No, idt they explained why it was locked but I'd assume it was because the thread had ran its course and just wasn't as funny anymore like other firebot threads

just to clarify, because i don't think i've ever actually posted about it: i originally made that thread just to share lance's dumb rant and the leetspeak shit because i thought it was funny. originally it was a qdb post, but i realised that it needed quite a bit of context to understand and it ended up getting a bit long so i decided to make a big thing out of it and turn it into its own thread. the thread started off fairly well i think but it ended up turning into a bit of a shitfest and people started getting really mad and dogpiling, so it got locked.

The fact that this is what divine suicide turned into while autism tiites didn’t is exactly why one’s a good thread and the other isn’t. The only funny post in divine suicide was the OP.

I was positively surprised when it came to my attention that I got nominated in the category for "best Orange Island poster" and I'd like to welcome the opportunity to express nothing but my most genuine gratitude. Despite the fact that I mostly exchange Pokémon in the Wi-Fi section, it's also always a genuine pleasure for me to exchange opinions and to spark off interesting discussions in the Orange Island section as well.

Pokémon is a franchise that constantly evolves, just like the Japanese trouser pouch monstrosities that it revolves around, which consequently means that we won't run out of material worth discussing anytime soon. I can't wait to interact with all of you again this year.

That being said, I wanted to wish all of the other nominees good luck!

meh true although me being nominated for this is the same as someone without a tutor badge being nominated for best tutor. It should probably only be recognized smogon programmers but I’m not going to complain too much, I’m happy to be nominated, I just definitely shouldn’t win this lol.
