1. Not really, it's an alternative move for big neutral damage, so it isn't really designed to attack certain Pokemon but rather as a general nuke.
2. Meh, non-Mega Latios isn't really worth using in general in my opinion.

what makes mega latios so much better than its base form? I already know about the better attack stat + earthquake.
Earthquake is the biggest reason, though the small increase of bulk and not taking extra damage from Knock Off are nice things to have too.
I will ask here not to pollute the VR topic. Mega Aggron received some nominations to climb to B-. Did he even get into the last vote among the mods?

Bulky offense with pivots like AV Mag, RotomW, and/or Uturn TornT should be ideal. It can work on balance, too. There are a couple SPL replays of it being used, so feel free to check those for examples if you’d like.

I guess it’s because it rose for the very first slate after Zygarde was banned. Granted it wasn’t really a “slate” since the council did it themselves, though I think Tapu Koko is in a solid spot now.

No real comment on what SCGG said, but Tangrowth is very viable on stall teams and has been seen a decent amount on them historically during SM.

I'm interested in using sub-drum kommo-o, but I hate using hyper offense. I've heard of kommo-o being used on more bulky offense and balanced builds, but I'm not sure where to start with building with kommo for those archetypes. Does anyone know any good partner's or general structure for kommo in these types of teams?
does anyone bother using Specs Pelliper as a breaker or is that role just better filled by Ash and Manaphy? I feel like rain on a non- rain build could work with Torn and Ferro?
It used to be used more, but now Rain is far more consistent using other breakers and Pelipper as a defensive pivot and long-term Rain supporter.
whats this 3 attacks SR M.Chomp set people have been talking about? and also what nature would M.Chomp rather run out of naive v hasty ?
The set is Draco Meteor, Earthquake, Fire Blast, Stealth Rock. Usually invested in Special Attack (for Celesteela, Tangrowth, and Tapu Bulu mostly) and Speed and a Hasty nature is preferred imo because Heatran.

It leaves you with a nice and powerful Earthquake still too, OHKOing Lele and max HP Gear after Rocks. I think Hasty is definitely better to keep it as sturdy again Heatran as possible.
