So I'll just do a giveaway too. :) Had to clean up my Pokébank, and this is what I found.
Before we start, I will make some rules:

I think I've clocked in about 109 hours in Y alone. All of my other games over the years added in, though...I wouldn't even be able to tell you.
The largest- and only, really- breeding project I've taken on was trying to get a Modest Anticipation Eevee with HP Fire. Twenty-five eggs exactly before I got my little Shiruba. Still have some spitbacks that had to be boxed because they lacked HP Fire that I would trade for a Gale Wings Fletchling spitback.

These pokes are actually pretty crappy if I do say so myself XD, but they are meant for people not fortunate enough to own HGSS, or for someone looking to start a breeding project from scratch. They will not have good ivs or nature (most likely), because they are for the reasons I stated above (also have like no good IV spitbacks to give and i dont feel like breeding because i got like 1 1/2 hours of sleep last night XD). Just passed 600 hours in Y, currently on day 3 of Zygarde soft resetting.
Longest breeding project was simple, I just wanted a 5 IV Drillbur with Moldbreaker (how that takes over 200 eggs I will never know).
All my HP breeding have barely passed 50 eggs, its freaking me out.
Quickest breeding ever this gen was 6 eggs for 5 IV Fletchling with Gale Wings, starting with a 2 IV Female and a 2 IV Ditto.
I'm at about 826 hrs on my Y :3 and the sad thing is, I've barely even touched it in the last 2 weeks XD
As for the second question, I'd say the largest breeding project from scratch (at least egg move wise) was around 70 eggs for a dive ball omanyte. I started out with a 4 IV female (thanks awiec :3) and a 5 IV greninja. It took me 34 eggs just to get a female omanyte (thank god greninja had three of its egg moves XD). Then, I bred knock off on to it, then bred it with perfect ivs :D. Funny thing is, is that the original omanyte actually had a SPATT stat of 30. So I'm really surprised when in the first batch, I hatch a perfect hp grass omanyte XD

I'm on about 110 hours within a month of game ownership. I'm also a programmer so that's really impressive! Hardest breeding project is 0spd iv honedge which I still have yet to make flawless! 70 eggs and counting.

No :( i was poor in college so I had torrented them and used an acekard (bday present) for my dS (which I got for free in a raffle). I don't think it was able to use the wifi capabilities.
Edit: yeah I only like to use shinies competitively if I bred them myself. Weird rule, I guess.
Pokemon Y: 570 hours played (mostly battle maison and breeding)
Most frustrating project: Huge Power Bunnelby, took me about 10 hours or even more...
