The Bird with the dumb name: Seems... interesting. STAB Beak Blast and Iron Barbs is at odds with the huge speed and low physical bulk, but the only other good STAB available is the weak Drill Peck. Or you could go special with Aeroblast, Overheat, and, uh, Seed Flare? The physical coverage seems much more solid. HOWEVER, this will be a pretty neat suicide lead with access to Sticky Web, Memento, and Rapid Spin. With Iron Barbs and a STAB attack it would be both a great lead and an anti lead. This is something I would vote for

Crocodos:
annoying specially defensive fast pivot. Poison heal and parting shot just leave a bad taste in my mouth. No vote

Wolvectric:
A balanced and generic physical attacker. Cool type combo and interesting abilities (More crits or making status not as bad? Both are pretty low impact but interesting). Would vote but not super interesting

extreme vileplume:
Seems like a cool stall option. Amazing special attack and special defense alongside magic bounce is cool. Low HP and shitty physical defense alongside a low speed probably balances it. Meh

Porcumite:
Boring. Fine bulk, especially with intimidate, but low attack and no great boosting options (Bulk Up I guess) makes this out to be likely unviable. Meh

Albatrygon is by far the most interesting. The combination of Beak Blast and Focus Punch makes for some interesting mind games against mons that use contact moves. Plus that utility with high speed and Sticky Web + Memento.

Crocodos is cool. Too cool, maybe.

Wolvectric is painfully average. Mediocre abilities, mediocre stats. 4 of its moves are recovery moves, and 2 of those are virtually the same move. Its offensive options aren't too bad though, with Super Luck Scope Lens Spacial Rend and Leaf Blade guaranteed to crit. If it turns out to be below average, we could easily fix it with a Mega Evolution.

Gazeplume has solid defensive options, plus that gargantuan Xurkitree-like SpA combined with Photon Geyser, Boomburst, Pollen Puff and Sparkling Aria for coverage (the two last ones aren't listed as viable but are still 90 BP moves). If it had reliable recovery, it would be cancer. As it is, it just seems annoying.

Porcumite is ehhh. Considering it gets Intimidate, it seems like the best candidate for getting Mega Evolution in the Pet Mod so far.

Albatrygon is pretty good!Imteresting coverage,Decent Attacking Stats,STICKY WEB,and Can try to set up sun to abuse!Prrtty versatile imo!
Crocodos is an interesting one as well, with coverage such as hyper voice and extrasensory as well as Parting Shot. I rrally like it.
Wolvetric seems a bit broken imo.Marvel scale is way too good and that physical coverage is great as well
Gazeplume Can be annoying. This thing can be defensive or offensive under TR. Also that physical coverage is such a waste.
And lol Porcumite

Posting these a bit earlier than usual.

I'm absolutely voting this thing as my first pick. The stars just aligned so perfectly with this Pokemon...it has a great speed tier, hazard removal in Rapid Spin, momentum generation in Memento, a perfect hazard for a lead in Sticky Web. It also happens to have various smaller perks that I could see a suicide lead enjoying, like Beak Blast, Skill Swap, Iron Barbs, and maybe other things like Mirror Coat or, if the meta calls for it, Sunny Day with Chlorophyll or maaaybe Foresight to prevent spinblocking. I honestly can't believe it just has so much stuff that a suicide lead loves to have like this, and I'm not sure if we'll ever get the opportunity to get something like this again, and in a meta like this that may end up being offensively-oriented, this thing is going to be great, but not broken in any way.

I spent the whole time looking for whether or not this thing had access to a recovery move, and sure enough, it doesn't. It honestly looked like a pretty interesting Pokemon at that point, but then I looked back over everything and saw it had Parting Shot. With such lopsided defensive stats like this, it's gonna force a lot of switches, and Parting Shot combined with this sounds kinda ridiculous for a pivot that's already pretty resistant to hazards and is immune to status.

It's also hilarious that this thing gets Misty Terrain and can set it on itself to prevent Poison Heal from activating, for what that's worth.

Looks really lacking at first glance, then I see it has Marvel Scale for a defense buff off of Flame Orb, recovery, and Calm Mind, which could all be run in one set to create what would most likely be a complete gimmick. You'd probably be at least okay after one turn of setup, but it'd probably be difficult to find that one turn of setup with those defenses in this meta especially. It's a shame how much wasted potential this thing has, honestly. Ghost/Electric is literally the perfect typing to break through all of our special walls, and our physical walls can't handle special attacks, except for like Glacida. It's just not strong enough though.

Pretty iffy on this one. Its special bulk will definitely give it many free switchin opportunities, and its physical bulk is kinda lacking but it can definitely patch it up at least a little bit (except for opposing Baloon) with Intimidate. Not too long ago I made a post with a few sets mentioning that Poison would be a great offensive typing in the current meta, and this thing would just be able to spam Poison moves and it'd already be tough enough to deal with, but it also has Photon Geyser for Glacida. There IS defensive counterplay for it as of now, and I'm sure it's not gonna be too terribly hard to wear down, but it's kinda limited and doesn't at all seem consistent, and I never know how to feel with things like that.

This thing is just not fast or strong enough... I could see this being an okay Bulk Up user, but it's just too specially frail as well. It'd probably be really predictable and easy to force out. Looks too underwhelming for me to vote for.

That's about all for now. I won't make you all wait as long for voting to start this time, assuming nobody else posts after me. Thanks for reading!

Albatrygon: Not sure on this one. It's a badish pokemon that learns Sticky Web which is fine, but it has 151 Speed, Rapid Spin, and Memento; this suggests a very specific lead strategy which doesn't really excite me; at least not when the hazard is Sticky Web. Aquatopus already sets Webs anyway, although we're probably destined for multiple Web setters courtesy of the fact that it is just as likely to pop up as any other move. Like many other roulettemons, it has an omniboosting Z-move in its unviable moves.

Crocodos: Pretty interesting special pivot with Poison Heal, massive SpD, and Parting Shot. Poison Heal / Mind Blown is pretty interesting to me, but might not be worth it. Poison Heal always has the capacity to make things annoying, but at the same time its nice to have in a tier where we have a Corrosion user. I'm not convinced it's not broken though, as that SpD + Poison Heal will just shut down a lot of pokemon.

Wolvectric: I think this is really cool but it would probably struggle due to mediocre stats. An offensive Ghost / Electric with Rapid Spin is reminiscent of Rotom, but it's physically biased ( in roulettemons that typing gets great auto-STAB moves on the physical side which is the opposite of normal ). Superpower and Leaf Blade are nice coverage moves, too. I think its just a bit too weak, though, especially with only 98 base speed and non-uber defenses on both sides.

Gazeplume: This thing has just a few too many things in combination for me to like it. Namely Magic Bounce + massive SpD + Kings Shield sounds like it would support brainless switch-ins and 50-50 guessing games. The gigantic SpA means you can get punished even worse for daring to put Stealth Rock on a special pokemon. Not my cup of tea. Take away Magic Bounce and Kings Shield and it would be pretty cool. It has Fire Pledge and Sparkling Aria in its unviable moves.

Porcumite: This guy just doesn't do anything. It's stats call for a good support movepool but it doesn't get one. Ground/Fighting is not a good typing; just look at Pulla in E4E, who in my experience has been decidedly mid despite it's great stats, and mostly because it has a lot of weaknesses and its dual STAB is mostly redundant. The most interesting move being Fire Lash is honestly hilarious because it's yet another anti-Steel coverage move on a mon who needs something to hit Flying types most of all.

Land's Wrath and Jump Kick are also in its unviable moves. It would never use them but I'm pointing these out because there are actually a lot of viable coverage moves ( and every omniboosting Z move ) in the unviable moves section. In fact it looks like more pokemon than not have received one of these Z moves, though I haven't checked all of them.

In other news, I would like to submit sprites for Pidgeotine.
178409
178410

A stubborn, rageful pigeon, which represents its high Special Defense stat. It simply refuses to lose, even when it's out of stamina. The light blue areas of the body (red in the shiny) contain a coolant meant to keep it from dying of stress caused by its fits of rage (this also allows it to use Ice attacks). Its talons are strong enough to rip earth out of the ground.

Gonna end voting tomorrow!

Also added Pidgeotine, as well as the shinies for Baloon and Crazefly, into the spreadsheet.

Voting is over, and the winner is Albatrygon! It has been added to the sheet, while the others were added to "rejected builds."

That's all I have to post here for now, so discussion phase has now started! I may not be able to post my thoughts since I may be busy over the next few days, but I'll try my best to.

Thoughts time.

Bonenea: Huge Power, with 117 Attack, and 160 Speed. It also has 163 Special Attack (so it can go mixed if it wants) and it gets STAB Precipice Blades. Along with Volt Tackle. And Sunsteel Strike. And Power Whip. Sure it's a glass cannon, but you can run this thing with LO and it steamrolls the meta. Big nope from me.

Bisow: A pretty run of the mill pick. You have high HP offset by moderate defenses, a high Speed and a good Special Attack stat. You also have moves like Volt Switch, Rapid Spin, Slack Off, maybe Z-Happy Hour, and of course, the Recycle Cheek Pouch combo. However, its moves seem to have a physical bias, which leaves it high and dry on the special side. Not terrible, but overall will end up most likely limited to a fast support role.

Komodith: Now here's something I can honestly get behind. Things lined up really well for it, all things considered. A Steel Dragon type with balanced offenses and defenses, with its HP and Speed still being at least mediocre. However, it also gets a solid movepool of Poison, Ground, Dark, Psychic, Fire, Grass, and Flying coverage in its movepool. It gets priority from Ice Shard, and Bulk Up for setup. However, if you go Special, you can utilize Water type Boomburst thanks to Liquid Voice. It does lack recovery, which could hurt it, but it's not entirely irrelevant.

Croslash: Very good on the physical side, but even D-Dance can't save it from being in a poor speed tier. Its only viable ability is Surge Surfer, which it isn't able to utilize at all due to not getting Electric Surge. Not my cup of tea. It'll just have to go back to being one of the things Cloud does.

Chillvark: I think this is another very good candidate for this slate. It has a phenomenal offensive typing, and enough Speed to be able to use it with some Web support. It can go mixed, but it will probably want to take advantage of its access to Ice Beam, Focus Blast, Blue Flare, Moonblast, and Judgment. Where this things truly shines, though, are its abilities. Sheer Force with the first four of those moves and a Life Orb turns this thing into Ice/Fighting Nidoking. It could also perform setup if it gets the chance with Simple Growth. And, the foe will at least have to keep Dazzling in mind when they fight against you. Bottom line, Chillvark is cool. Pun absolutely intended.

With Bonenea being by far the best, but also too good and thus unbalanced, Chillvark is the next best thing. A wide range of good sets.
Croslash and Komodith are pretty good too. Croslash will likely be less viable but more interesting once/if we get an Electric Surge mon.
Nothing to say about Bisow

Haven't really had much time to myself over this weekend, but something I should mention is that I'm not a huge fan of voting for something based on its merits as a candidate for mega evolution. We're most likely not going to give too many Pokemon mega evolutions, so it's best that we let the Pokemon that absolutely need them because they don't fit into the meta, because they don't quite meet the expectations set on paper, or because they're Chillyte to get them instead of things that were voted in because they could have good or interesting megas.

I'm going to start voting either tomorrow or the day after at around this time of day. Sorry for such a short post!

Voting has started! I may not vote, or I may edit my votes into this post, I'm not sure yet. As of right now though I haven't looked deeply enough into the Pokemon in the slate to get a good opinion on any of them.

Chillvark, Komodith, None

Also, I have made sprites for Kinesel and Aquazelle:
179700
179701

The design inspiration for this comes from the name, which is a shortening of "Kinetic" and "Weasel". It stores energy by bouncing around, then transforms the kinetic energy into its attacks. It is very playful, but stumbles often when trying to walk regularly due to its tiny feet (thus Unaware and Tangled Feet). Trace comes from its mysterious powers on a whole.
179698
179699

Aquazelle uses the pumps on its feet to absorb liquids to make travelling through marsh-like terrain more easy, and it can purify the liquid using power stored in its horns. It uses this for pure water storage, but if it needs to, it can shoot the water out for attacks. These same pumps also allow it to store hazardous material (thus Corrosion and Poison moves) and air (thus Aerilate) with no problem. When it travels across uncovered plains, it uses its water to cool itself off (thus Heatproof).

Ending voting tomorrow when I get home from a day trip!

It’s also worth mentioning that the almighty Baloon makes an appearance in Super Smash Mods! I know most/all of you in this thread follow that thread as well but I thought I’d bring it up for anyone who isn’t aware.

As of right now, there's a tie between Chillvark and Komodith. I haven't looked at either enough to form an opinion on either, and there's no reason for me to not accept both at once, so both Chillvark and Komodith will be added to the spreadsheet.

As for the next builds...
