It's been some time since I had a trade thread here and I was wondering if there was any point in listing Gen 4/5 RNGs anymore? As I look around it seems people want Kalos-born for the most part, and I don't want to waste my time if my old mons no longer have value. How about events? I assume they still command a fair price...

People will still want events (old and new) some collectors still like 3rd Gen RNG's, XD/Colo stuff and 4th Gen legendaries in Apricorn balls. Ribbon projects are also nice, but very few care about them :( Other than those, there isn't much interest since tutors are available in ORAS.
HA Amaura isn't available yet. If you need the standard ability (and far superior) I can give you one of those.
Sadly I don't need it, but thanks for offering.
I am still in need of an Amaura with decent IV, if anyone can help?

A lot of legends can be KB now (exceptions being: Mew, Manaphy, Meloetta, and Genesect), and a lot of past gen tutors are available in ORAS now, so a thread with just RNGs is not the best of the ideas
Thanks guys, that's kind of what I figured. I kept it to old events and Apricorn Legends for that reason, guess I should start breeding again.
If you need one, mostthe3rd has free 6 IV German Dittos and .com has HP Dittos for free. Not sure if the latter trades anymore, though I have (almost) all of his HP Dittos and they can be distributed so once I get a chance I could give you copies of them
No, I use "make" and "breed" interchangeably. I usually do double kinds of Pokémon I like i.e. Tropius. You can check out LeopardTalon's thread where I requested one of his Dream Ball HA Tropius ☺

What if at level 50 the IV's are still not 100% accurate and still in the 30-31 range instead of solid 31
Breed Pokémon in Apricorn Balls that no one else has and you will find someone to trade with, if you have access to HGSS and can catch your own.

Yeah, I've been doing that to build up stock. I mostly like to have a thread to collect event pokemon, but wasn't sure what to post from my old collection. Thanks for the tip.
How about using the level 50 method first and come to conclusions after the fact? You're kind of making a tried and true method of checking unnecessarily complicated. If for some reason level 50 is still not enough, combined with checking the HP (Hidden Power) of the Pokemon and having zero EV's and/or knowing the exact number of EV's that the Pokemon has (and inputting them into the calculator) your only other option would be KeySav2/KeyBv/QR code method + YABD, etc.
On another note, Defog got a huge buff this Gen so RNGs like Lati@s, Zapdos, Empoleon, etc. with Defog are in demand. Also, don't forget about genderless Pokemon in Apricorn balls since genderless Pokemon cannot breed their ball down.
For checking IVs, I have a lot of Rare Candies from the online GTS website (that sends the red NPC in-game) and I just save before spamming them on a Pokémon. I check the IVs at 50, 60, 70, etc. (if it isn't determined by 50) and then Right+Left+SEL to restart. That way, I keep the rare candies and I know the IVs without having to use KeySav2, etc.
My Pokémon are all UT, though, so if yours have gotten EVs you'll have to use a reset bag to go about this. It's a bit tedious, but if it's just a couple Pokémon, it's accurate since Rare Candies don't bestow EVs.
unless im mistaken thats easy to see because at lvl 51 it should be certain if its rounded up its 31 if not its 30 so at lvl 51 you should be abe to see it 100% of the time if the iv is either 30 or 31
For certain Pokemon it shows as 30-31 until upwards to level ~80 without knowing the Hidden Power and/or without EV's to round it out, but for all intents and purposes you should be able to find out in the 50s.

Because I've seen a bunch of Heatran in Repeat and Timer Balls here and on other boards and wanted mine to be unique. I also own a Timer Ball one already but it's for my personal use only and this one is for my thread.
Green contrasts red pretty well actually.
So I guess that thing doesn't need a useful Hidden Power like Ice or Grass. Kept.
