Hey guys I am looking for a female dream ball burmy, a female nest ball burmy, a female level ball burmy and a HA Repeat Ball Burmy can anyone help me with this ?

EDIT: I am also looking for a Dream Ball female shellos.

Hi guys, I just joined the forums and wanted to get into sort of semi-competitive battling. I just EV trained my first pokemon, Dragonite, and was wondering if anybody could help me where to start?

I have a nest ball female burmy but on Y Keyrun. Interested?

You can also just transfer any (i.e. not necessarily shiny) Pokémon with the OT of the game to Gen. 6, and have someone check it there. Which would be a request for this thread :). But the other two answers give the appropriate course of action if transferring to Gen. 6 isn't an option.

Thanks! That sounds a lot easier than first capturing a shiny or buying an a cheat device. To follow up with that, I have 6 games that need SID checking and so 6 pokés to transfer up and trade over. Would anybody be willing to trade these with me and discover my SID for me?

I could do that for you, if you can have them transferred and ready to trade to me in the next hour or so.

Ball for Shedinja? I was thinking Nest (it has to be available in gen III)

Anyone able to tocuh trade any of the following legends to me? I have the rest of them so if you also need mons to finish your dex I can oblige.
Will need to hang onto Reshiram for a little longer than the rest so I can get Kyurem-W in my dex:

Jk, I'm so happy with that SR. It's the best I've had so far. I was taking the bus route from home to school which is about 30 minutes and decided to SR for the Mew I had in that file. Just by the end I was like ahhh no good spreads, too bad.. then I saw this, holy, I double checked the IVs to make sure I wasn't seeing wrong numbers :D so happy. God knows how long I had been SRing that Mew for.

Thanks alot! With your help I was able to easily obtain a shiny Ho-oh as a test in my Soulsilver (competitively useless but shiny nonetheless). I haven't tested all of these ID/SIDs to see if they can produce both shiny and competitively viable spreads, but I'm guessing there aren't many. Is it possible to RNG abuse for a specific SID when you first start in a gen IV game?

http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/dpphgss_rng_part4 Though the guide might be a bit outdated, yes. There is a way to RNG abuse for specific TID's and SID's in gen 4.

Hey I bred a Relaxed Tangrowth with HP Ice.
I wanted a Sassy one with HP Ice but I somehow was braindead while breeding.

So my question is what's the best set (Move Set + EV Spread + Item) for a Relaxed Tangrowth with HP Ice?

which IV spread is it ?

EDIT:

Tangrowth @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 30 Spe
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off
- Earthquake

i guess this set would be the best not 100% sure tho

If it's 31/31/31/31/31/31, then it's not HP Ice. The Assault Vest set is better with Quiet (or perhaps sassy, if you really are going for as much Sp.Defense as possible), but you can probably make a Relaxed on work, with status moves like Sleep Powder, just replace the Assault Vest with Lefties. I suggest you just take the smogdex set for Relaxed Tangrowth and replace Sludge Bomb with Hidden Power (assuming it really is HP Ice).

Like this:
Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power (Ice)/Sludge Bomb
- Knock Off
- Sleep Powder
