Pet Mod Solomods Megathread

Breeding Fusions
The concept of this Pet Mod is very similar to Breeding Variants and Frantic Fusions. Basically, two Pokemon "fuse" traits when breeding together. The traits are as follows:
-The primary Ability (or secondary Ability, if Shiny) of the father becomes the secondary Ability of the child's evolutionary line.
-The primary type (or secondary type if, Shiny) of the father becomes the secondary type of the child's evolutionary line.
-The level-up moves of the father are added to the child's evolutionary line level-up learnset. Note that this means all moves from Gens 1-8 that are level-up moves.
-The stats of the child's evolutionary line use the "Impersonators" Pet Mod calculator, with the child's species x the father's species. Cookie Butter I'm assuming you're okay with this, but if you're not, I can remove this bit.
Abilities: Sand Stream/Lightning Rod (or Solid Rock, if Shiny)
Type(s): Rock/Ground (or just Rock, if Shiny)
Added moves: The only ones worth mentioning from Gen 8 are Smack Down, Hammer Arm, and Megahorn.
Stat Spread: 130 HP/161 Atk/148 Def/56 SpA/56 SpD/49 Spe (~600 BST)
y'know, I'm surprised know one's made a Minecraft Solomod yet.

Name of Mod: CenturiMons
Mascot: Combee
Link to Changes: WIP (sorry, will get them up later)
Summary of the Mod: CenturiMons is a Natdex OU-based mod that takes inspiration from the Langrisser series of games, where instead of controlling individual units, there are "troops" and "leaders". The troops are basically just shards of glass that somehow move and deal damage(to put it nicely), but the leaders can plow through hundreds of troops at a time.

Teambuilding goes something like this: Slot 1 has a fully evolved Pokemon (under most circumstances, this will be covered later) (the "leader"). The rest of the slots are 5 of the same pre-evolution(s) of the Pokemon in slot 1(the "troops"). The Pokemon in slot 1 will receive a 1.5x boost to both of its offensive stats(this can stack with items/abilities). You CANNOT place a Pokemon in slot 1 that would have either one of its offensive stats go over 750 with this boost(including items/abilities). The Pokemon in slots 2-6 will have their HP doubled, but have both of their defensive stats multiplied by 0.75.

If you decide to put a Pokemon that hasn't evolved but cannot evolve in Slot 1, you may put any 5 of the same NFE/LC Pokemon in Slots 2-6. However, they must share at least one type.
You cannot put a Pokemon that hasn't evolved but can in Slot 1.
If you put a Pokemon that has evolved and can evolve in Slot 1, their offensive stats will be multiplied by 1.75 instead.
The Species Clause has been removed (for obvious reasons)
Banlist:
Chansey (troop)
No. Just...no. Even with the defense drops, a Pokemon with a HP stat of 1408 would centralize the metagame so much to a point it's not even funny.
Tapu Koko
With max investment +Choice Band, its Attack stat goes up to 703. This thing with 5 Pikachus holding Light Balls would destroy anything that isn't a Ground type or has Volt Absorb.
Anything with Huge/Pure Power
Self-explanatory.
Watchlist:
Hydreigon
This can get up to 746 Special Attack, but you have to use Choice Specs in order to do so. This may be what keeps it unbanned (since you can't have a Life Orb or something like that), but I doubt it.
Spectrier
640 Special Attack is monstrous(no specs allowed btw), and imagine it with 5 Haunters on the team too.
Questions:
Would a metagame like this be too over-centralized?
Would the validator be too hard to code?
Does this fall more into the OMs category than the Pet Mod Category?
What are some potential threats?

Name of Mod: Ancient Alliance
Mascots: The Regis
I dont really have a link to changes, but i have a paste with all the legal pokemon
https://pokepast.es/0a2b767c2fda49f7

This meta is based of the natdex tier and follows all standard clauses from that tier. Aerodactylite, Diancite, Trick Room, Slush Rush are all banned. This meta is a restricted format where you can only use ancient pokemon such as fossils and regis. The point of this meta is to create new sets and try to beat the pokes in the meta. This makes it interesting to see new sets and HO teams are way more fun now with cranidos, arctozolt, and more HO picks. Stall is also a thing you can use. The regis are very good stall pokemon and diancie and cradily are good too. This is why thhis meta is fun and interesting.

Competitive Overview: Some sets that are good are the resto berry sets for the regis. Due to the lack of knock off in the tier, these sets give the regis decent recovery.

Summary of the Mod: A metagame with a custom pokédex of about 151 pokémon with custom stats, abilities, movepool, mechanics, evolutions and pokédex information in order to create a balanced and fun metagame with some of the OP's personal favourites. Summary of the Mod: A metagame with a custom pokédex of about 151 pokémon with custom stats, abilities, movepool, mechanics, evolutions and pokédex information in order to create a balanced and fun metagame with some of the OP's personal favourites. The metagame will be built gradually, with updates being made to this post to implement the custom changes.
Lots of interesting changes and liberty taken, for sure. The Sky Shaymin forme really did make some use as an in-between of normal Shaymin and Virizion, too. Surprised to see some Mega Evolutions becoming standard evolutions, including for Pokémon that are already second-stage. Find it strange that you didn't include Gengar's Mega Evolution, although that would be probably for the better...

Speaking of second-stage, I wonder what would a third-stage evolution works in your metagame. Something of a "true final stage" for some with reasonably strong(er) BST? I'd imagine the first two stages being very easy to evolve but the final fourth stage would be a little hard to achieve.

Firstly, I'm glad you appreciate the idea behind metagame! Secondly, I made it with the custom aspect in mind first, adding only a few of my favourite mega pokémon. Rather than including only a few mega evolutions, I decided to incorporate them to the pokémon as a natural evolution. I've always thought that the "what if 'x' pokemon had a fourth evolution" was a cool concept, so I just went with it. Of course, this implies that we'd have something like Eviolite Slowbro roaming around so, of course, some stat and ability changes will be made in order to not make the metagame incredibly broken XD!

P.S.: I've not added Mega Lopunny because I really like Lopunny's design by itself, so I would rather just buff her main form. Same with Gengar, he is nice as he is, in my opinion ;).

What do the Cosmic and Sound types do?

What do the Cosmic and Sound types do?
Their main purpose is to try to rebalance the type chart by slightly nerfing Steel- and Fairy- types while buffing underused typings such as Ice. They'll also be used to give viability to pokémon such as Electrode and Simisage! I'll be posting more information soon! :)

Ash ketchum tier

Basically a tier where every pokemon ash ketchum has had even if it was for 1 second.

This tier is hosted in natdex ag because
A)Its the only place where all of them can be used at once and B)It helps replicate a battle experience similar to one ash has.

All mega stones are allowed except gengarite and dmax is banned because that is a really stupid mechanic.
Pikachu is also forced into all teams.
If mons like gliscor and staraptor become problematic they might get tested.

If mons like gliscor and staraptor become problematic they might get tested.
i think the most problematic ones would be either ash-gren, naga or melm.
All mega stones are allowed except gengarite and dmax is banned because that is a really stupid mechanic.
i dont really find this fair. unlike mega evolution, ash has used dynamax before on his pikachu, from what i know

The spreadsheet is not accessible without asking for permission. If that's not what you want, you'd probably want to change it so permission isn't needed for view.

The mod isn't too different from the other things but nonetheless have interesting changes like Guts Raichu and Huge Power Kantonian Farfetch'd.

Hidden Power is back as a 65BP special move. Hidden Power type is based on the item held (nonsensical, I know) i.e. Flame Plate = HP Fire
Both Return and Hidden Power are basically universal TMs (so stuff like Magikarp still can't learn them).
No Dynamax, Z-moves or Megas.

:swsh/vaporeon:
Vaporeon @ Flame Orb
Ability: Cauterize
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Life Dew
- Toxic
- Flip Turn/Roar/Haze

Actually demonic to fight against now. It can still function as a Wish Passer, but it can now work better as a defensive wall. Having reliable recovery in Life Dew and getting 1/8 of its HP back every turn from Cauterize makes Vaporeon a nightmare to take down.

:sm/unown:
Unown @ Pixie Plate/Earth Plate
Ability: Libero
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpAtk / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk, 0 Spe
- Hidden Power
- Confuse Ray
- Trick Room
- Teleport

My favourite change so far. 182 SpAtk seems scary, but then Unown's only attacking move is 65BP and it has to choose what it wants to get walled by. Confuse Ray can be used to hax your opponent and get an opportunity to set up Trick Room so you can sweep (sort of). Unown's now borderline ridiculous and I love it.

:sm/ambipom:
Ambipom @ Choice Band/Life Orb/King's Rock
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Tail Slap
- U-turn
- Beat Up
- Arm Thrust

Laugh at it now, I dare you.

Current concerns:
Darkrai still seems very strong despite the multiple checks to it that exist. It might suffer from 4MSS, but 135 SpAtk and 125 Spe is no joke. I literally added and changed Cresselia to be a better Darkrai check.

[Gen 8 NatDex] Balanced Fusions
Ever wonder what it's like to fuse two Pokémon together? Want a way to do so without creating something completely broken? Introducing Balanced Fusions, a metagame by me where "By naming your Pokémon after another Pokémon it gains their first Ability as an additional ability, their stats are averaged and its secondary type is taken from their primary or secondary type depending on whether it is shiny." This metagame fuses the learnsets of the fusor (the base Pokémon) and the fusee (the nicknamed Pokémon). However, don't think you can just use Mew and inherit whatever moves you want. You can only inherit one move from the fusee. This takes a lot of the cheapness of the game this was inspired by, Frantic Fusions, out of the game. But there's also the rule about combining stats. Normally, in Frantic Fusions, you would average out all the stats. However, this makes the metagame highly unpredictable, and leaves a lot of things completely broken. Since Frantic Fusions doesn't have a huge following, nobody can take the time to figure out what is and is not breaking the metagame. This is why, in this metagame, you can "fuse" one stat by ending your nickname with "/(stat name)" (not in parenthesis). This will make it so that you'll eventually get the feel of what Pokémon are and are not worth fusing with.

Hey guys, here a update on my Solomod.
Note: It's not finished.
  • The name is Calyrex's Cosmos and Creations, with
    as the mascot
  • It focuses on the edits and additions I have made in the whole National Dex Metagame
  • I now have a section for Fakemon, and I will take suggestions to make one
  • I would like to have other people to work on this with me, like a council
  • This will probably be finished in late February through late March or early April
Thanks for reading! If you want to help, just PM me, and the link for the sheet is here. Have a good night!

This is clearly about reducing the power creep gap between the very good Pokémon and the not-as-good ones. I like it from the premise alone.

Also a nice detail to separate New Evolutions from New Pokémon (Fakémon). The former are certainly something that I personally want to make a separate category off from whole new Pokémon lines.

Name of Mod: Palpitoad Mechanics

Link to Changes: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Zdk_kOwDp7O1D4JTkaPV98IqsQwzm8PVeeDLF-1p-Mc/edit?usp=sharing (Incomplete)
Summary of the Mod: Sort of like Sylvemons but more extreme where everything gets usable and adding other things like 3 new types.
Competitive Overview: Everything will be (hopefully) usable and have some use
This seems promising. Although I have one question; why is the Porygon line is revamped into pure Light-type?
