Smogoff CAP - Next Phase TBC (current progress in post #506)

If you really wanted to get that CAP feel, you could do a "stat limits" stage where, instead of sweepiness and tankiness and all that, people just submit minimums and maximums for the stats directly (don't even have to put limits on every stat if you want). Whoever is running it decides the limits. Then, you just have people submit stat spreads directly.
Alternatively, Gekokeso's suggestion is way simpler and probably faster.

oh also if anyone has any suggestions as to how the stats stage should work (since it looks like the majority of folk want to do it) please hmu. the thing real cap do looks complicated as shit & i'm not doing that.

Maybe we just submit a joke stat spread that is obviously very minmaxed without the math (10/200/10/10/10/200 for example)

Good physical attack and defense, still checked by special attackers. Still good because it's only weak to Fighting (which is mostly physical)
