I use the Torn T set a lot. It‘s great if you need to put pressure in Corv and it‘s good for most team types. For Tangrowth, just the fact that it usually OHKOs Corviknight makes it dangerous and ppl don’t see it coming.

Tapu Fini has risen lately as a defensive threat that can sweep entire teams with its powerful mist if they arent prepared for it, while also holding strong defensive utility with its ability and powerful typing, that allows it to check the likes of Urshifu-R, Heatran and Weavile. That being said, what do you think can defeat Poni Island's Guardian?

Thunder Punch Urshifu-R is a great way to lure in Tapu Fini, as Tapu Fini is resistant to all its moves it can use Urshifu-R as setup fodder otherwise, but with Thunder Punch it can pack quite the Punch, it can lure in Tapu Fini pretty well, and subsequently afford a safe 2HKO on it.

Proven in this calc, Urshifu-R has therefore a way to threaten this Pokemon in the OU metagame, but also is able to threaten other Pokemon such as Toxapex and Slowbro. Furthermore it can get rid of Primarina as well. So Thunder Punch Urshifu-R isnt even that useless outside of the Tapu Fini matchup and can achieve that the opposing defensive counterplay is left weakened in the process.
Tapu Fini is a popular switch into Hydreigon, since its STAB moves do not threaten it at all. However, with a certain poison type move, it breaks through it with ease.
This set it straightforward, you Substitute and Nasty Plot up on Tapu Fini as it will Draining Kiss you; and then the Salac Berry will activate. After this, you can Belch that Tapu Fini to hell and back!
With a Modest Nature, it ensures it to do the most damage.

Mew may be a bit of a surprise pick, especially since most of the time it is the Utility set, but if is able to get a Swords Dance off it is able to OHKO Tapu Fini, or 2HKO it without a boost. It’s also useful outside of the Fini scenario, being fast enough to outspeed Pokemon like Urshifu-R and Kyurem and OHKO them with a boost too!

Most people think they can use Tapu Fini and win the 1v1 with Toxapex because it has taunt. However, by running poison jab, they will be surprised to see Tapu Fini lose the 1v1. For the EV spread, you usually want some Spdef on Pex for things like this.
Let’s say you have a Pokemon countered by Fini on the field. Your opponent (of course) switches to Fini. (Misty Terrain 4 turns left.) Then you go Toxapex. They get a free Calm Mind. (Misty Terrain 3 turns left.) First you remove the leftovers so it can only recover from draining kiss. Since Misty terrain is still going, your opponent Calm Minds again. (Misty Terrain 2 turns left.)
It doesn’t matter what your opponent does from here; you’re winning the 1v1. If it scalds the entire time, you win because pex does more damage. If it uses draining kiss, it dies. If it calm minds, it doesn’t do as much damage or recover as much so it dies. Here’s a replay with an example showing how Pex hard counters Fini. Tapu Fini is usually one of the best Weavile switchins as it resists Weavile's Dual STABs. Calm Mind Tapu Fini also doesn't mind Knock-Off due to Draining Kiss, and thus uses Weavile as setup fodder upon switchin. However, using Poison Jab, Weavile can lure in and KO Tapu Fini with ease.
Weavile can SD safely when Tapu Fini switches in, and then can attempt to OHKO it. With Hazard support, it's a guaranteed OHKO.

While Jolly nature can be used to outspeed Tornadus-T and speed tie with other Weavile, Adamant is preferred nature here to have a better chance of OHKOing Fini. Anyway, this set acts more of a wallbreaker than a sweeper due to sacrificing Ice Shard, hence teaming up Weavile with Speed Control options like Zeraora and Dragapult is necessary.
Similarly, Weavile could use a Choice Band set with Poison Jab instead of Low Kick. This set keeps Ice Shard, thus retaining the ability to revenge kill faster threats like Dragapult. However, Poison Jab could be a horrible move to be locked into.

Finally, what makes Weavile a great lure is that it most opponents expect that Weavile has either of Triple Axel, Knock Off or Ice Shard, especially on SD sets. No one sees Poison Jab coming, at least not until they come across this post :)

Normally tapu fini can use dragapult as set up fother as after a CM shadow is a 5hko and and is a 4hko without a CM. With thunder you are able to 2hko even after a CM boost and draining kiss does not out damage thunder which leads it to be a 3hko at worst with draining kiss recovery.
Volcarona would set up a Quiver Dance as Tapu Fini switches in. On the next turn, Volcarona sets up another Quiver dance, and Tapu Fini has to set up Calm Mind or Taunt. By that point Volcarona is able to out-damage Tapu Fini and recover health back with Giga Drain and recover off the damage from Scald. Giga Drain also keeps the coverage for Tyranitar and can hit Hippowdon as well.

CM taunt often switches into clef, as if it's defensive it can't really so much except maybe knock, amd even if it's cm, it doesn't deal enough damage with even a predicted tbolt/thunder, as cm clef is often max health and phys def. And then it just gets taunted so CMing is not possible, so fini can use it as setup fodder.
But
Lo modest clef completely throws passivity out of the window, dealing huge damage to everything, that too, instantly. So all you gotta do is click thunder.

This is a bit of heat set since a lot of the good stuff has been taken already, but whatever. CM Fini can easily switch in on Slowking and set up for free, since Slowking can’t do much to it at all, and Fini can shut down FuturePort with Taunt. The idea of Trick is to take advantage of this on the switch and cripple Fini by locking it into a single move, preventing it from setting up. This can also work against other setup sweepers or defensive mons that like switching into Slowking, such as SD Rilla and Weavile, or Ferro and Blissey. The main limitations of this set are that you have to click Trick pretty early, as Slowking hates being encumbered by Scarf itself, and an increased reliance on Regenerator for recovery since you lose Slack Off, but in practice Slowking rarely uses Slack Off anyway, so you don’t lose too much. Pretty standard Trick shenanigans otherwise, not a lot to explain about this set.
