it was surprisingly long to find lol, I did not see it in all the rmts archives...but I knew the creator and a quick search lead me to find it. I think the team is a bit outdated but it has some fire ideas like magic room lele.
Hello some feedback for the SM Moderation Team. I think the SM subforum is a bit of a clusterfuck. Pinned threads take way too much space and make important ressources harder to find.

My suggestion is to reduce the number of pinned threads from 13 to around 5 by merging them together. Viability Rankings and Metagame discussion can be merged into a single thread like how ADV does it. The same should be done for Role Compendium and Speed Tiers. I would also like to see this done with Sample Teams and Team Bazar. People use both of these to post their teams and don´t seem to know which one to use.
SM Forum Information, Rules, Council Info and Announcements should be merged with the Community Discord Thread and could also include the Lower Tier Hub/Ressources. (Unless Lower Tier SMers want more representation ofc).
My suggestion for Replay bank is to merge it into a new thread "SM OU Tournament Ressources" that includes the Tournament Calendar (only linked in RoA atm) and have links to SM Circuit Standings. An updated SM Hall of Fame would also be a nice addition here.
Simple Questions can honestly be unpinned, this is used once a year - same with SM OU Analyses. Pinning signups for tournaments or SPL Discussion during SPL is fine ofc.
This would reduce the number of pinned threads significantly and leave something like:
– SM Forum Ressources (Information, Rules, Announcements, Discord, Lower Tiers Hub)
– SM OU Tournament thread (Tounament Calendar, Circuit Standings, Replay Bank, Hall of Fame)
– SM OU Viability Ranking & Metagame Discussion
– SM OU Role Compendium & Speed Tiers
– SM OU Sample Teams & Team Bazaar
– (Tournament Signups/SPL Discussion/SM OU Analysis - only pinned when active/needed)
– (Lower Tiers Hub if these guys are adamant about it)
Would leave us with 5+1 threads. I believe this is the best way to do it ngl. This would take an hour, maybe 2 but improve the SM subforum by a lot. Drachenkeule Skypenguin Maktyum

This is already in our projects and we are working on it. It is just that we were pretty busy as of late irl and fell behind our schedule.
We already decided to merge info, rules, council and announcement with the discord one as you discussed with Drachenkeule already.
Lower tiers will get their own separate section to capitalize on their respective forums and updated threads (I just have little time rn, which will change in the near future, like really near future) since the "lower tier hub" is outdated.
Good cores will be removed as it is useless since tour archive, team bazaar, discussion and viability rankings already give you most of the knowledge a players would need to know. I like the idea of merging speed tiers and role compendium.
Personnaly, I think merging viability rankings and metagame discussion is a good idea only if we get activity on it...and sm forums are pretty inactive compared to older gens that retain more builders and players that dare to post overall. It also implies starting a new thread, and in doing so, losing all the activity representative of the tier's evolution. So this is still in discussion but I am open to it.
As for sample teams and bazaar, I am opposed to merging both of them. In Bazaar you can post good teams but also huge trolls and for new players it can be hard for them to recognize the difference between staple and "fun". Sample team thread will be restarted and locked so no one can post troll teams and fun ones in it. While bazaar will be kept as is and will be the main portal for players to post their teams. (And I am also sure that even with locking sample teams, people will manage to post their teams in discussion and not in bazaar anyway lol).
Thank you for your suggestions, it is great to see some constructive feedbacks to improve and simplify navigation in the sm forums. Know that we are doing everything we can BTS to make it happen.
