Hi guys, Louisxd here with my first ORAS RMT. I decided to make a Mega Slowbro team because he is cool, isn't receiving all that hype so I liked to use something not that much hyped to be a special snowflake, and it's being great because he walls the meta physically but I think this team could be improved by an external view.

Initial line-up:

Teambuilding process:

Obviously I started with the good and old slowbro with the mega stone on it. I though that the best way to go was fully defensive so I wouldn't have to worry about having any other physical walls.

Then I proceded and added Gliscor that have an awesome sinnergy with Slowbro and went SpDef on it and also Clefable to cover the other two weaknesses that also ended up being the stealth rocker.

After the whole defensive core being complete I added Latios as a revenge killer using scarf and also covering weaknesses to Char Y and Breloom as the core that I had formed does not have a way to deal with them.

After the mainframe of the team felt complete with the first four pokemons I decided to add some offensive presence to the team in a core that I like very much: speedy SD Scizor + SD Talonflame.
Now let's take a closer look at the team:

Retarded fella (Slowbro) (M) @
slowbronite.png

Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Calm Mind
- Slack Off

Here is the main fella of the team. I choose him for the reasons said above but also because I would like to use his true potential. First of all, I really didn't wanted to use the RestTalk set as it seemed underwhelming and not fully exploring Mega Slowbro's fully potential, so I went on a middle term, using CM but in together with Slack Off instead of Rest because first of all he is a wall and not the main win condition of the team, and RestTalk proves itself unreliable at times. Scald and Psyshock for solid damage with STABs and Regenerator because I won't mega evolve him unless I really need to and so on the Regenerator helps a lot to pivot early game.

Drug addicted (Gliscor) (M) @
toxicorb.png

Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 192 SpD / 72 Spe
Careful Nature
- Taunt
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Roost

Now on the crazy and awesome Gliscor. As I said above, he and Slowbro have an awesome sinnergy as his Ice and Water weaknesses are resisted by Slowbro while he resists Bug, is immune to Electric and take regular hits from all other Slowbro's weaknesses, he also absorbs status that would make Slowbro really unhappy. I choose the classic specially defensive set here because thats what the team was needing at the moment as well as a taunt user. Earthquake is a STAB to hit hard and he also has Knock Off over Toxic because at some point it became hard for the team to deal with Gengar that could come almost for free on all my 3 members of the defensive core and Knock Off is also an awesome move for utility that also hits Lati@s hard on the switch in. Roost is there to give more ways of healing Gliscor besides the Poison Heal and is also something that allows him to wall Latios Draco Meteor. Gliscor is also the main way to deal with CM Clefable, something that holds Slowbro's sweep late game.

Le old fairy (Clefable) (F) @
leftovers.png

Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
Calm Nature
- Moonblast
- Flamethrower
- Soft-Boiled
- Stealth Rock

Clefable is here to support. She absorbs status, provides Stealth rock and also walls the classic BoltBeam coverage that simply wrecks the two above mons. Moonblast is a STAB and main way to deal damage, specially on Lati@s that thinks about coming to defog my rocks. Flamethrower so I can hit Excadrill that otherwise would simply spin or kill Clefable easily, as well as hitting Scizor and Bisharp on the switch and Ferrothorn or Skarmory leads. Soft-Boiled for the obvious healing. She also deals nicely enough against M-Sableye that also hold Slowbro's sweep late game.

Jet (Latios) (M) @
choicescarf.png

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Trick

Latios is here but unhappily he isn't coming with Ash's Pikachu in its back. His main job is to revenge kill anything that I allow to set up, or that is simply naturally too fast (Greninja and the new Megas), as well as dealing with Breloom and M-Char Y. Both STABs covers what he needs to hit nicely enough and Defog so he provides some needed support to Talonflame. Trick is the final move of choice to cripple an important defensive member on the opposing team and also after tricking my choice scarf to the opponent it becomes easier to defog.

Erza (Scizor) (F) @
lifeorb.png

Ability: Technician
EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Superpower

Scizor is the first half of the offensive core of the team. Enough speed and power to lure and kill Rotom-W as well as Heatran to make the path clean for a Talonflame late-game sweep. SD together with Bug Bite are needed to kill Rotom-W and Superpower is to KO Heatran. Bullet Punch is needed priority that allows him to do some damage before being revenge killed, if thats what you want. BP can also help revenge killing the biggest threat to this team if he has used Ice Beam last or is in KO range: Greninja. Its very rare to see him sweep alone but it can happen if the opponent is unprepared enough.

mah burd (Talonflame) (M) @
sharpbeak.png

Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Roost

Here it is: the classic smogburd ! The second half of the offensive core and main win condition, Talonflame isn't here to play around. After Scizor and the other teammates cleans up the path he can come in, SD and clean the late-game. I choose this spread so he can outspeed stuff like scarf Zone and Raikou and kill it with Flare Blitz, keeping full Atk and the rest on HP. Brave Bird and Flare Blitz are the main STAB and all it needs, together with Roost so he can have an easier time setting up. His secondary role is to revenge kill stuff that Latios couldn't finish off, like M-Gyarados as such.

Threat list:
Its a huge threat, has to be played around with Clefable and Scizor. Latios and Talonflame can revenge kill.
Usually walled by Slowbro but if its carrying grass knot then its a huge threat. I have to play around with Scizor and then hope to kill it with Talonflame, I can hope to a hit Flamethower with Clefable on the switch.
I can't really wall it, but Scizor and Talonflame can revenge kill.
If its the offensive set carrying Bug Bite it becomes really hard to deal with it as it has initial power to threaten Gliscor and can KO Slowbro after SD. I hope to revenge kill it with Talonflame or hit with Clefable on the switch or predicted SD.
Its a pain in the ass to deal with, as only Latios can hope to wall but at the same time as I don't carry Roost it is worn down easily. I must keep SR on the field to limit its switch ins.
Since now it has Crunch it can kill Slowbro. If I let it setup, something that happens often, I have to hit a draco meteor as Latios dies next and finish it with Talonflame.
It is a problem to deal with for 4 members of my team since it usually carries HP Fire, but hopefully its setup bait for Talonflame.

186.png
Rain teams are basically hard do deal as it makes their guys outspeed Latios, usually have something for Talonflame and I don't carry any hard wall to Kingdra. Its not auto-lose but requires playing correctly.
494.png
SubPuP variants are hard to deal with and requires correct prediction.

Ending words:

This is a team I find really fun to use and surprises me sometimes by how it can decently deal with most threats. Well this is it guys. I hope you enjoyed this RMT and that you can help me improve the team. Feel free to use it and give it a like if you found this an enjoyable post.

Hi! This is a nicely constructed RMT and I really like it. Onto the rate!

This team has WAY too many threats, and some changes can be made to adjust to those.
First of all, you have only one resistance to Grass that can effectively faint Grass types too. Im obviously talking about Talonflame, and once he's down to take care of them, you are in a lot of danger.
Next is Clefable, where I would run Fire Blast > Flamethrower for better damage.
Other than that, this team isn,t too bad, but make sure to run 0 Atk IVs on each of your Special Pokemon so they take less from Confusion and Foul Play.

Hope it helps.
