That's about it. Discussion phase has now begun!

Bealord: Not the greatest of typings, but it has Speed Boost with 159 Attack and a solid Speed stat. It may be ridiculously frail on the special side, but it's packing Swords Dance, and it can set up on physical mons. What's more, its Normal typing prevents Spectral Thief, and its Steel typing lets it edge past Baloon with STAB Anchor Shot. It even gets Thousand Arrows, Multi Attack, and Spirit Shackle for coverage. In other words, this would be banned just like Blaziken.

Marshodile: Good in Trick Room, decent special sponge, but when the meta is littered with powerful fast Electric types, you can't really thrive very well. It does have powerful options in terms of moves, but its pitiful physical bulk has nothing to really offset it, unlike Bealord who has Speed Boost.

Ostross: Wait, I've seen this one. Fast Flying type primarily used for support? A bit too much like Albatrygon, to be honest. While it is bulkier overall and has different options, I feel the two are much too similar to reasonably have both in the meta.

Specitile: NO. (Ghost wall with notably high Special Defense, but with still usable Defense and Cotton Guard, on top of Rough Skin punishing physical attackers, and reliable recovery and a usable Special Attack stat and Steam Eruption and Destiny Bond and Gastro Acid and Heal Bell and plenty of Fire coverage for the Steels that would want to absorb a Toxic. In other words, not a healthy addition.)

Dinosion: I feel like this is probably the best option, but I'm still apprehensive. It's very fast and has Regenerator, with respectable bulk and access to reliable recovery, Calm Mind, and coverage in Surf, Psyshock, and Techno Blast. What's more, it has access to physical utility options like Spectral Thief and Beak Blast, even though its physical power isn't very good. It can use these options on AV Regen sets, however, to accomplish the utility it's aiming for. Nothing too crazy, but it's definitely very viable.

Bealord: I agree that it's broken. Swords Dance + Speed Boost, a reasonable speed tier, 159 freaking Atk, and it will have a reasonably powerful STAB in Return. Although the situation where Anchor Shot allows it to get a bunch of free boosts is unlikely, it will still be BS when it happens. Also the dude gets omniboosting + Power Trip.

Marshodile:
It could probably function in Trick Room, where at least V-Create becomes a non-awkward coverage move, but in general I don't see stuff like Eruption, Psycho Boost, and Leaf Storm carrying this guy alongside Surf or Waterfall. It's also Pursuit bait, and will be a liability against physical attackers.

Ostross: Well it certainly looks a lot like Albatrygon ( well I doubt it looks anything like it ), but then again Magic Bounce and Sticky Web are arguably similarly broken. I don't really mind adding similar pokemon to a tier, as it can simplify teambuilding if they just have different niches. However, I'm leery of its workable bulk, King's Shield, and Magic Bounce, which just doesn't seem fun to play against.

Specitile: This thing is way too well minmaxed to be an unkillable wall. 112 / 101 with Rough Skin and Lava Plume and Steam Eruption in its arsenal is its weak side... no thanks.

Dinosion: This guy is also incredibly well minmaxed in the stats department and possessed of an all-around great typing, as well as a top tier ability in Regenerator. A fast Calm Mind patches up its weaker defense in many cases, making setup not too hard. It also has decent Def and recovery, and is faster than the whole tier. It's downsides are not hitting that hard ( Something like Eartharoo, Crazefly, and Glacida probably handle it well ) and lack of anti-Steel coverage outside of Surf, or Burn Drive Techno Blast. Might be fine but I'm pretty suspicious of it.

Time for my thoughts...

Swords Dance or Omniboosting alongside Speed Boost alone would make many Pokemon at least decent, but to top it off this thing has some great coverage options and some pretty decent stats for the job as well, bar its poor special bulk. I don't think said special bulk or its offensive typing being not the best will stop this thing from being ridiculous.

First off I'd like to bring up how hilarious this thing would be with Contrary, since it gets V-Create, Leaf Storm, and Psycho Boost. That would probably be very broken. It unfortunately does not get Contrary though, and we're left with something that looks kinda lacking in all honesty. Technician boosted Bullet Punch is fun but other than most of its special coverage looks pretty awkward, and although physical sets could be fine I don't think they would be particularly good either.

Yeah I agree with everything that was already said about this one. Similar to Albatrygon, but I imagine there will be a lot of teams that would use Ostross that wouldn't use Albatrygon and vice versa, so I can't say that one invalidates the other at all. It does look annoying though, and I would understand not voting it, but it looks like a solid but not broken utility Defogger to me.

Yeah no I just don't like this thing's stats at all, especially on top of stuff like Rough Skin, Heal Bell, and Foul Play, among other things. Looks way too bulky overall.

Looks really good, possibly enough to concern me but I still don't know. Despite somewhat lacking coverage its STAB combo is pretty good, despite lacking power it has Calm Mind to make up for it to an extent, and on top of this it has amazing stats to compliment everything else. I expect this thing to run Defensive Regen sets and Calm Mind sets viably, although the fact that it lacks power and the fact that its defensive typing isn't perfect might hold it back a bit. A big concern I have though is that its typing, bulk, and Regenerator might make it extremely difficult for defensive teams to break...but I dunno. Either way looks like something that's a lot of fun to use.

I'm going to be making an effort as a whole to make there less of a wait between phases, so I'll be starting voting tomorrow!

None

I like Dinosion, I really do, but I feel like most of these have a risk of becoming this meta's powercreep. The other two don't really stand out that much to me. So I feel like putting these guys back on the shelf and grabbing a new selection. However, I'm not sure if anyone else agrees with me, and if I were to vote for the selections here, I'd go with Dinosion.

I almost would have been ok with this idea for a Contrary user, but there's too much it can do. It in addition to having a nice offensive type, has STAB Mach Punch, Wish off of 185 HP, and wide coverage that includes Icicle Spear, Bone Rush, Megahorn, and Fusion Bolt. Lets not have this thing get in.
Were not messing arround with Imposter, especially on something like that. BH can handle Imposter thanks to no movepool restrictions, but with the restrictions, this is an easy no for me.
The offensive stats are a bit high, and it comes with Magnet Pull + Stomping Tantrum to take Steels out. Very concerning to let in for me.
This thing sucks. Offenses are low, defenses are weird, typing isn't great, abilies do very little for it. I'd say no just out of how much this stinks. At least it can run mixed sets with Sun-bosted Growth?
Offensive stats are really nice, but the abilities are lacking. Still, it has Lava Plume as a nice coverage and has room to run some nice things like Mach Punch or Super Fang. Overall, this would be the one that I feel would be the safest inclusion.

Time for some thoughts of my own:

Koareon: Not smart to pick this one. All of its abilities have some application, with Contrary being the most broken thanks to Superpower, it has reliable recovery and great utility, and it has minmaxed stats and a good typing.

Irobug: CoolMan already touched on Imposter, but this thing can also trap things with Anchor Shot and wear them down with Fire Lash and Shadow Force. All while being immune to Toxic and without fear of Rocky Helmet thanks to Long Reach. If this thing got in and Imposter were banned, it could be pretty solid, but I'm not sure if we should consider ability bans for these mons. Also, we already have a Steel/Bug type.

Elenium: The niches this thing has have already been sort of taken by other mons in this meta. We have fast powerful Electric types and a Magnet Pull mon that has better Fire and Ground moves for the Steels it's trapping. I hardly think it's broken or underwhelming, but it might not be used over the other mons in the tier.

Hyperoach: Not gonna lie, this thing's best set is Scarf Explosion. Sure its stats are mediocre at best, but Scarf with Return/U-Turn/Explosion/Filler (Earth Power, Sunsteel Strike, Ice Beam, Night Daze, Fling) could prove viable. Oh yeah, this thing can also run Conversion paired with Explosion to run both a potential nuke (Z-Explosion) and a solid buff (Z-Conversion). I can respect this thing's potential, and if it turns out to be awful, it's not the fault of its movepool, which means it could potentially receive a viable Mega.

Huntibou: Grass/Ghost glass cannon? It feels like a different version of Koatric, so it would probably be fine. I don't feel too strongly for or against it, honestly.

Big nope on the first two, as others have already stated.

Elenium: This thing is underrated I think. Fusion Bolt / Crunch is a great dual STAB type, and its combo of Atk and Spe is very above average for the tier. Toxic Spikes looks reasonably effective thanks to there being only two Poison types, with Stuneleon looking very niche. Pair that with Magnet Pull to threaten the Steel types that aren't affected by T-Spikes ( and Electric type to hit Fliers I guess ) and it could be a very self sufficient offensive hazard setter. That said I don't love the idea of two Magnet Pull users in the tier.

Hyperoach: Probably bad but hear me out:
Hyperoach @ Normalium Z
Desolate Land
252 SpA / 252 Spe, Timid
-Earth Power
-Ice Beam
-Mind Blown / Growth
-Conversion

Once you shed that typing then the big HP and SpD might be handy.

Also top tier name.

Huntibou: Very similar to Eartharoo and Electritar, and arguably not as good. Its support movepool is nearly non-existent, meaning it's likely running a choice item or 3 attacks + Recover. Seems like a solid addition, even if its not very exciting.

I largely agree with Scoop here about this one, but I have a few other things to add as well. This thing is actually super fragile and not too hard to outspeed and it has a good amount of defensive counterplay between our ridiculous Physical walls so I don't think any one team archetype could have overwhelming issues with it. If you want to beat this thing defensively, any of our mixed walls (Anteros, Glacida, Gorilax) would work if invested in Defense against a mixed set, and Baloon and Brawnkey wall any purely physical set. The fact that it has Toxic Spikes is really nice and could help it beat all of those Pokemon except Anteros, but just like Scoop, I don't know if I want two Magnet Pull users here. Although I have a feeling that Flamyle will be a better trapper while Elenium is a better Pokemon on its own, I can't say for certain.

Easily my favorite of the bunch. I've run Swords Dance + Z-Explosion Silvally in OU before as kind of a meme, but it actually wasn't the worst thing out there- it was an okay hole puncher thanks to STAB on Explosion and its Z-Move, but it was let down by its lackluster stats and the fact that it gets completely shut down by Steels and Ghosts. This thing still gets shut down by Steels and Ghosts, especially Voltecta. This thing's special bulk is good and its Speed stat is workable, and it has a STAB U-Turn as well that might not be that bad for luring in Steels for Flamyle. But to give an idea of how well this thing does at punching holes, Baloon needs to be fully invested in HP AND DEFENSE to take +2 Z-Explosion. This thing's lackluster Physical Bulk and Speed might let it down, as would the fact that it might require Flamyle and it would still not do great against Voltecta, but I think it might be worthwhile for some teams to run it.

Huntibou's alright. Although its movepool is really lacking, it gets good enough mileage off of is good Grass/Ghost/Fire neutral coverage and its stats back that up nicely. This would be the 4th fastest Pokemon in the metagame, only after Albatrygon, Koatric, and Electritar of course. However, this thing is completely shut down by Pidgeotine and needs to catch Ninjoth on the switch with Lave Plume (or HP Fighting?) to not instantly die to Pursuit, and I imagine it might be very prediction-reliant for that reason. Still definitely looks solid though.

That's about it! I'll be starting voting tomorrow!
