I confirm I am tilt town, I'm going to recruit my friend DBD, no one would suspect the public vanilla.
 
I've noticed that suspicions have been raised due to my behavior. This is my first NOC Mafia. I understand that my duty is to be active no matter which side I'm on. I'm learning as I go along :blobthumbsup:. I wasn't being very active because since it's day 1, I didn't think it was possible to draw many conclusions.

I typically don't think there's much to gain in scumreading D1, just not that much info to go off of.

However, I'm a bit suspicious of those immediately thinking I'm town, I will not be getting bussed today no siree :pimp:
 
I have some questions since I haven’t played in six months-ish

Does DBD play like Jalmont (obsessed with determining maf based on format and posting absolutely wild suggestions)?

dbd gives off poorly playing town (no offense this is literally me every game)

anyways more observations:

M2H has been wildly quiet for what I remember of them but I think they said they have work?

Emerald has been playing to what I remember them as town, similar to HyHy in a way (pops up very breifly to give thoughts) I think they are v productive and would like to see them more!
 
Welp I wasn’t done but I have to drive home, but I’ll give the rest of my thoughts later

Two quick thoughts I think that Dusk is towny (not trying to be village leader) and Clouds I’m not sure yet cause in scum he really tries to cling onto scum mates from what I remember of that one game I heavily scumread him.

Only 5 votes out right now is kinda not good. I know some of you are D1 pacifists, but votes on D1 are usually a good thing. Even if it fails, scumreading and voting people progresses the game beyond random, faster.

Since DBD is the vanity wagon I find most palatable right now, I will

I do feel bad about voting dbd under these circumstances. However, this vote is guaranteed to end without any claims and last minute pseudo mass claim as deadline panic rolls up. So this is a strategic vote.

If DBD is town, we know we dont lose any power. If he is mafia, that actually tells us quite a bit about mafia choices pregame. So this is a strategic wagon for town regardless.

That said, I do actually scumread Dead by Daylight here. I have to wonder if town DBD would come off this way.

yeah i don't know, like

certain posts like the "let's just policy neon" one feel almost too lazy & like it'd be too careless to come from mafia. i'm trying not to give this type of thing much merit because this sort of read has gotten me in trouble before, it's just a gut feeling that's hard to put aside

i agree with pidgeon that if push comes to shove and there's no better vote, losing a confirmed pure vanilla is low risk. i just don't outright scumread dbd at this point and his posts feel more misguided than malicious
 
Ok back at the hotel, I have my flight tomorrow so going to go inactive again but a few things

the “policy neon” post was misguided for sure

Although I do feel kinda bad about this, I genuinely believe lynching dbd is the play here, because all three outcomes don't hurt us much
if dbd flips scum, we can be pretty sure mafia recruited and know their lineup to some extent
If dbd flips town and nobody got a bpv, then mafia is 3 person
If dbd flips town and someone got a bpv, we know the mafia lineup
