The playoffs draw nearer. That means it's time for you guys to know how top 16 will be determined (especially those of you hovering around 10 wins).

Currently, anyone with 11 wins or over statistically can't not make the playoffs. They are in regardless of the results of their remaining matches (just saying though, still might want to get those done ;) )

If playoffs were to start right now, these users would be in competition for spots 11-16:

  2. Taylor (10-7)
  3. DracoMalfoy (10-7)
  4. Heist (10-7)
  5. Nachos (10-7)
  6. Stone Cold (10-8)
  7. Franky (10-8)
  8. ToF (10-8)
  9. Ciele (10-8)
  10. LizardMan (10-8)
  11. McMeghan (10-8)
  12. Steven Snype (9-9)
The process for determining those six slots will be a best of one match (sudden death) where one user has home field advantage (meaning that they pick the metagame for the sudden death match). If two users have the same number of wins, the one that completed more matches or the one that won a pool will be given home field advantage. If neither user has that distinction over the other player, each can eliminate one of the three metagames.

What does this mean? Get your matches done. There is no reason not to. At this point a loss is better than not playing the match. Same might even apply for those of you that have already clinched :naughty:.

In addition, anyone that can get to 10 wins is in the hunt. No pool has a decided winner besides Stone Cold's, so the pool win bonus still applies to everyone!

Activity wins will be closely monitored this round since they can affect a lot of players. Stay active!
 
AS UNDISPUTED MENTIONED IF YOU ARE LOOKING INTO GETTING A HIGHER SEED OR POTENTIALLY MAKING PLAYOFFS IT IS TO YOUR BEST INTEREST TO GET THE MATCHES BELOW DONE.

The following matches must be completed. It would still be nice if the ones not mentioned get completed for statistical purposes. Also, if you still have a chance at winning your pool, I suggest getting them done to have a chance at the Top 16.

and with that, round 3 draws to a close. enz0 and i are sorting out activity decisions that matter and we will have a short playoff qualifier round up shortly. thanks everybody!
