Spikey: Clangorous Soul and Swords Dance on a Parental Bond Pokemon with options like Bolt Beak, Obstruct, and Brick Break makes me concerned. It can even run Anchor Shot to potentially take on Baloon. It isn’t very bulky with 31 Base HP, though, and it has no reliable recovery, so maybe that balances it?
Magicish: This thing can run a super powerful mixed set, with stuff like Psycho Boost and Blue Flare coming off of 156 Special Attack. It also has BoltBeam, a respectable EQ, Light of Ruin, Strength Sap, and Obstruct. I’m going to say this is probably not smart to include.
Megos: Oh boy. This thing’s stats are lightly minmaxed, which wouldn’t be a problem if it didn’t have literally the most perfect set of ability and moves to break its stat spread. Speed Boost combined with Dragon Dance spirals this thing out of control fast, and with powerful coverage like Knock Off and Fusion Bolt, it’s very dangerous. If you don’t feel like becoming a speed demon right away, you can instead run Bulk Up to patch your slightly lower Defense stat, and Roost to recover from injury. The worst part is that this thing is Normal type, meaning that the best thing to hit it on the Special side with is Focus Blast, and everything that gets that does not want to switch in on this thing. You could even run a support set with Rapid Spin, Toxic Spikes, Knock Off, and Roost if you wanted to mix things up. I don’t think Megos is balanced.
Skelyte:Anything with a 106177 in any stat is broken imo Skelyte seems really good. 177 Special Attack, reliable Grass coverage for Ground types, Fleur Cannon for Dark types, Thunderbolt, and either Poison Point to discourage contact or Turboblaze for ability ignoring. It also has reliable recovery. Even though it’s pretty slow, I don’t think it’s the most balanced here.
Falcola: A Water type with Water/Grass/Fire/Electric coverage, but no Ice coverage on the Special side. The Water move it has is Steam Eruption, but its SpA and Speed aren’t completely amazing. Its only potential setup is Clangorous Soul, and it could theoretically use Encore to help it use that, but that would require it forgoing a type of coverage, and it gets no reliable recovery. And, this is a meta with a ton of viable Electric types (and some things that can use Heart Swap). I think the meta can handle it.
