled maces that could penetrate even the toughest of armor. As practice, squires would typically use Galarian Ferroseed and attach them to a handle, since they can easily be removed, they won’t cause any wounds or injury, and they never get tired.

Pokemon: Cavalrace
Evolution Method: Level up with high friendship at day
New Typing: Steel/Fighting
New Abilities: Infiltrator, Analytic
New Stats: 74/131/94/34/96/60 (swapped Attack and Defense, then removed 20 from SpA and SpD and added them to Speed)
Removed Moves: Body Press, all Grass-type moves, Sunny Day, Substitute
Added Moves: Bulk Up, Cross Chop, Sacred Sword, Power-Up Punch, Force Palm, Counter, Arm Thrust, Close Combat, Circle Throw
Flavor/Design: It is said that Cavalrace are some of the fiercest Pokémon warriors in Galar. They are so strong, that the only Pokémon that can equal it in terms of sheer strength are Chivalot and Sirfetch’d. Chivalot, Sirfetch’d and Cavalrace are good friends, and they fought together against Eternatus in the Darkest Day. Today, Cavalrace are some of the Pokémon studied to get a glimpse of Galar’s history.
Competitive: Cavalrace takes on a more offensive role compared to its defensive counterpart Ferrothorn. Cavalrace best fits on Trick Room teams because its high Attack, mediocre Speed which is complemented with Analytic.
Origin: Galarian Ferroseed and Cavalrace are based on flanged maces, which were used in the Middle Ages.
Color Scheme: The spikes around Ferroseed and Cavalrace turn from green to gray coated with red, which symbolizes the blood of the enemies vanquished by both of them. The vines on Cavalrace from regular Ferrothorn turn from green to darkish gray, and its (feet?) turn from green to match the color of the part underneath it, light gray.

Removed Moves: Grudge, Astonish, Round
Added Moves: Scald, Liquidation, Aqua Jet
Flavor/Design: Dreepy migrated to Hoenn because it was warm there, and the waters there were fresh to drink. However, they descended under the sea because of the devastating battles between Groudon and Kyogre. 100 years after the battle, they ascended above the ocean, and their appearances have changed. They now resemble hydras, and are some of the fastest Water-types in Hoenn.

Pokemon: Hoennian Drakloak

They typically fight in territorial clashes with Barraskewda, Huntail, and Sharpedo. Hoennian Drakloak like to reside in geysers, since the water there is hot and refreshing.

Flavor/Design: Clauncher that arrived in Unova from Kalos were starving, and they eventually settled in Chargestone Cave, since there were lots of food nearby. They eventually changed their typing and appearance due to the special magnetic field in the area. They fire electrical beams that can supply energy to a nearby city for around half a year, so electrical workers came and caught them so that they can supply energy to their city, in case of blackouts.

Pokemon: Mutblitzol
Evolution Method: Use a Thunder Stone on a Unovan Clauncher
New Typing: Electric
New Abilities: Mutate (Zen Mode Clone - If this Pokemon is a Mutblitzol, it changes to Zen Mode if it has 1/2 or less of its maximum HP at the end of a turn. If Mutblitzol's HP is above 1/2 of its maximum HP at the end of a turn, it changes back to Standard Mode. This Ability cannot be removed or suppressed.)
New Stats: 66/88/73/120/89/64(swapped Attack and Defense, -5 in HP, +5 in Spe)
Removed Moves: Aqua Jet, Aqua Tail, Bubble Beam, Crabhammer, Dive, Muddy Water, Rain Dance, Scald, Surf, Waterfall, Water Gun, Water Pulse, U-turn
Added Moves: Electric Terrain, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Charge Beam, Nuzzle, Parabolic Charge, Rising Voltage, Thunder Wave, Electroweb, Charge, Electro Ball, Thunder
Flavor/Design: Mutblitzol now have lightning-shaped horns and are powerful predators, due to their sharp claws and powerful attacks. Mutblitzol shoot lightning from their claws in order to hunt, since their lightning can scorch prey, making them fresh to eat. They are usually defensive, and they like to accept the friendship of a Pokemon trainer.

Pokemon: Mutblitzol-Zen
New Typing: Psychic/Electric
New Stats: 66/88/73/140/89/104 (BST: 500 --> 560)
Removed/Added Moves: Same

That’s fair. I think I’ll refrain from making a clone of it, since I’ve already got a clone move and Ability for that line. I try to limit it to one of each per line so I don’t force people to do too much coding. Speaking of, is there a coder for this meta? We’ve generated a lot of content, I think it’s high time to get started on implementation.

I've been wondering about the coder too- is it the same vein as the code they use for Fusion Evolution?

I asked for a coding request at the Pet Mod discord server, so I hope I could get any answer and even progress. Once the coding is done, we can make a playtest out of the multiple Regional Evolutions we had made.

Alright, sweet. Should we also get someone to make sprites of the Variants?

Kantonian Qwilfish
Type:
Fire
Stats: 95/85/85/55/55/65 (440) (+30 HP, -10 Atk, -20 Spe)
Abilities: Flame Body, Aftermath (HA: Rough Skin)
New Moves: Ember, Flame Wheel, Flame Charge, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Flare Blitz, Will-o’-Wisp, Sunny Day, Solar Beam, Morning Sun, Heat Wave, Fire Spin, Overheat, Mind Blown, Burn Up
Removed Moves: Poison Sting, Water Gun, Brine, Toxic Spikes, Poison Jab, Aqua Tail, Blizzard, Dive, Hail, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Liquidation, Rain Dance, Scald, Sludge Wave, Surf, Venom Drench, Venoshock, Waterfall, Whirlpool, Acid Spray, Aqua Jet, Bubble Beam, Haze, Water Pulse, Bubble
Flavor/Design: Kantonian Qwilfish is colored red and dark gray instead of blue and yellow. It has a white skull-and-crossbones symbol on its belly and its spikes are flattened so that it resembles a naval mine. Kantonian Qwilfish is highly explosive, detonating with even a slight touch. The cocktail of explosive chemicals inside its body is derived from Johtonian Qwilfish’s potent toxins, but Kantonian Qwilfish lacks the poisonous spines of its counterpart. It floats through the sea, exploding if a predator tries to attack it. The only reason the species has not gone extinct is because the females lay thousands of eggs just before exploding.

Bakufugu
Type:
Fire/Steel
Stats: 145/110/90/60/65/75 (540) (+50 HP, +25 Atk, +5 Def, +5 SpA, +10 SpD, +10 Spe)
Abilities: Levitate, Aftermath (HA: Iron Barbs)
New Moves: Heat Crash, Heavy Slam, Steel Beam, Iron Head, Spiky Shield, Steel Spikes, Kantonian Qwilfish’s moves
Steel Spikes - Stealth Rock clone that sets Steel Spikes hazard.
(Note: Steel Spikes already exists as a hazard; it is currently only set by Copperajah’s G-Max Steelsurge.)
Height/Weight: 2.8 m, 882.3 kg (9’02”, 1945.1 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Bakufugu is larger than its pre-evolution, with an angrier expression. Its spikes are as sharp as Johtonian Qwilfish’s, and it has a chain connecting it to the ground instead of a tail. Its top half is bright red, and its bottom half is dark gray with a more menacing skull-and-crossbones mark than its pre-evolution’s. Bakufugu can control its explosions more accurately than its pre-evolution. Rather than exploding, its main method of attacking is to inflate itself as much as possible, extend its spikes, and swing around like a mace or wrecking ball, slamming into the opponent with its massive body. It can shoot its spikes at opponents, or strew them around on the ground like caltrops. Many ships at sea have been lost to Bakufugu thanks to its aggressive tendencies and extreme explosive power.
Competitive: With amazing physical bulk, an incredible defensive typing, and Levitate eliminating its biggest weakness, Bakufugu is a boon to both offense and defense teams. Its immunities to Toxic and burn combined with its fairly comfortable Speed tier and access to Taunt can make it an excellent stallbreaker, while it can act as a good stallmon itself thanks to its phenomenal bulk, the aforementioned immunity to Toxic, Spiky Shield, and Morning Sun, though it runs out of PP for Morning Sun fairly quickly. Truly horrible people can use Stockpile and Fire Spin to trap an opponent in and sit there whittling them down forever. Bakufugu can also excel offensively with its respectable base 110 Attack and a powerful STAB combination of Heavy Slam and Heat Crash, which will hit most things very hard on account of Bakufugu’s massive weight. Lastly, Bakufugu works amazingly as a hazard setter, with access to both Spikes and a unique Steel-type entry hazard that teams tend to be unprepared for because it basically doesn’t exist in the competitive scene thanks to only being accessible through a G-Max move until now. Though Bakufugu has many strengths, it also has several key weaknesses. Its special bulk is lackluster and it’s weak to Water, allowing strong Water-type special attackers like Keldeo and Ash-Greninja (this is Natdex, remember) to take it out easily. Keldeo is doubly scary to Bakufugu because its other STAB is the only other thing Levitate Bakufugu is weak to. Urshifu-Rapid-Strikes can also defeat Bakufugu easily despite its physical bulk—even Stockpile and Spiky Shield sets fall thanks to Surging Strikes and Unseen Fist. However, Urshifu-Rapid-Strikes has to be careful not to switch in on a Will-o’-Wisp. Mold Breaker Excadrill ignores Levitate and easily dispatches any Bakufugu variant, as does the (admittedly rare) Thousand Arrows Zygarde-10%. The few Pokémon that are close to Bakufugu’s weight can serve as checks or even counters, with Stakataka and Celesteela straight-up walling the Heavy Slam/Heat Crash sets. Lastly, bulky Water-types are the bane of Bakufugu’s existence, resisting both its STAB types (outside of which it has basically no coverage) and hitting it back super-effectively.

This evolutionary line is based on naval mines, which I’ve always thought pufferfish (and Qwilfish) looked like. As mentioned in Bakufugu’s description, the Steel Spikes entry hazard already exists, but it’s exclusive to Copperajah’s G-Max Steelsurge, so I decided to give it a proper place as a real entry hazard. Bakufugu’s name is based on “bakuhatsu” (Japanese for “explosion”) and “fugu” (a Japanese dish made from pufferfish). My original idea was a Water/Fighting type called “Pufferfist”, but I decided that this was more interesting.

:ss/mr. mime:
Hoennian Mr. Mime
Type:
Rock/Fairy
Stats: 40/100/120/45/65/90 (460) (swapped Atk and SpA, swapped Def and SpD)
Abilities: Rock Head, High Ground (HA: Technician)
High Ground - Levitate clone for Water-type moves.

New Moves: Rock Climb, Rock Tomb, Rock Throw, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Sandstorm, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Ancient Power, Stealth Rock, Play Rough, Body Press
Removed Moves: Power Swap, Guard Swap, Confusion, Role Play, Psybeam, Psychic, Ally Switch, Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Future Sight, Magical Leaf, Magic Room, Psychic Terrain, Psyshock, Rain Dance, Shadow Ball, Solar Beam, Stored Power, Sunny Day, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Trick Room, Wonder Room, Zen Headbutt, Expanding Force, Hypnosis, Power Split, Charge Beam, Dream Eater, Meditate, Psych Up, Psywave, Shock Wave, Signal Beam, Telekinesis, Teleport, Zap Cannon
Flavor/Design: Hoennian Mr. Mime has two brown, rocky growths on its head resembling clown hair, rather than blue growths like its Kantonian counterpart. The circles on its cheeks and the spheres connecting its limbs to its body are also brown and have a rock-like texture. Its upper body is white, with light brown markings that make it appear to be wearing a vest. Its feet are brown and resemble hiking boots, and its hands are black with brown pads on the fingers. Hoennian Mr. Mime has adapted to thrive in the rugged, mountainous environment of northwestern Hoenn. Its hands and feet are optimized for gripping solid surfaces, so it can scale even a vertical cliff face with ease.

Mr. Climb
Type:
Rock/Fairy
Stats: 80/110/125/60/75/70 (520) (+40 HP, +10 Atk, +5 Def, +15 SpA, +10 SpD, -20 Spe)
Abilities: Magic Guard, High Ground (HA: Technician)
New Moves: Accelerock, Bulk Up, Head Smash, Earthquake, Rapid Spin, Shore Up, Hoennian Mr. Mime’s moves
Height/Weight: 1.7 m, 100.0 kg (5’07”, 220.5 lbs)
Flavor/Design: The brown, rock-like growths on Hoennian Mr. Mime’s head are still present on Mr. Climb, but they now also cover the top of its head in a shape resembling a Tyrolean hat, and also extend down to form a mustache and beard around Mr. Climb’s face. Its body is brown and heavyset, with markings resembling a vest with pockets. Its lower body and upper legs resemble a pair of cargo pants. Its hands and feet resemble that of its pre-evolution. Mr. Climb carries a large backpack on its back that contains various hiking gear, including a rolled-up sleeping bag which visibly extends out of the top of the backpack. It also carries a walking stick made of stone. Mr. Climb is a natural mountaineer, even being able to walk up vertical surfaces as though it was walking on the ground. When Mr. Climb reaches the top of a mountain, it lets out a yodel, causing every other Mr. Climb in the area to respond in kind.
Competitive: Mr. Climb’s good physical bulk and access to Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin allow it to function fairly well as a hazard setter and remover. Magic Guard sets can use a strong, recoil-less Head Smash boosted by Life Orb. High Ground lets Mr. Climb switch into a good number of Pokémon that tend to otherwise lack coverage against its typing, such as Toxapex, Keldeo, most Greninja sets, and even Dracovish unless it’s running something like Iron Head or Earthquake. Mr. Climb’s access to Accelerock also makes it possible to run a Bulk Up set with Technician. Shore Up gives Mr. Climb a reliable form of recovery and, combined with its Water immunity, lets it work well on sand teams. Coverage moves such as Earthquake and Body Press are also very helpful for Mr. Climb—Earthquake combined with its STAB typings grants perfect neutral coverage, and Body Press is a useful move to have on any Pokémon with high Defense. Even with High Ground, Mr. Rime’s defensive typing does leave quite a bit to be desired, being weak against Ground and doubly weak against Steel. Its special bulk and Speed are also lackluster, so it’s scared out by most special attackers.

When I saw the Mr. Crime submission, the name “Mr. Climb” popped into my head and refused to leave. I designed the evolutionary line to resemble hikers, specifically the Hiker Trainer class in Generations 4 through 6. Originally I was going to have it be Rock/Psychic and scale invisible mountains, but I decided to change it to Rock/Fairy instead. I’m sad that I couldn’t work “High Ground” into a Revenge of the Sith reference instead of using it here, but “Mountaineer” was already taken.

:ss/glameow:
Kalosian Glameow
Type:
Normal/Ghost
Stats: 49/55/37/42/42/85 (310) (swapped Def and SpD)
Abilities: Limber, Technician (HA: Insomnia)
New Moves: Lick, Shadow Sneak, Tail Slap, Will-o’-Wisp
Removed Moves: Water Pulse, Feint Attack, Sunny Day, Rain Dance
Flavor/Design: Kalosian Glameow is white with black patches, similar to a “magpie” coloration. It is slightly heftier than its Sinnoan counterpart, with shorter, rounder ears and a thicker tail. Instead of fluffy white fur at the end of its tail, Kalosian Glameow has a white wisp-like flame similar to those at the end of Jibanyan’s tails. It uses the flame on its tail to light its way at night and to lure prey. Legends of “ghost lights” in the Kalos region are more often than not just sightings of this Pokémon.

Kalosian Purugly
Type:
Normal/Ghost
Stats: 71/82/59/64/64/112 (452) (swapped Def and SpD)
Abilities: Thick Fat, Technician (HA: Cat Nap)
Cat Nap - Clone of Early Bird.

New Moves: Phantom Force, Swords Dance, Curse, Slumbering Strike, Kalosian Glameow’s moves
Slumbering Strike - Normal-type Facade clone that doubles in power when the user is asleep.
Removed Moves: Roar, Water Pulse, Sunny Day, Rain Dance
Flavor/Design: Kalosian Purugly has the same magpie coloration as its pre-evolution. Its tail is white with black stripes with a flame on the end similar to that of its pre-evolution. Unlike its Sinnoan counterpart, Kalosian Purugly does not wrap its tail around its waist, instead holding it high up in the air. Kalosian Purugly’s ears have white flames at the end of them similar to the flame on its tail. It sleeps whenever it wants, with no relation to the time of day or night, but it always wakes up quickly. It likes to crawl inside boxes and other small spaces to sleep. The larger the flame on a Kalosian Purugly’s tail, the more respect it will earn from its peers.

Purradox
Type:
Normal/Ghost
Stats: 101/102/69/74/94/115 (555) (+30 HP, +20 Atk, +10 Def, +10 SpA, +30 SpD, +3 Spe)
Abilities: Comatose
New Moves: Poltergeist, Double-Edge, Yawn, Destiny Bond, Perish Song, Kalosian Purugly’s moves
Height/Weight: 2.0 m, 43.8 kg (6’07”, 96.6 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Purradox’s main body looks exactly like Kalosian Purugly’s, but it is sitting in a cardboard box fast asleep. Its tail is held up high, and a ghostly version of Purugly is emanating from the tail, with the tail of the ghost and real versions being connected. Purradox has baffled scientists, seemingly being both alive and dead at the same time. Its physical body is alive but in a vegetative state, so its spirit is still bound to the body. However, since it is straddling the fine line between life and death, its spirit has almost entirely left its body. It uses the manifestation of its spirit to protect its physical body from harm. From time to time, it will briefly regain control over its physical body and launch a devastating attack.
Competitive: With a unique and amazing defensive typing that has only one weakness, good special bulk, high Speed, strong STAB and immunity to status, Purradox is a great choice for many team archetypes. Comatose gives it a consistent 140-power Slumbering Strike, which is excellent in combination with Poltergeist, especially on Choice Band or Swords Dance sets. With Comatose Sleep Talk, you can even run Swords Dance on a Choice Band set if you’re an absolute madman. It doesn’t get much in the way of strong physical coverage outside of its STAB—its best options are U-Turn, Sucker Punch, Knock Off, Play Rough, and possibly Stomping Tantrum. Its physical bulk is also lackluster. Strong physical Dark-types, especially physically defensive Normal resists like Tyranitar and Bisharp, can easily dispatch offensive variants of Purradox. Purradox, however, isn’t just limited to offensive sets. Its high Speed and access to U-Turn, status moves and Taunt makes it a good utility Pokémon, and Taunt combines with its immunity to status and trapping to make it a phenomenal stallbreaker. However, it is vulnerable itself to faster Taunt users. Purradox can also be revenge-killed fairly easily by strong hits from faster Pokémon or Scarf users. Lastly, Purradox lacks any form of recovery, including Rest, so it can be worn down throughout the match and has trouble switching in repeatedly against hazards.

I agonized over what to do for a Normal/Ghost type, since they’re basically diametrically opposed to each other. I finally settled on a reference to one of the most famous misinterpretations of quantum mechanics—Schrödinger’s Cat. The first two parts of the evolutionary line are based on will-o’-the-wisps, while Purradox itself is a (very inaccurate) representation of the Schrödinger’s Cat “paradox”, which purports to show the problems with the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics. I stripped away as much as possible of the physics talk because that adds nothing to design or flavor and was left with the idea of a cat in a box that is simultaneously both alive and dead. The closest state to both of those that I could think of was someone in a coma, so I decided to give it Comatose and work backwards to give its pre-evolutions sleep-related Abilities as well. Slumbering Strike is born of my annoyance at Facade not being boosted by sleep, and Cat Nap is an idea for an Early Bird clone that I’ve had for a while. Some people might notice that Purradox weighs exactly the same as Purugly and is exactly twice as tall. This is intentional—it gains no weight, since all that’s added is a cardboard box and a ghost (neither of which add anything significant in terms of weight), and the ghost is the same size as the physical body, doubling its total length/height/whatever metric you use to measure a Pokémon’s size.

I’ll also admit that this line was partially inspired by Stray Cat, considering that I watched Diamond Is Unbreakable only a couple days before creating this.

:ss/bonsly:
Unovan Bonsly
Type:
Rock/Ground
Stats: 50/80/95/10/45/10 (290) (unchanged)
Abilities: Rock Head, Sand Force (HA: Mimicry)
New Moves: Earthquake, Magnitude, Sand-Attack, Shore Up, Sweet Scent
Removed Moves: Low Kick, Rollout, Stomping Tantrum
Flavor/Design: Unovan Bonsly lacks the legs of its counterpart, instead being partially buried in the ground like the members of the Diglett line. Its “leaves” also have a yellow coloration resembling that of Sinnoh’s Honey Trees. It disguises itself as a tree and emits a sweet scent to hide from predators. When its scent attracts herbivores and pollinators, it burrows into the ground to escape.

Unovan Sudowoodo
Type:
Rock/Ground
Stats: 80/100/105/30/65/30 (410) (+10 HP, -10 Def)
Abilities: Rock Head, Sand Force (HA: Mimicry)
New Moves: Branch Poke, Ingrain, Spikes, Camouflage, Unovan Bonsly’s moves
Removed Moves: Rollout, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Focus Punch, Power-Up Punch, Dynamic Punch, Hammer Arm, Mega Kick, Low Kick, Stomping Tantrum
Flavor/Design: Its lower body is buried into the ground like its pre-evolution’s. Instead of a distinct pair of arms, Unovan Sudowoodo has several branch-like structures on its body, ending in green, leaf-like crystals. It can still burrow underground when threatened, but its body is not as streamlined as Bonsly’s, so it prefers fighting to fleeing. It sheds the leaflike crystals in autumn and scatters them on the ground around itself, so that any predators who approach it risk stepping on one and injuring themselves.
Competitive: 80/105/65 with Eviolite ain’t bad, but Unovan Sudowoodo faces heavy competition from Rhydon as a Rock/Ground Eviolite user, with its only real advantage being Spikes.

Fauxliage
Type:
Rock/Grass
Stats: 120/120/135/40/70/50 (535) (+40 HP, +20 Atk, +30 Def, +10 SpA, +5 SpD, +20 Spe)
Abilities: Rock Head, Harvest (HA: Mimicry)
New Moves: Leech Seed, Synthesis, Solar Blade, Solar Beam, Leaf Storm, Growth, Unovan Sudowoodo’s moves
Height/Weight: 6.9 m, 420 kg (22’08”, 925.9 lbs)(nice)
Flavor/Design: Fauxliage’s body has undergone a physical change, turning from stone into an extremely tough and dense wood. Its lower body is a complex network of roots that extends down into the ground, absorbing water from the soil. Many branch-like structures extend from its upper body, covered with the leaflike crystals of its previous form, which can now absorb solar energy in a method remarkably similar to photosynthesis. When it stands still and closes its eyes and mouth, it’s nearly impossible to visually tell it apart from a tree, and even its biology resembles a tree’s. Legends of “moving trees” defending forests in Unova are actually stories of this Pokémon, which will viciously attack anyone who harms it or any real trees close to it. Its disguise as a tree is so thorough that some scientists have moved to have it biologically classified as a tree.
Competitive: With massive physical bulk and the powerful one-two punch of Head Smash and Wood Hammer without recoil, Fauxliage is an excellent physical tank. Its defensive typing leaves (pun intended) a lot to be desired, but it can make up for that with reliable recovery in the form of Synthesis. Due to its bulk and access to Stealth Rock and Spikes, it can also function very well as a hazard setter. Harvest sets fit onto sun teams well, especially with Solar Blade as an option, since Fauxliage threatens the Water, Rock and Ground types that tend to threaten Fire-type sun setters and abusers, although it’s neutral to all of those and therefore may struggle to switch in.

I first encountered the name “Fauxliage” as a nickname for a Sudowoodo I received via Wonder Trade once upon a time, and I immediately said, out loud, “I need to make that its own thing.” I don’t know why I said it out loud, considering nobody else was in the room, but here I am six years later making it its own thing. The sheer genius of the name and how well it flows with the rest of the evolutionary line means that I’m probably not the first person to come up with a Sudowoodo evolution called Fauxliage, but I somehow haven’t seen one yet, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. Anyway, I thought it would be really funny to have Sudowoodo’s disguise get so good that it fools reality itself and becomes an actual tree. The evolutionary line is also partially based on the concept of petrified wood, although in this case it goes the other way round as stone turns into wood. Fauxliage also takes some inspiration from myths of talking/moving trees, as well of Tolkien’s Ents and Huorns.

I was debating between submitting Fauxliage and a bamboo-based evolution called Bamboozle. Ultimately, I decided to go with the pun that was less stupid, especially since “bamboozle” is just an actual word (though that didn’t exactly stop me from submitting Behemoth).

Also, I know that the lyric is from The Trees and not Broon’s Bane, but Broon’s Bane is an instrumental (with, obviously, no lyrics) that leads into The Trees so I figured it’s close enough.

:ss/snubbull:
Galarian Snubbull
Type:
Fairy/Fighting
Stats: 60/70/60/40/40/30 (300) (-10 Atk, +10 Def)
Abilities: Intimidate, Strong Jaw (HA: Steadfast)
New Moves: Jaw Lock, Double-Edge, Hyper Fang
Removed Moves: Thief, Torment, Payback, Shadow Ball
Flavor/Design: Galarian Snubbull is quadrupedal and slightly more muscular than its Johto counterpart, and its coloration is largely white with brown patches. Its keen sense of smell and strong muscles make it perfect for police work. Police officers train Galarian Snubbull to hire onto criminals and never let go.

Galarian Granbull
Type:
Fairy/Fighting
Stats: 90/115/80/65/55/45 (450) (-5 Atk, +5 Def, +5 SpA, -5 SpD)
Abilities: Intimidate, Strong Jaw (HA: Steadfast)
New Moves: Drain Punch, Galarian Snubbull’s moves
Removed Moves: Thief, Torment, Shadow Ball
Flavor/Design: Galarian Granbull is bipedal, with the same white-brown pattern as its pre-evolution and large, strong arms. The black markings on regular Granbull are changed to blue on the Galarian form. It uses both its strong jaws and muscular arms to detain criminals. It has the uncanny ability to smell whether or not a person has committed a crime, and it’s so accurate that people use it instead of lie detectors.

Constabull
Type:
Fairy/Fighting
Stats: 100/135/85/85/70/65 (540) (+10 HP, +20 Atk, +5 Def, +20 SpA, +15 SpD, +20 Spe)
Abilities: Intimidate, Justified (HA: Detain)
Detain - Magnet Pull clone for Dark-types.

New Moves: Imprison, Arrest, Beat Up, Block, Fairy Lock, Pursuit, Galarian Granbull’s moves
Arrest - Fighting-type Anchor Shot clone.
Height/Weight: 1.6 m, 68.2 kg (5’03”, 150.4 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Constabull has a heavyset body with a respectable amount of muscle. It has a similar white-and-brown pattern as its pre-evolutions. Its facial structure is similar to Granbull’s, but with a prominent set of jowls. It wears a blue hat resembling the Scotland Yard custodian helmet and carries a nightstick. Constabull is used by law enforcement to both sniff out crime and detain criminals. When it locks onto someone who has committed a crime, it will never stop pursuing them until that person has been arrested. Though it looks violent and is fully trained for combat, Constabull prefers to detain criminals through non-violent methods, only resorting to force once all other options have been exhausted.
Competitive: Constabull serves as an answer to basically every single Dark-type Pokémon. Justified lets it act as a phenomenal Dark-type switch-in, doubly resisting Dark and getting a +1 Attack boost in the process. Detain allows it to trap opposing Dark-types, most of which really don’t want to stay on the field against a Fairy/Fighting type but will be forced to anyway. Taunt and Thunder Wave give Constabull some utility against the few Dark-types it doesn’t beat outright. Its Speed is fairly low and its defenses aren’t the best, so Constabull can be revenge-killed pretty easily. It also doesn’t have any real ways of dealing with Poison-types, so physically bulky Poison-type Pokémon can be used to take it out.

Does anyone remember the painfully bad 1990 TV pilot for a show called “Poochinski” about a police bulldog who was also a policeman? No? Well, that’s good, because it was terrible, but it also serves as a partial inspiration for this line. The whole evolutionary line was inspired by the English bulldog, which is often used as a police dog. Constabull’s name comes from “constable”, the default rank of police officers in the UK, and “bulldog”. The move Arrest is, of course, modeled after how police officers arrest criminals, and the Ability Detain trapping Dark-types is a reference to how the Dark type is seen as an “evil”, “wicked”, “delinquent” or “criminal” typing (even being called the Evil type in Japanese) and any police officer worth their salt wouldn’t want to let a criminal or villain just run away.

:ss/morelull:
Unovan Morelull
Type:
Grass/Psychic
Stats: 40/35/45/65/85/15 (285) (-10 Def, +10 SpD)
Abilities: Effect Spore, Harvest (HA: Wonder Skin)
New Moves: Psychic, Psyshock, Hypnosis, Confusion, Future Sight, Trick Room, Infestation
Removed Moves: Moonlight, Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, Draining Kiss, Signal Beam, Spotlight, After You
Flavor/Design: Unovan Morelull has yellow-gold colored mushrooms rather than the pink mushrooms of its Alolan counterpart. The mushrooms are more conical at the tips, and the mushroom stalks are in a wavy pattern rather than being straight. Unovan Morelull also has a third eye on its “forehead” (for lack of a better descriptor), which is closed. It is said that Morelull from the Unova region can see into the future and use their psychic powers to daze and confuse their opponents. A person can easily get lost in a forest full of Unovan Morelull, since they like to use their powers to distort the perceptions of passersby.

Unovan Shiinotic
Type:
Grass/Psychic
Stats: 70/45/60/90/110/30 (405) (+10 HP, -20 Def, +10 SpD)
Abilities: Effect Spore, Harvest (HA: Wonder Skin)
New Moves: Acid, Acid Armor, Acid Spray, Venoshock, Unovan Morelull’s moves
Removed Moves: Moonblast, Draining Kiss, Signal Beam, Spotlight
Flavor/Design: Unovan Shiinotic’s mushroom cap is red with many small white dots. Its mushroom cap is wider and flatter than its counterpart’s, with the fringe around the edge of the cap having a spiral shape. The third eye present on its pre-evolution has opened and looks similar to Jirachi’s “true eye”. The pink part of Alolan Shiinotic’s lower body is red for Unovan Shiinotic as well. It secretes a special toxin from the fringe around its cap, which can intoxicate anyone who touches it. This toxin can also cause psychic visions and has been used in spiritual practices for centuries. It is suspected that Unovan Shiinotic can see the future by metabolizing its own toxins.

Hallucybin
Type:
Poison/Psychic
Stats: 110/65/75/110/130/40 (530) (+40 HP, +20 Atk, +15 Def, +20 SpA, +20 SpD, +10 Spe)
Abilities: Effect Spore, Bad Dreams (HA: Magic Guard)
New Moves: Sludge Wave, Psywave, Hex, Strange Steam, Nightmare, Topsy-Turvy, Unovan Shiinotic’s moves
Height/Weight: 1.5 m, 42.0 kg (4’11”, 92.6 lbs)
Flavor/Design: Hallucybin has a large mushroom cap with a spiraling tie-dye pattern on it that shifts and changes colors throughout the battle. The spiraling fringe surrounding the cap now has an eye in the middle of each spiral structure. Hallucybin’s upper body is similar to Shiinotic’s, but wider. The third eye now has a constantly swirling spiral in the middle. The lower part of Hallucybin’s body is a mass of tentacle-like roots. Hallucybin causes powerful hallucinations in those nearby and can render someone unconscious with a single touch of its neurotoxin-coated tentacles. Its toxins induce vivid nightmares that can persist even after waking up.
Competitive: Hallucybin is an excellent special tank that has the privilege of being the bulkiest Spore user in the game. Having a 100% accurate sleep move and Bad Dreams makes Hallucybin a great Pokémon to take out any special attackers that threaten your team—putting them to sleep will deal damage over time. Since Hallucybin is slow, it usually gets an extra turn of Bad Dreams damage because the foe will generally have already moved before getting put to sleep. This all but guarantees that a sleeping foe will lose at least ¼ of their max HP, and if you’re running Hex, you can deal massive damage to a sleeping foe. Alternatively, combine Spore/Bad Dreams with Leech Seed and Infestation if you want to KO an opponent with residual damage in as little as 3 turns! Bad Dreams also makes it much more difficult for opposing stall sets to try and stall you out with Rest, since they’ll still be taking damage while asleep.

This line is based on hallucinogenic substances that are found in mushrooms. The most common of these is psilocybin, found in mushrooms of the genus Psilocybe, also known as “magic mushrooms”. Morelull’s design is based partially on the mushroom Psilocybe semilanceata, which is commonly used for both recreational and religious purposes. Shiinotic’s design is based on the more dangerous Amanita muscaria, which is also hallucinogenic and used in religious rituals. The third eye on the species is a reference to the Hindu, Buddhist and New Age concept of a “third eye” that is the center of psychic power. The spirals and tie-dye colors on Hallucybin are a reference to the visions of vivid colors and fractal shapes that many people experience while on hallucinogens, as are its extra eyes and tentacles. The line being able to see the future and being able to bestow that ability via toxins is a reference to the use of hallucinogens for religions and spiritual purposes. Having the line learn Acid, Acid Armor and Acid Spray is an oblique reference to the drug LSD, which is colloquially known as “acid”, and Hallucybin’s Hidden Ability being Magic Guard is a reference to the previously mentioned term “magic mushrooms”.

DISCLAIMER: Drugs are bad for you and you shouldn’t do them.

Flavor/Design: This variant of Croagunk is based in Moor of Icirrus, they are used to jump from one pond to another and rest on lilys that float. They don't have any real predator in this habitat, so they don't learn to fight and their venom has chemically muted to a benefic salve that they use to cure their skin and keep it soft and smooth. With their evolution into Healotus, they enhance the positive effects of the liquid their skin produces, gaining healing effects that they use to cure themselves and other wounded Pokémon. When Healotus is present in an habitat, it is said to raise the life expectancy of all the Pokémon that live there, because they serve as the healer of the community. Many human medicines come from the secretion of their skin.

Would the Unown Dimension count as a "region" in the same vein of the Distortion World?
You may want to elaborate or give a link about it so that I and the others figures out if it is interesting enough to be allowed for the "Spin-Off" category.

As something I need to tell you, I highly recommend that you use the international measures for the height (meter) and weight (kilogram). This is because Pokémon Showdown uses these measures for calculation and other things, and Stitch98 - he's the one doing the coding - will greatly appreciates us to use the respective international measures from this on.

We’ve stuck exclusively to game material thus far and the Unown Dimension is only seen in the anime (with a possible brief cameo in HGSS during the Arceus event, but that’s not confirmed). I personally don’t think anime-exclusive locations should be allowed, even though I’d love to see stuff from the Orange and Decolore Islands.

Speaking of non-video-game regions, would it be possible to do something from Holon? It’s exclusive to the TCG, but it pioneered the concept of differently-typed Pokémon variants. I don’t really have any desire to do a Holonian (Holonese?) sub myself, but I just wanted to get a clear verdict on this.

That would be an awkward double-standard if we allow from Holon as well, so no for both now that you got me considered.

BTW, tomorrow will be when the voting phase will starts.

That’s fair. There are plenty of other spinoff game regions that haven’t been explored yet, so we’re not really missing anything by excluding anime and TCG regions.

I’ll make sure to remember to compile the subs this time around!
