Agreeing with this. I know I sounded hostile at times, but that's because I cared :P
 
i hope we mostly agree on no more 24/7 brawl chat, no offense to brawlin colin fitzpatrick and amazing mr game an' pharos

still, great news, hopefully we get our own ladder and stabler connection is a godsend. expect to see me there pretty much always.
 
While it remains to be seen if this will work out, it's certainly a populistic move, well done. Smogon is changing a slight bit ;).

All of the things you could do that never seems to happen on the official server...epic :D

I'm hoping for a ladder for each tier :D
 
Heh, I hope you guys implement ladder on this. A smogon endorsed leaderboard would be more than enough to start seriously laddering again
 
i wonder if this would lead to two equal servers - the official server and the smogon server or would one get phased out. would the offical ladder rankings become a bit of a joke? hope not.
 
This does sound great, a Smogon server ladder would be amazing.

I doubt it, I think a lot of players from other sites would still use the Official server, as there's quite a bit of Smogon hate on sites such a Serebii. Also players currently at the top of the ladder might still play on the Official server to maintain their rankings, as it's always a nice bragging point.
 
I really think this is a great idea. If possible, seeing your head-to-head records against any battler would be a really cool feature imo.
 
Would it be possible to have more than the standard two (OU and Ubers) find tabs? I can see UU and Little Cup being played much more if they had their own ladder and leaderboard.

For a UU ladder to be implemented we'd need to have a more fully developed of what UU actually is, so I wouldn't get your hopes up at this stage.
 
Well surely the best way to develop UU is to have a ladder, then we will have usage stats to help determine what is broken.
 
Nice and UU having a ladder. As well as, some other things like unbanning event moves and testing some Pokemon would be neat.
 
This is excellent. I will agree with gorm, hearing them talk about brawl all the time made it a little bad, as I really wanted to talk about Pokemon issues and wobbuffet.
 
I'm curious, will this allow for the tours to start up again? With them running on the smogon server, it seems possible.
