SPOILERS! Scarlet & Violet Leaks Thread - Data/Mechanics

Does Pecharunt get CM + 160 Def and does Terapagos get Recover/ID/Cosmic/Amn/CM?
no calm mind for the peach, this thing's movepool is almost first stage bug small. a very precise movepool though

terapagos does get body press, and calm mind. and stored power. and both dazzling gleam and aura sphere for your dark-hitting move of choice. no recover or iron defense though (it does have... withdraw?)

In the theory, Terapagos grants people's wishes and supposedly the paradox Pokemon were all created by Terapagos using its wish granting powers when other characters thought of them.
It's a really dumb convoluted theory that only adds plotholes for a game meant for children. It got popular because a Poketuber made a video on it as a quick cash grab without asking why the Prof of the game wouldn't somehow know their time machine was an imagination machine. Because it's somehow easier to explain that than Sandy shocks having screws in its face in a game series where animals/monsters have manmade parts they evolved into having.
Not to mention ignoring how advertisements, merch, external media, and the game itself says its time travel. And no, the DLC1 ads said "Folktales claim Ogerpon is evil" which isn't a lie as ingame folktales do say Ogerpon is evil.
You forget that the game itself explicitly points out that the time machine is not the whole story, since as Arven points out Heath witnessed the Paradoxes centuries before his father/mother performed their experiments.

Also the very fact that they are called "Paradox" is a dead giveaway.

That's in addition to the fact that the only other thing hinting their existence is the Occult magazines which are of dubious validity in-universe, and in turns makes it clear that even in-universe how they came to exist is in dispute.

The fact that they are called "Paradox" implies that their existence in-universe makes no logical sense, and from Watsonian standpoint, they logically speaking shouldn't exist...and yet they do. Somehow.

Sada and Turo dreamed of "ancient Pokemon" and "future Pokemon" and that's what they got and perceived them to be. There's a good reason there why the Paradoxes are so homogenous and why one case is entirely dinosaur-like and another case is all cyborg/robots.

Why would the wish granting turtle not learn Wish or Healing Wish naturally? Jirachi learns it at level 1 and 56 respectfully. Ancient Power btfo theory even more because it's a time related move. And from my understanding the whole thing with Heath was that he just made up those Pokemon instead of seeing them for real.
Tbf, the Pokemon know to revive the dead doesn't learn Revivial Blessing. GF's goals are beyond our understanding

Ok, I agree the poketuber was dumb in calling it "wish granting" instead of just attributing it to imagination, but isn't time travel still an issue that even Arven highlights in the base game? Besides, if Heath just imagined them, then doesn't it still contradicts even official announcements that it's time travel anyway?

I'm sure that's for balance reasons at least. Ho-oh being an already great legendary would be extremely busted with revival blessing especially with it having regenerator too. It's probably why Zamazenta initially did not get Body Press either.
I don't see why Terapagos would not learn Wish or Healing Wish if it was a wish granting turtle. It wouldn't even have the biggest wishes in the game as Alomomola has higher HP than Terapagos's fattest form. There isn't mention of wish granting abilities in Terapagos's Pokedex entries either.

Wait so what does Dragon Cheer mean by rousing Dragon-types more?
I assume for non-Dragons it would be similar to Focus Energy, but how would it work for Dragons?
Crit stages are 0/+1/+2/+3, with respective crits chance 1/24 ; 1/8 ; 1/2 ; 1/1
Focus Energy gives +2
Scope Lens for example gives +1 (as well as high crit ratio moves)

So I'd assume Dragon Cheer gives +1 Crit to non-Dragons, and +2 Crit to Dragons
