All the nominations have been tallied up, so let's move to the second and final round of this year's Smog awards!

Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to write for you :) Pride and Pokemon (as well as the other articles you all nominated for the award!) was a major passion project of mine and I feel so incredibly lucky that it's been received as well as it has been. I don't want to go into too much detail here, but I'm hoping to make this a recurring series (or at least a two-parter) so really, everyone who read it, told their friends on the site about it, and especially the lovely contributors who joined me for the article, thank you so much <3 Being nominated for this award two years in a row is such an honor, but nothing is as big of a reward as knowing this community continues to head in the right direction. We are here!

Cool ticket, I think pretty deserved all around, though I'm sad to not see a couple people here ofc.

Thanks for nomming me for nicest user (even though I think I've had a mean streak this year) and best CAP poster, the jury is currently out on me being a cat. Also thanks for nominating some drawings I did. I appreciate it all around :D
 
Last thing I'd expect was for me to get nominated for anything letalone best veteran alongside god tier old gen OU players and former forum staff who've been around since 2006.

Maybe I'm seen as a veteran due to having been in OM for over a decade (virtually its real beginning), AG since the dawn of its time, and a part of PS! Staff for over half a decade?! I'm a little curious but it makes sense at this point.

Alfajor and I are very thankful to be given the chance!
Although I am a bit confused! I am nominated in best avatar, but from Smogon. I do love my Snom, but maybe it generated some confusion amongst the nominators as Avatar is used twice and intended to nominate in Custom Avatar?
Maybe change Users->Best Avatar into Users-> Best profile image in future awards? This can help to distinguish both.
However... Not mad at a nomination!!! I feel famous hehe
