SP Shared Power

Be cursed the limitions of our format! My mind conceived the idea of a Runerigus slaking team, but I soon discovered the use of runerigus was not allowed in our format! This discovery made me so furious that soon enough after it the 18th century European man that dwelled inside me took control over me! This infliction will only be cured once a national dex version of our format will come into our homeland of showdown.

btw that wouldnt work cuz wandering spirit only swaps itself and not other abilities shared on it

There is currently a major bug where abilities that reveal themselves (eg: drought, intimidate, harvest) do not share.

Hopefully will be patched soon.

OK, so I can assume that the list of restricted abilities at the beginning of this thread is generally accurate? Asking because I've been introduced to this format recently and I was confused by a couple of abilities not being shared as intended.

The restricted list on PS and here is correct afaik. You might have been using an ability that is coded to be mon specific such as Poison Puppeteer, Tera Shell, Embody Aspect, and transformation abilities, but its probably just due to said bugged abilities.

actully this made me wonder how does skill swap work in in this format?
only swaps the users abilitiy and the opponents ability, eg cresselia skill swapping on basculegion will give it adaptability, but adaptability will not be shared to your team. Same goes for trace.

Its also answered on the first page of this forum.

Hi there! Long time lurker, first time poster. Been playing Shared Power every once in a while since Gen 7, but never got around to actually trying to make my own teams until now. I got to Top 3 using this team built around Dragon's Maw Arceus-Dragon.

The team relies on Arceus and Dragapult getting the sweep, so keeping them healthy and drawing out the Tera early is key. Getting pummeled by priority sucks too, but I haven't found that to be as big of a problem once I added Houndstone.

(EDIT: I posted a more comprehensive breakdown here.)

Bronzong is almost always the suicide lead. Kasib Berry means that I can't get KO'd by lead Houndstone Poltergeist once it gets eaten. I get Stealth Rock up against anything that isn't Taunt Lycanroc, while I try to go down as fast as possible with Steel Beam (though I really miss having Explosion). Future Sight is there for when I'm coming up against something slower, and can afford the free turns to set it up. Flash Cannon is basically never clicked.

heatran.png.m.1733184959
AV Heatran is there to shore up the Fluffy weakness, as well as being a blanket check to Comfey, Fairies, and other SpAttackers. I don't run Earth Power since any Ground weak in this meta is supported by an immunity already, so Ancient Power is there to fish for boosts against opposing Heatran. Dragon Pulse is boosted by Dragon's Maw, so that's nice to have for Giratina especially. EV'd to be just faster than non-Scarf max Speed Houndstone.

houndstone.png.m.1733184959
Trick Choice Scarf Houndstone is for helping cripple defensive Pokes. Shadow Sneak is my most clicked move, for picking off weakened targets. This one is really just for donating Fluffy, as well as having some form of priority.

arceus.png.m.1733184959
As soon as I saw Arceus-Dragon was not banned, I wanted to build around him. Double Dance works because Arceus is decently bulky even without investment, giving me a lot of chances to set up. Aura Sphere is for Steel Tera users, while Dragon's Maw Judgement 2HKOs most neutral targets that aren't Clodsire and Chansey (though, with Steel Tera and Levitate, Clodsire is rarely a threat). I often find that just clicking Agility is enough to run away with the game, while keeping my own Steel Tera handy for any priority in the back.

dragapult.png.m.1733184959
Dragapult is the second Dragon's Maw abuser, but donating Infiltrator is not unsubstantial. Dragon Darts breaks sashes and avoids Fluffy. Dragon Dance and Substitute are for playing around switches and Sucker Punch. Tera Blast Steel is for the other dragon's bane, Fairy Tera users. Figuring out whether the opponent will Tera Steel or Fairy is key, since I'm clicking Tera on either Arceus or Dragapult 99% of the time.

regidrago.png.m.1733184959
Regidrago donates Dragon's Maw, the only damage boosting ability in this whole team. Loaded Dice Scale Shot is my main form of damage, and with max Speed, helps me outrun a surprising amount of Pokes. If you pick something off with Scale Shot, you can outspeed the next turn and hit what comes in with a full power Dragon Energy too, so that's nice. You can even follow it up with a Draco Meteor after. Explosion is there for when Regidrago has done all of its breaking.

The team relies on Arceus and Dragapult getting the sweep, so keeping them healthy and drawing out the Tera early is key. Getting pummeled by priority sucks too, but I haven't found that to be as big of a problem once I added Houndstone.
Tried it out for a few matches and I think there are some things that could be changed to make it better, eg magma storm and earth power on heatran, levitate + boots isnt great for pult, regidrago with both draco and denergy is questionable and bronzongs evs seem way too offensive.

Also, gira-o looks generally better than bronzong, it doesnt need a berry to live houndstones attacks, its got great utility, and rocks can easily be ran on heatran instead. The type stacking of 3 ghosts doesnt matter when psychic is weak to dark/ghost as well, but ig having an ice resist is nice. Its also a dragon type on a dmaw team so thats good.
