But what is Amishmon? In 1802 Jedidiah Yoder discovered that if you stuff a squirrel into a small box, shake it up, and throw it, that it becomes fairly excitable. Soon thereafter, he and his childhood companion Phinneas McLongbeard began combating the boredom of Amish Sunday afternoons by shaking up two squirrels in two boxes, tossing them into a pit, and then taking bets on which one would live.
Thus the game of Amishmon was born.

To get the ball rolling I'll start off with an analysis of one of the most powerful Amishmon to come out of this gen; Grizzlymon.
Grizzlymon
"Tippy"

Nature: Ferocious
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Attacks: Roar, Thrash, Crunch, Crush Claw
Item: Bee Hive
First of all, let's consider the aesthetics. After all, at it's core Amishmon is about the bonds and relationships that each Amishmon trainer builds with his Amishmon. I personally like the non shiny sprite more than the shiny.

As for the EVs, Grizzlymon is just one of those straightforward Amishmons. Do as much damage as you can as fast as you can. Outspeed what you can, and hope to survive what you can't. Same goes with the Nature and Ability. Seriously, who on earth would use it's other Ability "ride bicycle"?

Concerning the use of Grizzlymon in the current Amishmon 2011 Metagame; a lot of Amishmon Trainers get upset when I use "uuubers" like Grizzlymon. But hey, 1) it's VGC legal, and 2) Grizzlymon. Wins. Games. Period.
He's pretty easy to use when it comes to battling too. The general strategy is to start by shaking his Amishball just enough to get him riled up, but not too much so that he becomes confused. Grizzlymon tends to confuse easily. Then, let him out and run off and don't make too much noise. That way your opponent and/or the opposing Amishmon stays the center of Grizzlymon's attention. Then you pretty much just let Grizzlymon do what Grizzlymon does best. Make sure to keep heavy sedatives handy in case you need to recall him for whatever reason.
