Simple Question, Simple Answer Thread Advance

2 questions:

1. Playing Emerald, up to Team Aqua Hideout. Here is my in-game party right now:
Blaziken - lvl 47
Kadabra - lvl 45
Pikachu - lvl 27
Oddish - lvl 25
Wailord - lvl 26 - HM slave/filler
Swablu - lvl 16 - filler, flyer
Underleveled? And how's the team so far for this point of the game? Any recommendations for a final Elite Four team?

2. Do the IVs/nature of Lati@s get determined when your mom ask you which dragon you've ssen or is it set at the beginning of the game?
 
When your mom asks you which color dragon you see, it determines whether or not you will get Latios(If you choose blue) or Latias(If you choose red).
 
Ok, thanks. Also, for the cloning glitch, is there a specific time to reset or can you just reset anytime after the time lapse?
 
You can reset anytime. Hell, you can even go and beat all the gym leaders again, turn the game off and if you didn't save after the time lapse, you will still get the pokemon cloned. But you will of course, lose all your progress since your last "normal" save.

My question: Does synchronize works with Legendary pokemon in emerald?
 
Is an Alakazam with Hidden Power Dark any good? I just bred one(trying to get good IVs) and one with pretty good IVs(I think) just got hatched with HP Dark. I am testing it right now to see what it's exact EVs are. Sp.A though is 30-31. I am also going to breed it with my Ditto to get 31 Speed IV and Modest Nature(it's already Modest). Should I keep my current set (Psychic, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Substitute) or use this (Psychic, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, HP Dark). I am aware that I have a Ghost and enemy Psychic problem in my team, and thought his would help.
 
Ok, I found the IVs(most of them) with the IV Calculator. I didn't get a lot of Rare Candies yet, still didn't beat the Elite 4 in this game. Here's the stats: Abra - #63 (Modest) HP: 29 Att: 11, 13, 15 Def: 27 SpA: 31 SpD: 21, 23 Speed: 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 I am using Modest since I am going to BP Speed and Petaya Boost from my Ninjask to it for my next team. Here's my team: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31268 I am currently making a new team for Baton Passing. It's kind of lol right now though. Still I am going to use that Zam over my current Zam who is pretty low Speed compared to this(0 lol). Also it has HP Ghost which is complete crap on Zam. HP Dark Power: 68 69 64 49 It only has a chance at 49 Power if it has 21 Sp.D which is the only chance at it. I checked with the other IV Calc to figure out it's HP Power(the one from Arty2). If it's Power 68-69, I am definitely using it. If not, I am breeding for Max Speed / Max Sp.Att and high Defenses and good HP.
 
Dusclops Move Set

Sorry for the Double Post, but I have a question: Will this Dusclops move set work? Dusclops @ Leftovers Pressure Calm Nature (Sp.D / Att) or Bold Nature (Def / Att) ~Protect ~Substitute ~Night Shade / Toxic / Will-o-Wisp ~Rest Purpose of this set: To stall out the PP with Subs and Protects and use Rest to take out the Status and regain HP. This would work very well against those Earthquakes and such that would normally be a huge threat. Could probably Toxic something and stall it out too. Just put up a Sub, then use the third slot move and start using Protect / Sub again and Rest up the HP. This would annoy the crap out of those opponents who run out of Quakes before they realize what happened. This could easily run Blissey's Seismic Tosses out. Also good for a few others. The reason I ask if this would be good in battles is because I was facing one of these and it kept using Protect and my Pokes got tired of it fast. Even when I hit it, it took a few hits to KO it too.
 
If I leave Route 117 after saving before getting an egg from the Daycare man but I leave the area and comeback, will the nature and gender of the egg change?
 
Dalevi: I need someone to confirm this for me but I think this is how it works: When the egg is made, the old man comes out. When the old man comes out, the Nature and IVs are set for that Pokemon. Getting out of the place and coming back to get it doesn't change the Pokemon's stats. -----Again, I need confirmation------- ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; jobes: Soft-Resetting is just faster. You don't need to see the GameBoy Advance sign on the GBAs and you don't need to look at the Health Warning, Select GameBoy Advance Game, see the GameBoy sign at the beginning of a reset. It doesn't really change anything when you choose one over the other.
 
Nothing is set in RSFrLg when the guy comes out, but in Emerald, when he comes out the nature, gender and ability are all set (egg moves as well obviously), so if the pokemon has all those traits, then you can keep soft resetting for better IVs.
 
Dumb question probably, but I can't remember if Sleep Talk + Hyper Beam (without the recharge) worked in GSC or ADV. Erm, does it work in Advanced? Thanks.
 
Ok, I won a round in the Battle Frontier...and got 1 point. So do I have to play 47 more rounds to get 47 points or what? I heard something about winning streak...

It increases by every so many ranks.If you've got three silver symbols or something you can gamble in the house on the far right of the frontier.
 
What EV spread would you give this Squirtle?
Squirtle - #7 (Calm) (Male) (Marked Circle)
HP: 29 - 30
Att: 14 - 15
Def: 29
SpA: 31
SpD: 28 - 29
Speed: 14 - 21

Moves:
Surf
Mirror Coat
Counter


Which game is easier to EV train in, Emerald or LG?
I could just clone squirtle then migrate them and train one on Diamond but if I do it on Emerald I can supply my own pokemon.

just max out the hp and spdef. unlike nb, giving pokes special evs dont matter considering how most ingames pokes have random ivs anyway.
roar would also go nicely on that moveset, but rest is pretty decent for those long term battles.
 
Where are all the Kecleon Locations in Emerald, I know I've killed a few, but I hope that one remains for easier checking of Hidden Powers.

However say I have killed all the Kecleons what's the best pokemon order to fight to learn Hidden powers
