I had read about 5 posts when I protected asek but he seemed sorta noncommittal and not extremely active which I could see as possibly an asek cop game. N1 kill was Texas so my feeling was N2 that scum would kill someone with experience on smogon. Gamestate seemed like scum would want to wipe out cop since neither cop nor backup had died yet so I just went with a protect on Asek as a. an experienced player and b. someone that could be killed as a cop read. I wasn't impressed by his d3 and it felt much less like he was trying to move the game in some positive direction so I backed off a bit on the cop read.
I then protected FH because he was most experienced player left that might have been cop in a world where he has town on viper and mafia on asek, but backed off the vote when he saw I was trying to take flack for him. Considering I think that very few people had fh/dusk/me in the lynch pool I felt that a kill would probably go there. And since viper didn't do shit on d3 which is the only day I paid any attention to, I had no read on viper whatsoever and figured he'd just get ignored.
He actually straight up just lied.

asek I never particularly townread; just on n2 if he was town, he'd be a likely kill target. I wasn't told I got subbed in until like 7 hours before deadline on discord on n2 and I've been away basically the whole week so I didn't have time to actually read so protected him off reputation and the little I'd read made him a possible cop. I don't think he's the scummiest scum to ever scum but he's not towntelling at all in a game where a lot of people alive have towntold and he's had plenty of opportunities to do so and hasn't
fh's energy read makes me tr him a bit even if I don't agree with it. I didn't like the asek vote at the time when I was evaluating who to protect on n3 because it felt like he might be trying to fish for cop info but viper flipping sort of disavowed that line of thought for me? I then did a quick gloss over his posts in an iso that I spent 3 mins on to see if I felt ok with dropping a protect there and I did

I don't think I explained my logic on the fh protect well since the viper stuff obv happened after flip; that's just like thinking re: evaluating fh and not "why I protected him" but I am le tired and words are hard
More fishing cop info + pushing on Viper
Da Letter El ngl, this is really the post where I started to SR him. This was in response to me asking why the doc hadn't protected texas when he was an obvious town kill. I never really pressed him on this, but it stuck in my mind as something really really awkward because I just don't see how town=energy comes to think to ask this.

The kills make perfect sense to, FH killed Hal and Texas because he knew they were his biggest threats, iirc Texas even had an FOS on FH. Then he killed Viper solely off my interaction with Viper and his one line about how we should vote Nuxl.

To be completely honest, I like our odds much better now than I did yesterday.
FH revealed himself as scum and we know Nuxl is scum. That means we have one left.
Day 6 will come down to Jalmont, Asek, and Dusk, I do trust my read on Jalmont town.

Scum team is probably nuxl/asek/energy. That dialogue between energy and fh came out with energy looking kinda desperate and it's the most he pushed all game. Considering nuxl was also scumread by asek starting d2 I'm guessing they decided to bus him.

Also yeah viper should've always claimed yesterday, it would've been pretty nice to have another lock town now from d2.

I figure there's a good chance viper copped fh D1 with the way that went tbh, which would make fh town. Obviously we can't be sure but the whole hal Vs fh D1 and then viper sheeping hal all game speaks towards fh being read. Thoughts on that?
