Yeah, it's subtle, but the 101th pokemon is celebrating. Yeah, I'm in New England. Just finished Horsea and Seadra, making Kingdra on another day.
 
Candlectrode is beast.

Regirock is barely done since he has so many segments and shades. <3 Will post him before the date rolls over hopefully.
 
Haha, nice, Random. The plain Rotom's left side by its eye is odd though.

Also, sorry for not posting Regirock. Parent wanted on so I went to play Tony Hawk. :B Working on it now though!

Spiritomb looks awesome pillowed. The 'face' looks kind of weird, but I suppose that is how it is supposed to look. And it doesn't look like you did the base. It kind of sticks out.

It doesn't I know, but it could be because I didn't get to use the lightest of the three shades there was...

Thanks for the constructive criticism though.
 
Regirock looks great! I just wish I had more time for the others I've reserved. I'll get to them eventually...
 
Regice has a whole lot of lines. Several segments > lots of lines imo.

Also I'm tripletasking so don't expect Regice to be done soon. :P /updating art thread
 
I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with doing it yourself, I just wanted to let you guys know that you could save yourself a lot of time if you didn't know...If you just enjoy doing it, than it doesn't really matter...just so long as your having fun.
 
Lux, some of us have what I like to call pride in our accomplishments. Sure we could just use a photoshop filter, but then there wouldn't be the cheating that makes each spriter's pillows unique. That's like the vets from Amethyst simply resizing sprites. Sure, it works, Look at iiMKUltra's current avatar, that was submitted to Amethyst and rejected. I bet that he feels a sense of accomplishment (or at least humor) for making that, instead of simply copying the sprite over.
Less ranty: I'm up to date with the sprites.
 
I was simply pointing out the obvious...and furthermore, there are lots of other ways to edit sprites that cannot be mimicked with a simple click on Photoshop...and you still get the same sense of accomplishment. ^_^

Don't overact and get all self righteous...it's not necessary, I wasn't trying to offend anyone. I still think the sprites look really good.
 
@Lux: Is everyone going to have to point out that you're being an ass before you leave, like what happened on the WSC thread?

To the less douche baggy: please PM your sprites that you want in the OP, it looks really sad with only two.
