also honestly, best overall user is gonna be bloo imo just because of all the stuff that he's been doing.
 
I'm pretty sure Misty and Cathy were faster, other than people who started off at Smogon as admins, like Articuno64. Misty and Cathy went from Mod to Admin in about a week iirc.
 
Best Contributor should either go to Aesoft or Antar. They've done so much shit for us imo

Cathy went from Mod to SuperMod after about one month (or two) of actually being on Smogon. Then Cathy went to Admin one week or so after becoming a SuperMod. If my memory is correct.

If we had a most controversial user he'd be a top nomination for it. And yes the guy brought a derpfish into RU from the bottom (THE BOTTOM) of NU.

Best Warstory: Vexatious and his warstory The king of vexing but I can not find it anywhere on site...which is a shame as that was by far THE best warstory I have ever read.(If anyone has it anywhere POST IT NOW!!) however I did find his second best one here http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83724

honestly while i think aeo is great, im pretty sure antar should win best contribution this year. yes by next year aeo will win this but for this antar has helped SO much with server in trying to get scripts working, keeping the server going (which is probably the most important thing on smogon), and just spending so much time on trying to remove skarmpiss. also he gives us our important usage stats,
 
best contribution, as has been said many times before, has to be a specific contribution -- not a member

But it wouldn't shock me if this were truth, I am indeed quite a lucky bastard in this game. I didn't get that check for being good at Pokemon.
