It's doubtless been mentioned before, but I think having Smogon capabilities on an iPhone or iPod touch would be an excellent idea!
The app could contain a general Pokedex with move lists, base stats, TM capabilities, etc. But another tab could contain the strategy/movesets, etc (sort of like the Pokedex for Smogon is now)
Some pros to doing this would be to promote the site in a great way (and technically marketing on iTunes!). Also, I don't see anything wrong with charging $0.99-1.99 for the application, which could help with server costs and stuff like that.
The only problem I can think is that it might be hard to create the actual application and not just make it a bookmark (as in, have to connect to the internet to access information). It might cost money as well.
What does everyone think about this? Could a mobile version of Smogon be viable as well?
