Thank you! I'm glad that a few people like my art. I know I may not be an awesome artist, but I've really put a lot of effort into improving. I'll try my hardest to continue to get better, there are better things to come (especially now that I am getting used to my tablet). And thank you for the five stars, it means a lot!

So, I was just messing around on my tablet this afternoon and ended drawing some dude. I was trying out some charcoal and graphite, attempting to get the feel of it. I think it turned out pretty good; I hope you think so too!

No, I never wanted to name it. It was kind of like picking up a stray puppy from the street, you end up not wanting to name it because it would just get you more attached to it. Thank you for the support, and I am glad you liked it. Like all my other pieces of art, all the time and effort is worth it if at least one person liked it.

SO I think you should do more crazy atmospheric stuff like that Giratina, the purple CAP pokemon, etc, because it's a rad effect. In fact the CAP dudes you've done are especially good, nice action poses instead of just standin' around. When you add a background, even rudimentary, it kicks the intensity up quite a few notches, so the overall effect is quite nice.

I would be happy to draw a Jolteon for you! I am actually quite bad at drawing quadrupeds, but I will take advantage of this to try and get better at a couple of things that I want to work on. Thank you for the comments Shinxe, I actually try to make the poses I use as full of action as possible because that is usually as far as I get...But I really want to keep improving! Keep on the lookout for my next few pieces, I am going to try and implement the things you've told me. Maybe they won't come out that great, but that won't stop me from trying!

Sorry for the double post, but I really feel that this deserves another post.

I was looking through Smeargle's Studio and was redirected by Orugos to an artist by the name of OVAPACK. My mind was blown, complete brain splatter on the wall behind me. If you haven't taken a look at his art, it is truly breath taking. His paintings are all so detailed and beautiful, in particular though I was attracted to his dragons. Each one has so much personality, it really inspired me to pick up the the pace on my own work. Recently I've found myself in an artistic slump, but this was exactly what I needed to get back in the game.

So I started sketching, subconsciously affected by those awesome dragons. The result? A completely unfinished sketch! The thing is though, unlike some of the incredible artists here, I am still a very "young" artist. I am still trying to figure things out, the painting programs, different brushes, and even coloring in general.

Long story short, I saw some awesome paintings, got inspired, drew some stuff, and wrote about it...

I know it's not much, but it has been such an awesome experience working on this one. I really just wanted to share...So here it is!

It's supposed to be an enormous dragon outfitted with some armor. The main characteristic that I feel makes him special is the mouth. It starts at it's head and continues up it's neck for quite a ways. Just a little tidbit of my inspiration...

I've been working on and off on my weird dragon dinosaur thing and I think I've made some very respectable progress on it, considering the time I've invested. The thing is, I am really starting to hate quadrupeds! I have been trying to get the left hind leg done on this guy for like half an hour, but to no avail! I really want to move on and finish this guy, so could you guys give me any suggestions? Hopefully there is some quadruped expert in the studio that can help a fellow artist out =)

Comments, critiques?

Wow, that thing looks pretty neat. The armor makes me think that it's either an intelligent being or has been domesticated somewhat. About the hind leg there; I'm no expert, but what you could do is look up pictures of quadruped animals on google or something. You can find out what position it would be in in that stance, and then just draw it on there in relation to your own creature's legs.

Hope that helps!
