Well, i just don't know. I can't see Nintendo accepting a dex entry about our pokemon mutilating one of there's.

On the subject of the Pre-Evo sprite: I vaguuely remember Cyzir posting his first 2 un-finished sprites for the final evo. his first model worked perfectly as a Pre-evo IMO. I went looking through the polls i was in [Poll 8,9 and 10] but i couldn't find his post. Can someone help me in finidng them? in case we can't the sprite was basically an Ant-like Centaur. It had the four legs, which it was walking on. It had a smaller horn no buck teeth, and smaller arms. I think this would work perfectly as the Pre-Evo, especially if we use the "hunting" dex entries for it. i just can't see a Kakuna-like pre-evo going out to hunt.

I finished the second pose. I decided to do it as a "resting" or "hibernating" position. The main difference is the wings and arms are lowered. I also did a lot of little things to indicate a calmer pokemon. The eyelids are lowered and the eyes are dimmed. Claws and fangs are retracted. The shoulder plates are recessed. The body is straight, as opposed to leaning forward. Here's both sprites for comparison:

cyzirsprite7gn4.png

In the animation, I made the resting pokemon shake a bit, before springing into action and flying in a spiral. To me, this makes sense for a bug pokemon. If you've ever disturbed an ant pile or a bees nest, then you get the general motivation for the animation. I'm thinking this pokemon doesn't like coming out its pokeball, and when it does... it's angry!

Hope you like it. Enjoy!

That resting pose is pretty damn win.

It doesn't loop. D:

Oh wait yeah it does.

Nice sprite, but it kinda pauses as it goes to the second pose. Make it spiral sooner.

I actually like that sprite and animation quite a bit. The only problem I have with it is that it's way too slow IMO, and it doesn't seem as pissed off if it's that slow. :(

However, the frames are quite cool, so perhaps a higher speed would be cooler if possible, otherwise, quite awesome. :]

Heh, my goodness I'd be scared as fuck if I saw that thing using Bug Buzz!

Now that I see it online longer, I agree. I'll fix it to get to the action sooner. I'll also smooth the loop transition and remove some garbage pixels I just noticed.

Final Evo's Entries:
-Mine:
1st: Due to living in such rocky areas, these POKEMON have acquired an extremely hard iceshell.
2nd: These POKEMON has developed extra eyes to accurately scout for prey, even in the harshest blizzard.

Rendition of ~Trogdor~:
1st: [Final name]s are said to live in the coldest and highest places. When it gets too hot, an ice cacoon is formed to trap the cold inside
2nd: Un-suspecting Delibirds and Snorunts are hunted and taken back to the castle to be later eaten by this POKEMON and its colony.

I didn't think i needed to use Sunday's since we both agreed on mine.

Rendition of Jibaku:
1st one:
1st: While thriving in freezing mountains, this POKEMON builds its own ice castles. Once the weather conditions become too harsh, this POKEMON creats a durable ice shield that protects it from incoming damage.
2nd: This POKEMON has been living in such blinding conditions that it has grown an extra set of eyes that help it catch its prey.

2nd one:
1st: This POKEMON lives in such large colonies that if an invader enters the castle, it is swiftly finished off.
2nd: since this POKEMON controls the ice castle, its highly developed eys are used to snipe intruders. then the [insert Pre-Evos name] go and fetch what is to become dinner.

Pre-evo's Entries:

1st: This POKEMON searches for food in groups and will not return to the colony until food has been found.
2nd: While searching for food in packs, and adult [Insert final Evo name here] accompanies this POKEMON incase of any danger.

So, I compiled the best ones IMO. I had to edit the longer ones, but they fit along the ideas of the longer ones. Credit will go to the starter of the Dex entries. Will we need to poll this?

I voted Vishicle, seeing as I thought of it. Syclant is obviously the run-away winner and rightly so. It rolls off the tongue pretty well.

I still like Trogdor's the best, if just because it mentions eating Snorunts and Delibirds.

And Doug's sprite is awesome, but I prefer KoA's.

Wait are you telling me the whole purpose of all these polls is to create a pokemon to send to Nintendo as oppose to having it programmed into shoddy/competitor.
If this is the case then you have all wasted a huge amount of time Nintendo will not accept ideas no matter how much support it has, when will people understand this.

I made this up:

It's not that good but w/e, I plan on making another and hopefully it will come out better.

EDIT: Anyone is free to use this on any site.

latinoheat, stop being so negative. We plan on doing both, obviously.

And for your info, both Luvdisc and Draco Meteor were Japanese fan suggestions. They just don't care about American ideas.

Im pretty sure it would go to Nintendo AND it might be accepted into Shoddy/Competitor. I think if we trim the rough edges, make it look presentable and send it along with a very good descripiton and reasoning for pretty much everything, Nintendo would accept it. We might want two names also, one being the english the other being the Japenese. The only English ones i think they would accept would be Hexafrost or Exofrost.

Japan team doesn't decide the American names. That's up to the dubbers.

Seriously who the hell would rename Gaburaisu Garchomp? Someone who had no idea how to pronounce it, not someone who came up with it.

Here are some Japanese words:

Icicle: tsurara, hyouchuu (soo-RAH-ra, he-yo-OO-choo-oo)
Ant: ari (AH-ree)
Larva: youchuu, shichuu (yo-OO-choo-oo, SHI-choo-oo)
Ice: aisu, koori, hi (EYE-soo, ko-O-ree, hee)

One of these would be nice with Namkungia.

The idea was to create a "package" of different pokemon we created and send it to Nintendo, with all of our work, the discussions, etc.

We also hope to get this programmed onto Shoddy to actually test it out.

And, personally, I think that if Nintendo even considered using our ideas, they'd butcher them and then claim all the credit for themselves, but who knows. :\

Of course they were, lol. Who else would jave the sick sence of humour to make *shudder* Luvdisk into a Pokemon... ewww...

Though there was actually a competition run for Draco Meteor. It wasn't just some random writing in.

So basically, we should blame the Japanese fandom for making a shitty pokemon and an awesome move? Kinda half-half there.

MiyamotoMusashi~ The last part, you have a very good point there. Would suck soo fucking hard if they did that to us.
