The 48 hours is really a contingency period for the chancellor nom to come in and be voted on. If the Chancellor is elected through the vote or randomly, the period automatically ends.

Alright, scum, it's either now or tomorrow and I personally don't see a reason it can't be now. There's a bigger risk the game just ends if we let another liberal policy through because 3 liberal policies on a liberal president or 4 on any president becomes uncounterable. We also need this vote to increase the odds of a good president.
