Haha at the concerned swalot, that made me giggle

VERY creative fake-evolutions, especially the Delibird evo. "Delibird doesn't throw presents anymore, now it throws rocks and garbage because everyone treated it badly" Also VERY nice idea for its ability... Auto-rapid spin effect, except its just picking up trash.

Every Pokemon has a lot of really great personality and The tight shot is so animated and great~
All the Fakemon are really creative and aggressively designed. The Dunsparce evolution is probably the best Dunsparce evolution concept I've seen, and the Poliwrath is really intimidating.
Amazing stuff, dude. Are you going to color either of these?

Why make a normal/dragon?

Offensively:

Normal: Super effective: 0 Resisted/Immune: Ghost, Steel, Rock
Dragon: Super effective: Dragon Resisted/Immune: Steel

In other words, Dragon is completely superior to Normal offensive.


Defensively: As a normal type you get a fighting weakness and a ghost immunity. Meh, I'd rather be pure dragon.


Anyway, nice sketches :D

@ReyScarface: doodle + "final" + scan(my scanner sucks) + resize = around 40 minutes, if I try to color it will take around 2+ hours D;

@Rocket Grunt: thanks, I want to but the only software I know how to us eis fireworks, and coloring takes time, maybe someday, I think giving colours would really improve some aspects of the picture, and btw your thread is f amazing .__. very inspirational

@ChouToshio: the type was kinda random, and ther eis no normal/dragon poke so I´ve thought "why not?", but in gameplay pure dragon would be better

I´ve made some starters, I´m not really 100% happy with these guys but I need critiques if I want to make better fakes in future, fakes are hard to make, never know if they are too complex or just don't look like pokes, some starters like Charizard and Thyplosion are simple, Blaziken and Infernape are more complex so a "base" is hard to see

That platypus is awesome. I like the way you were able to make it look like a platypus and not a duck's head. The way you arranged the rocks on the body is pretty cool too.

And I wouldn't worry too much about the complexity. Your drawings are detailed but I wouldn't say they were any more complex in design then Venusaur or Torterra.
