That's about it! Discussion phase has begun. Also thought it was worth mentioning that I have a Komodith sprite, but it's not entirely done yet. After a few people gave me some criticism on it, I spent an hour of a long car ride home changing it...and I guess I forgot to save, because the changes aren't appearing for me. I still have the unfinished version below for those of you who want to see...

184896
- I'm still going to make this bigger and make the tail longer, change the claws, and change the shading for the dark gray parts to make it easier to distinguish the front from the back.

Venomish seems meta-defining but not OP. Unaware mon with Haze, Roost and WoW seems cool. Magic Bounce is also good.

Whirlnea is broken. 153 SpA/152 Spe with STAB Water Spout, STAB Ice Beam, and for coverage Boomburst, Light of Ruin/Fleur Cannon, Focus Blast and Fire Blast. Plus STAB Water Shuriken if it needs to beat priority users. Mostly useless abilities but with stats and movepool like that, who cares?

Dinosair is a slow mixed attacker, which is the equivalent of saying it looks like garbage. Pixilate and its diverse movepool may prove me wrong, but I doubt it.

Ostria is my favorite. Slow with bad typing initially, but has 141 Atk and can change type with Protean and a very diverse set of powerful moves.

Magmaster is also broken. 129/155/127 bulk with Strenght Sap, Slack Off and Aromatherapy. Plus Perish Song and Spiky Shield for certain sets. On top of that, Serene Grace Force Palm with its 60% Paralysis chance, and it gets STAB on that for what it's worth. To top it off, 60% flinch chance with Zing Zap to annoy anything slower than base 93.

Venomish: Good bulky mon with setup, recovery, and a nice diverse movepool. Not sure the meta needs another bulky Fighting type, but this one is a bit different from Gorilax, especially with its solid abilities.

Whirlnea: This is literally just the special version of Armaros with Ice instead of Steel. Are we sure it didn't just put on some glasses with a mustache and jumble its stats a bit just to return again?

Dinosair: First off, excellent movepool. However, it isn't notable when compared to the current Dragon in the meta, Komodith, which is due to its stats and lack of a secondary typing. Even Dolphena would have been about as much of a viable Dragon as this thing.

Ostria: The national bird of Austria. Slow Protean and a great movepool to abuse it (including Fake Out!). Strat with this thing is going to be Fake Out to switch typing quickly, followed by changing to the type you need directly afterword. In other words, this thing acts as a better Kecleon.

Magmaster: This name is quite possibly the most top tier name ever. It's quite an odd Pokemon, however. A fantastic defensive stat spread with a movepool that gives it whatever it could ask for, but it has an offensive typing that doesn't offer it much in terms of defense. Strength Sap probably drives this thing over the edge, but if it weren't for that one move, I would say it would probably have been balanced.

My thoughts
Magic Bounce/Unaware
104/105/150/106/86/49
Slightly concerning, as it seems a bit too op, but it's typing may bite it.
121/128/79/119/77/76
Dinosaur Dinosair seems really underwhelming. Given a lack of speed boosting, no recovery move that's not hp draining, there's not a lot to do to make it really threatning.
Flying/Grass
Ooh cool type. I wanna see what it can do with i
Oh...
That's a huge coverage movepool with Protean and a high attack stat to use it with. Probably still underwhelming, but most likely the safest option to go for.

Ranked from least favorite to favorite in my opinion

5. Whirlnea- Super strong and fast Special Attacker with STAB Water Spout seems way too good.
4. Magmaster- Insane bulk as well as having access to Strength Sap is a broken combination.
3. Dinosair- Instead of being too good, i think that Dinosair isn't good enough. It seems like it will be outclassed by Komodith if it is chosen
2. Venomish- Its on the cusp of being too good, but i think it's balanced out with its weaker Special Bulk, low speed, and bad matchups agains Kinesel, Crazefly, and Eartharoo.
1. Ostria- Ostria is the most interesting and balanced of all of the options in my opinion. It's similar to Kecleon in the base game, except with much higher stats and better coverage. It is slow and lacks in priority besides Fake Out, but a Hone Claws set with HJK and Sacred Fire could be really interesting.

I was gonna post this once I've finished my Komodith sprite, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet and I don't want you all to wait any longer...with that being said, voting slate has now started.

I will not be voting this time around.

Is the point of the Fakemon to be as good as they possibly can be with their stats?

No, the point is for them to fit into the current meta on the spreadsheet as good as possible. So nothing broken or underpowered.

Apologies for not having posted over the past few days. Ostria obviously won the votes, since it got 1st vote from ALL of the voters. I'm adding that to the spreadsheet.

Onto the next slate, where we have what I think is the single lowest stat so far in this thread...

185776
185777
- I may go back and touch up a few more things later, I finished this at midnight so I may not have noticed a few things that may be wrong with it. Next on my list is Flamyle, I actually have an old concept I can change up a bit for this, and I think you all may be surprised to see what I've come up with.

That's about it. Discussion phase has now begun!

Elecelope: Stats that are contrary to what the name and typing would make you expect. Bulky with reliable recovery, Grass coverage, Coil and Cosmic Power, Leech Seed, and Beak Blast. Also Sticky Web. Could be a good Trick Room abuser, especially with Turboblaze, but I personally don't like it due to how not Electric or antelope this thing is.

Doomster: Whoa, an abuser of Quick Feet that would actually use Flame Orb (unlike Jolteon). In exchange for some burn damage, it can outspeed whatever you'd need to and deal some solid damage. Its bulk isn't anything to sneeze at either, and it can use Slack Off to increase its own longevity. However, it's threatened by Fairies and countered by Pidgeotine (even with Ice Beam), and its coverage isn't absurd, so I think it would likely be balanced. (Also, if this thing ends up in the meta, I can nickname it Akumtaro)

Ninjoth: Its high Special Defense and good Attack, paired with Swords Dance, good coverage and moves like Knock Off, and having Rattled while resisting two of the types that provide boosts makes for at least an interesting mon. However, its Ice/Dark typing and low defense on top of its relatively mediocre speed makes it fall prey to certain Fighting types in the meta, as well as faster Fairies and Steels, which usually can take it on. Could be interesting.

Chimida: Same problem as with Magmaster (high bulk with Strength Sap), but this time with an offensive presence. Also, it has low Speed with Trick Room. And Light of Ruin as a Fairy type. And Calm Mind to pair with Strength Sap. It even gets Transform with its high HP stat. In other words, probably a bad idea.

Skelekey: Spooky, scary, low SpD! It is better than Baloon's pitiful SpD, especially considering it has more HP, and it's also faster. While technically having a lower offensive stat than Baloon, it gets Nasty Plot and Calm Mind. It even gets Moonlight to heal with. Is there a catch? Well, you can count its usable special moves on one hand. However, with Effect Spore shenanigans and really high Defense, Hex might wind up a really powerful option. Really cool name, but might be just a little much for the meta.

Alright, time for my post...

I actually really liked Elecelope at first glance, confusing name aside. Those stats are super interesting, and a somewhat defensive Pokemon that's a pure Electric-type sounds pretty fun, right? Although I imagine it could compete with Voltecta because they're both Electric walls with good defenses on both sides, it still looks like it could stand out in one way. As a pure wall it may not work despite having Clear Smog and maybe Leech Seed just because its typing does it very few favors, and I only really think Sticky Web would fit on the hyper offensive teams this thing would not fit on, this thing could still work as a late-game cleaner with Coil. An Electric move is a given, as are Coil and a coverage move, but none of its coverage options are amazing with Electric on their own and it would want to run Milk Drink as well. It looks perfectly balanced but any given team won't want both Elecelope and Voltecta, so I'm not a huge fan.

Honestly looks like a really nice Quick Feet cleaner, but nothing broken. It's actually not very strong despite 133 Special Attack though due to lack of boosting item and low base power STAB moves; even if it runs Modest it only 4HKOs Physdef Gorilax...but that's the Pokemon I think it'd do worst against. It hits a lot of things super effectively between Dark/Fighting/Ice coverage, and although it may need its opponents to be worn down a good bit, it could find itself very useful as a cleaner. Another thing it has going for it is a possible defensive set, which would likely run Slack Off, Stealth Rock, and any of Nature's Madness, Acid Spray, U-Turn, or Dark Pulse. If this gets in it could easily compete with Glacida or Gorilax, which definitely isn't ideal. One thing that could go against it is the fact that we already have four fighting Pokemon, but otherwise this looks fine.

While Chillvark looks like a Special Wallbreaker that could use its great coverage and Sheer Force to make up for its lack of Speed or bulk, Ninjoth looks like a slower breaker that has one thing that may separate it from Chillvark easily: Pursuit. Pursuit currently only traps Crazefly and Koatric, and it sets up really dangerous 50/50s with stuff like Voltecta and Pidgeotine. I don't want to bank on it trapping more than that so I'm still unsure whether or not Pursuit alone is enough of a reason to vote for it, but it also does have a lot of great physical options like Swords Dance, Thunder Punch / Wild Charge, Diamond Storm, and its STAB moves (it gets STAB Knock Off!) which will definitely make it better than Chillvark on the physical side. Looks somewhat interesting honestly.

If Magmaster's bulk with Strength Sap was enough to keep it out of the meta, then this thing is a million times worse. Strength Sap on top of bulk very very similar to Magmaster, as well as having a significantly better typing and access to Calm Mind is a big fat "no" from me.

This thing has pretty decent speed, insane physical bulk (again) and access to Nasty Plot and decent enough coverage in STAB Ghost + Fire + Water. I'm sure it's going to get plenty of setup opportunities with said bulk, and it also happens to have the perfect coverage to hit all of our specially bulky Pokemon super effectively, bar Pidgeotine who is somewhat prone to being worn down. Looks a bit broken if you ask me.

Also forgot to mention that I apparently made an Electritar sprite earlier but I don't remember it at all...

185993
185994
- Not my favorite thing I've made but it doesn't look too bad. Could probably improve this in a few places but I honestly can't tell where. I guess this is its design for now though.

That's about it! I'll leave discussion open for a few more days, then voting will begin!

I'm ending voting before too long! Vote if you haven't already!

That's about it. I haven't finished with the Flamyle sprite yet, that'll probably still take me a while. Other than that, discussion phase has started!

Been mostly away from Smogon lately but I'm back and here to give my thoughts...

This honestly just looks like "better Scorpita" to me...similar enough coverage except this is significantly stronger and hits Gorilax super effectively at the cost of being able to hit Stuneleon and Giranium super effectively, and Stuneleon would probably die to HP Ground anyways since it's pretty fragile on the Special side.. Swords Dance sets would be really interesting due to great coverage and Speed but kind of underwhelming Attack, but I honestly think that special sets would outdo physical ones, and it looks like a directly better version of a Pokemon we already have. Not a huge fan.

The toaster looks really really annoying for defensive teams, but not completely unmanageable. Giranium and Baloon both wall it pretty hard, and Voltecta and Brawnkey still do a pretty decent job at checking it even if it can't switch in repeatedly. Its Speed tier is great for doing even better against defensive teams, and although its speed leaves it worse off against offense it does have Shadow Shield...even then though that's assuming hazards aren't up, which isn't always an easy condition to meet. I would be scared of a Scarf set if anything, it outspeeds the entire unboosted meta while still hitting pretty hard. Looks to definitely be on the stronger end.

First off I should say that I mistakenly gave it Power Gem in place of one of its moves although it already had Power Gem in another slot, so I generated another move and it got Knock Off. My mistake.

That doesn't fix anything, though. This thing has great bulk without recovery or utility to back it, very little offensive presence, and a pretty bad typing. It has Sticky Web, Endeavor, and Lunar Dance, but Albatrygon is a much better Webs lead. I wouldn't use this.

Looks really similar to Toastar, but there are a few differences obviously. The most obvious one is that it trades a little bit of Speed and HP for a significantly lower HP stat and higher Defenses, which makes its stat spread worse than Toastar. Toastar's Speed tier is already not the best but this thing has an outright bad Speed tier, with it failing to outspeed most Pokemon in the metagame. They have similar coverage, but Herbigator loses a Fairy STAB in exchange for Earthquake, which gives it a worse matchup against Brawnkey, but a better one against Voltecta. It also has, in my opinion, a much better movepool outside of attacking moves thanks to Trick and Rock Polish. Trick sets are worse nowadays but still decently effective, and Rock Polish could make it into a decent cleaner. It might not be the hardest thing to set up Rock Polish with, since its bulk is effectively around 90/90/70, so it's probably gonna be possible for it to take one hit without dying, which would be all it needs in a lot of scenarios. Definitely looks balanced, but whether or not you vote this may come down to whether or not you think the toaster is balanced.

I should mention before I go over anything else that Illusion seems like a really annoying ability, but I don't really have any experience playing against it so I don't know. On paper it looks like an ability that you'd need skill to use but I've seen CAP nerf Aurumoth because of it and I've seen a Pokemon fangame remove it from a Pokemon for balancing purposes...but those I feel might be different. I don't know how much of a competitive scene the fangame had behind it, if it even had one, and Aurumoth had setup moves which may make a misplay versus that different than a misplay versus this.

Illusion aside though this thing looks really difficult to switch into... Gorilax does not switch in on a Life Orb Psycho Boost unless it's fully SpDef, and Pidgeotine doesn't do particularly well either. Giranium and Komodith make it so it can't just click Psycho Boost and leave for free, but combine that with Flamyle and you suddenly become extremely difficult to deal with. All of this on top of its Speed make it look like a pretty broken Pokemon without even considering Illusion. I'm not voting for this.

I'm gonna open voting tomorrow, so if you have anything else to say before then, feel free to say so now!

Herbigator, Bacross

Since there wasn't much discussion I'll post my thoughts.

Herbigator's huge Atk seems balanced out by low speed and somewhat awkward STAB types. Head Smash is hilarious. Top tier name, too.

Bacross has very impressive offenses but it's Flying/Poison/Fire coverage is resisted by Rock, and it is frailer than many of the sweepers you might compare it to ( like Eartharoo, Aquazelle, Electritar, and Scorpita ). I disagree about it outclassing Scorpita, who has 118 / 96 / 66 bulk, Z-Hold Hands, and most importantly Earth Power to stand out.

I didn't want to vote Toatrix because of the combo of that massive Atk and Shadow Shield, while having decent 100 Speed seems to check too many boxes. Its coverage seems lacking until you see Thousand Waves in the non-viable section. Could be wrong but not a fan.

Why did Rhinocith have to get Sticky Web? To a lesser extent Glare too; I like the massive fat Rock-type, but I don't want a pokemon that eats every hit before setting Sticky Web; or better yet, Glares your best attempt to 2HKO it at the start of the game and renders Sticky Web a moot point ( Ribombee anyone? ).

Catebite is an Illusion, it's actually a pre-nerf Aurumoth, I recommend keeping your distance.
