According to the X and Y analysis, Giga Impact happens on the same turn as Truant. "Using Giga Impact might seem like a good idea, as the recharge turn and Truant turn match up, but Slaking cannot switch out while recharging, making it easily revenge killed or set up on. " Unless something has changed since then, Slaking's truant happens at the same time as Giga Impact.

Slaking is crap anyway because Truant is still the worst ability in the whole series (At least Slow Start means you can do something every turn) and I don't think we need to make this conversation last any longer than it is.
Perhaps I am mistaken, but the inability to switch is still incredibly harmful

What does bumping a post mean? Is it when you tag someone to revive an old thread? On an unrelated note, how do you tag people in a thread? Just type their names? Use @ or...
Not the right place to ask this, but it just means saying anything in an outdated thread which would bring it back to the top. To tag someone, type @theirname and their name should appear as an option to click on

Does anyone have replays of teams with Curse Mega Scizor? I'm hearing that this is a thing, but have yet to actually see it. Does it just set up on things like Zygarde? What's the use of Curse over Swords Dance?

Here's a replay where both teams have it from the Smogon WCOP: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen7ou-385768.

Apart from that, it can be used to setup on most physical attackers. By boosting its defense, it walls out other attackers, meaning that it can get more boosts off to proceed to sweep.

While I also haven't seen it more than a couple of times, it's interestingly currently ranked as the best Mega Scizor set at the Sets Viability Rankings thread.

Is Landorus-T still the best mon? It seems like the entire meta revolves around Heatran, whether that is in the form of Mega Latios, Mega Zam, Gliscor, Gastrodon, Stomping Tantrum AV Amoongus owing huge chunks of their viability to Heatran being so good. I feel like all I see for Lando any more is the Bulky Scarf set (which I don't think you really need to specifically prepare for) or a suicide lead, am I missing something or has the king of OU been usurped?

Heatran is the most threating and many consider him better than Lando at this point. However, Lando is still the most splashable, thus most used mon.

Why did peliper replace politoad as a rain setter?
Because it has reliable recovery in Roost. It also has access to U-turn which lets it pivot into other rain sweepers. Its typing is also very beneficial for Rain teams as it can help with Grass-types, which are arguably the best form of counter play against Rain teams.

I'd suggest a nature change on clafable if You wanna avoid the 2 hit ko cause You'll end up with more evs You can put into defense cause it's special defense is naturally higher

If I give mew a flame orb will it make his abitily work if I switched him in or every time I heal bell it off?

Say I know mega meticham will fake out and I switch to mew and burn him just by switching in. It also has the plus of not missing and freeing up a move slot

Will this work?
