Have an April Fool's Day joke planned and realized I kinda need help on the last project.

What moveset + item would be recommended for a physical Jolly Gengar?
At the moment I have:

- Sucker Punch
- Poison Jab
- Ice Punch
- Shadow Claw

If anyone has any better suggestions for the moveset, along with which item I should use, that'd be fantastic! Thanks in advance.

You could sub one move out for destiny bond, but I think that set is good. I'd go life orb or choice band if you're feeling ballsy, but being locked into sucker punch is never a good thing. What's the rest of your team if I may ask? I've got a few teams with sets like that (not quite as far out but same concept) that I just use, not for April fools, lol.

Just planning on doing a mass giveaway for it, I don't battle, which is why I have no idea what set to give it lol. It also has the eggmoves Ice/Fire/Thunder Punch + Disable if that helps.

If you could get counter on it I think would be hilarious, because of gengar's lack of bulk, but I think you'd have to bring one up from gen 3 to get it, so it might not be a viable option

Not necessarily. Pokemon in gen 6 still have the benefits of OR/AS tutor moves they can bring into Sun and Moon, and any imperfect stats can be compensated with via Hyper Training. But if you want to play in VGC '17 and such... yes, you have to use stuff from gen 7.

Does anybody have suggestions for EVs and moves on a mixed technician alolan persian? I know full special and/or fur coat set are more common, but I got a shiny naive one with technician so I'd like to make something up.

I was thinking Life Orb with Fake Out, HP Dark (since that's what it has and that's stronger than dark pulse w technician), Play Rough, and T-Bolt.

I have no idea what EVs to run besides max speed... what would be an efficient way to invest the rest of them? I'm not great with spreads that aren't simple.

(sorry for all the weird questions lately; I've been shiny chaining and I like making up sets for them, even if I won't be using them much.)

Since it's a mix, I'd recommend 124 Atk and 124 SpA, then the rest in HP
