[Standard] Shift Mafia cycle 7

iimk Is dead. I think that goes without saying, as the mob rushed him so fast that even he wanted to die after witnessing such a horrible scene. And it looks like this mysterious person was telling the truth and, despite a significant minority on Stevensnype, iimkultra died.

Dear iiMKUltra.
You are Captain Ahab,

SPLIT YOUR LUNGS WITH BLOOD AND THUNDER
WHEN YOU SEE THE WHITE WHALE
CRACK YOUR BACKS AND OARS ME
IF YOU WISH TO PREVAIL
THIS IVORY LEG IS WHAT COMPELS ME
HARPOONS THRUST IN THE SKY
AIM DIRECTLY FOR HIS CROOKED BROW
AND LOOK HIM STRAIGHT IN THE EYE

Yes, you are Ahab, the notorious person in Moby Dick who has an extreme need to defeat the whale. Unfortunately, it seems you have lost all of your crew in the last attempt to kill the horrible beast, and are in need of some fine people to join you for a new endeavor. The people here would probably do quite nicely, as these are some of the greatest heroes of their time, and almost all of them have an ego big enough to take down Moby Dick by itself. However, you are an outcast, and you have no friends in this conflict, and thus you decide that you must convince everyone to join with you by a few more indirect means...

Since you are in need of a new crew, you may pm Quagsires every cycle with, "Cycle x - Hire <user> to join my crew." You will have them join your crew instead of their faction, and their normal win condition will be changed to winning with you alone. However, people may begin to get suspicious of so many people being recruited from the same beginning group, and thus you may only have one person in each faction under your control at a time. If they should die before yourself, they will only win if you win, however, should you die first, it is not clear what will happen, since you may either die a martyr and attract attention to your cause, or you may be killed by a vengeful person who wants to end your mission. There are, of course, others that will be blind to your cause, no matter what, but you aren't exactly sure who those people are.

Since you are so hated and loathed by everyone you meet, people will go out of their way in order to make sure that your opinion is not only heard, but essentially null and void. Thus, whenever you vote, your vote will be worth negative one, since people will take what you want and make sure it doesn't happen.

Additionally, you are known to be a vengeful man, and you have to sometimes defend yourself against many perceived and real threats to your life. Thus, you may strike any of them down and kill them by sending a pm to Quagsires with, "Cycle x- Have <allied user> Harpoon <user>." You will send one of your new crew members to throw a harpoon through <user>, effectively killing them. You may do this yourself, but you prefer to delegate it to others, and thus will only do so if you have no recruits. You are also aware that your harpoons are in short supply, and you expect to only get a new one once every three cycles, beginning with cycle 1.

Lastly, you ARE a captain, despite your bad reputation, and you are still able to command fear in the hearts of your enemies by simply walking towards them. Thus, you may pm Quagsires every cycle with, "Cycle x- Have a chat with <user>." You will announce to <user> that you wish to speak with them and, either out of wanting to bargain with you or wanting to try and benefit from meeting you, will perform their action first, before everyone else, to make sure that they have time for this encounter. However, anyone out with the intention to kill and thieves are more sly than this, and will not be affected by meeting with you, still performing those actions at their normal priority.

You know you're weak, but there's gotta be some sort of way to instill fear in everyone else so that you may be able to perform more every cycle. Thus, the first two times you kill, you will gain new abilities in addition to your previous ones.

<snip>

You are allied with yourself and whomever you recruit. To win, you must eliminate all threats and have your faction survive.

He had gained a Thief and a tracker.

Unfortunately, the loss of such an important role was not taken well by many, including Yeti, who was so grieved over the loss of such a dear friend and complete stranger and enemy that she turned to a life of crime and was eventually meeting her end at the barrel of the long arm of the law:
Dear Yeti.
You are a Trollface,

NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP
NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN
NEVER GONNA RUN AROUND AND HURT YOU

You sir, are a monster. There is no simpler way to state this; there is almost no way that anyone could possibly be so unique in their abilities to troll. You are everywhere and nowhere, Anonymous' eyes and more, always watching everyone within the world and enjoying their failures. It's almost as if you TRY to troll everyone and lead others to trolling. There is no limit to what it seems like you can do. And of course, that means there's no limit to what you will be able to do with some help in this game.

All you do every day is troll FOR GREAT JUSTICE. No, seriously. In fact, you troll so much that no one can touch you with a normal action, instead getting restricted by some meme or message that they saw near for for the entirety of the next cycle. You may either decide what this is beforehand and pm it to Quagsires or let him invent it (I obviously prefer the latter). However, killers are so cold that they will just kill you and leave, and Thieves will still break in and steal your treasure, but they will be restricted still. If they break this post restriction, it is unclear what will happen, but I am a bit trigger happy when it comes to godkills (although not exactly Rising trigger happy), but at a minimum they will have until the end of the cycle to realize their mistake.

In addition, you have an ability to make many rage, just by existing like you normally do. Thus, once per game, you may pm Quagsires with, "Cycle x - Make my team RAGE." You will annoy your teammates so much that they will perform their actions before anyone else, due to them wanting to deal with you so badly. However, you know that a being in the game is keeping the weather so nice that it is impossible to use this some nights, making you RAGE even more. If any prio lowerers target a member of your faction that night, they will perform their action at the normal priority. If any prio raisers target someone outside of your faction, they will perform their action according to your higher priority. If this ever fails, it may be used again until it is successful. If you should die without using this ability, no teammate will inherit it, thereby wasting the ability itself.

<snip>

You are currently allied with the Mafia. You win if you eliminate all threats.

There are two small slips of paper on her in addition to this, one which was never read due to her untimely death:

You have been told the life story of <snip>, and you are so filled with compassion for him after all that he's been through and how he is so unjustly hated that you are allied with him instead of the Mafia.

The unread:

After the death of Ahab, you feel more sympathies for him, as others do in this game. Thus, your win condition now reads, "You are currently allied with <snip>. You win if <snip> wins OR if Ahab wins.

GeneralSpoon, a true knight who had seen many battles and many fall in them, was saddened by this warfare as though he could not take it anymore, and took a convenient sword and thrust it through his abdomen, hari kari style.
Dear General Spoon.
You are the Black Knight,

...And that's about all anyone knew about you until they realized who you really were. But no matter what name you go by, you are one of the finest swordsmen in all of the world, possibly in all of history, and your status as a general is unmatched. There seems to be nothing that you cannot do, only being bested by Ike himself. And of course, since Ike has departed for lands and worlds unknown (and probably somehow ending with him replacing Roy in Brawl), leaving you the finest swordsman in the world. Perhaps your friends in this conflict will try to match you for once, if they can?

You are quite adept at kidnapping and protecting people, as evident by your past, and are very willing to do so, despite what they may do while being kidnapped. Thus, you may pm Quagsires every cycle with, "Cycle x - Force <user> to the market." <user> will be kidnapped by you and forced to go to the shop with 100 gold to buy an item you are in need of from the FE2 shopkeeper, although they will almost certainly not come back the next cycle due to their rebellious nature and want of freedom. They will buy something at the shop that is NOT the Propaganda, and will keep that item for later use. They will not be able to be kidnapped consecutive cycles, due to them being too far away from you to be targeted.

In addition, your prestige as the greatest swordsman in the known world is more than enough to establish yourself as a reliable protector of your teammates and their items. Thus, you may send a pm to Quagsires every cycle with, "Cycle x - Protect <user> from harm." You will guard <user> and allow them immunity to actions with your life, which will never be lost very easily. You are aware that there are some circumstances that allow this to not protect <user> from all targets however, but this will work in almost all circumstances. In addition, kills will not be protected by this, as killers are something that you sometimes cannot defeat, and they are often much more skilled in assassination than what you can prevent.

You have found this extremely foreign device on the ground, something that you have never seen the likes of before entering this game. You are currently holding the remote control. There is one big button on the remote that you haven’t pushed yet, partially because it looks almost deadly. Maybe you should, maybe you shouldn’t push it. You’ll spend at least cycle zero deciding what to do with it.

You are currently allied with the Mafia. You win if you eliminate all threats.

Oh, and smashlloyd20 is kidnapped. Everyone else BUT Ginganinja is back from kidnaps.

Every year, we put on a disguise
To save ourselves, from her searching eyes
But Night Mare Moon wants just one thing
To gobble up ponies in one quick swing
Hungrily, she soars the sky
If she sees nopony, she passes by
So if she comes and all is clear
Equestria is safe another year
Fill up her belly with a treat or two
So she won't return to come eat you

So there are now 2 dead people with the same ability I claimed first, a weakened kidnap that gives the victim an item. I need all Town claims, sooner rather than later. Seriously, get them in, then vote me for faction leader and lets get this show on the road!

Hey guys I'm subbed in for Mithril.

If you talked to him, talk to me etc.

If Quagsires could confirm this that'd be spectacular :D
panda

I don't think you quite understand this.
Confirming this means making a post.
Making a post means work.
I do not like work.
Therefore, I will not confirm this.

(Empoof has subbed in for Mithril).

Ummm...I hope this is ok...

WORSHIP IMPERFECTLUCK

Actually no...ummm...

lynch ifm

sorry...Sometimes, we all just need to be shown a little kindness...even if that means having to lynch you to show you...

After a long and gruelingly short debate, a concensus formed around idiotfrommars, since he apparently resembled Ahab in some remote and obscure way that still doesn't really make sense. Especially the human part, as it turns out that idiotfrommars looks nothing like Ahab, talks nothing like him, and is about five feet shorter.

ear idiotfrommars..
You are Reepicheep,

You are a mouse who fights better than most men do in their entire lifetime. How can that not be awesome? Why bother aiming for some one's next to chop their head off when you can cut off their feet? It's not like anyone can fight back against you, either due to your perceived cuteness (which definitely does not exist and is insulting), or because they are baffled at not only why a mouse is fighting, or how either combatant can be harmed. Either way, your friends certainly are glad to have some immortal soul like you around.

Although many believe that you are too cute and adorable to do anything, you hate it with a burning passion whenever someone calls you cute, and can get quite mad about it. Therefore, whenever someone calls you cute after you pm Quagsires with, “Cycle x - Strike up a conversation with <user>.", you will get so angry that you will kill them and then mutilate their body, as no one ever calls you cute unless you are a Son of Atom. However, people who call you cute seem to also like the number two, and thus this power will only work every third cycle. If you choose not to use a kill during a three cycle period, you will be able to use the one kill at any future date. Note that this ability will be passed on to a teammate should you die, but any outstanding and unused kills will also be wasted should you die.

Also, since you are, in fact, a rat, you are able to get into places that people never thought another being could fit through, and are able to make off with any possessions the own. Thus, by sending a pm to Quagsires every cycle with, "Cycle x - carry off with the possessions of <user>.", you will be able to rob them of any items that they might own, taking them and acting like they were always possessed by yourself It'll almost be like their items grew legs and walked off to yourself! Of course, come the end of the cycle, the person will notice the disappearance, but by then you'll have taken their items and will not be discovered.

<snip>

You are currently allied with the Mafia. You win if you eliminate all threats.

Ace_Emerald was watching all of this on his laptop, a bit saddened to see such a new person go, but not very disappointed at his mafia roots. He was, however, disappointed that his new computer blew up in his face, even though he was safe in a castle far far away...
Dear <user>.
You are Doctor Smith

No one cares about you. Seriously. You are such a horrible man. I mean really, you are a coward who stowed away on the Earth's first ship to Alpha Centauri and made sure that they were wrecked in the process. And after all of that, you refuse to do anything to help anyone survive, preferring to spend your time loafing around and nearly dying than actually doing work. I'm not even that lazy! And when you come here wanting to work with people, how do you expect them not to betray you?

Unfortunately, whenever you go into space, it seems you must have someone stowaway on your rocket to make sure you return home, something that you have never been successful in doing. However, you have found that if you pm Quagsires with, "Cycle x - watch <user> stowaway on your rocket." you can control who stowaways on the rocket. You also know that who they represent will give them a small ability, and that they are considered to be kidnapped in a non-NOC manner while this happens. They will, however, be publicly announced as kidnapped.

Additionally, you have a habit of coming back whenever no one wants you, which seems to be always. Thus, you may nightly pm Quagsires with the following,Cycle x - Stowaway on <user>'s rocket. If <user> kills you that night, you will be found at the end of the next cycle to be perfectly fine, hiding away from the kill while some sort of double takes the hit for you. Everyone'll likely be mad at you being back, since you have many that want you dead, but in the end they'll realize they just have to live with you some more, however hard that may be.

You currently hold some laptop from which you had taken orders from in the past. You really don't see much use for it in this conflict besides possibly entertaining yourself and being an excuse to get out of work. It has also begun to make an extremely unnerving ticking noise that reminds you of some explosives you've dealt with in the past. Maybe it's time to part with this before it becomes deadly...

You are currently allied with the Town. You win if you eliminate all threats.

Undisputed also seemed to be having quite a headache at being unhappy due to all of these Town deaths. However, he seemed even more unhappy about the harpoon in his head...

Dear Undisputed.
You are Alfred Pennyworth,

Loyal and British. That's all that is known really about you, and all that's really required for yourself. 'Course there's some bloke who's gonna try and do a tad more, but what could he possibly change? It's not like he can improve upon any old thing without changing the character, or even removing some parts like your backstory to reduce you from an old and wizened adventurer to that of an ordinary servant of the Wayne family. . It's not like you're ever separated from Batman (besides here), so it's not bloody likely for anything to ever happen to you, despite your continuous training to prepare yourself in case of otherwise.

You seem like a silent employee, but you are in actuality a cold-blooded killer who wants to kill and influence Batman to follow in your footsteps. Thus, you may pm Quagsires every cycle with, "Cycle x - have <user> be murdered by the mob." You will have the mob murder <user>, killing him, and having batman take care of the mob once you're done. However, you know that you cannot do this extremely often, since people will catch on to the fact that the mob is hitting certain people, and you will thus only be able to do this once every three cycle period. However, should you not have the mob hit <user> during those three cycles, you will be able to do so at any other cycle in the future for that one hit. You lastly realize that you are no the only one on your faction with connections to the mob, and that someone will inherit this ability should you die.

In addition, you are often asking questions, not only to Mr. Wayne in order for him to potentially realize shortcomings in his batman gambits, but also to ask questions about everything other than 42. Thus, you may pm Quagsires every cycle with, "Cycle x - Ask the bloody stars if <question>." The question to ask must be a yes/no question related to this game that will be answered correctly. However, it may not contain more than one Smogon username, and it may not quote any text verbatim. In addition, the right of the host to rule not to answer a question can come into play, but it will likely not occur, and will only be use if the answer to a question finds an extremely overlooked yet fundamental flaw to the game.

Lastly, you are a petty thief who is able to slip rupees and rubies into your pocket under the understanding that you serve the glorious Wayne family, and that there is no way that you would ever steal anything. Thus, you may pm Quagsires every cycle with, Cycle x - Help <user> watch what he owns." You will take any items that <user> owns and steal them for yourself. You are aware that this will go through many, but not all, protection roles from other actions. In addition, should it be found that you are holding too many items, you may be automatically relieved of all of them in the same manner as Bruce's parents, something to keep in mind when you are stealing.

<snip>

You are currently allied with the Village. You win if you eliminate all threats.

He had two other little sheets of paper next to him, the same as Yeti's, although it seems he had read one of them already...

After the death of Ahab, you feel more sympathies for him, as others do in this game. Thus, your win condition now reads, "You are currently allied with <snip>. You win if <snip> wins OR if Ahab wins.

The unread:

You have been told the life story of <snip>, and you are so filled with compassion for him after all that he's been through and how he is so unjustly hated that you are allied with him instead of the Mafia.

Kingofkongs, as a successful businessman, was quite discouraged by the deaths of some of his dearest friends. This, and his recently being cut off from the world due to age and a loss of IRC and internet access, made him commit suicide.

Dear Kingofkongs.
You are Sid Meier,

You developed Civilization. That's all people really know and care about you, and is has led you to become one of the most notorious and skilled game designers of your time, with no one else even coming close to the level of success your series has spawned. You have been celebrated as an equal to Miyamoto, and are certainly as successful as him in making nerds hopelessly addicted to the games you created. Of course, your friends will certainly appreciate this as well as they go throughout this game with you.

Being a computer programmer and a somewhat inquisitive person in general, you are used to asking questions about things and acting upon the answers that you are given. Thus, you may pm Quagsires every cycle with, "Cycle x - As <user> to yourself." You will ponder a question that can be answered in yes or no and that does not quote any PMs verbatim. You may ask about dead users, but in some circumstances you will not get a response. If you ponder something a bit higher than yourself, you may not get an answer, since there are some questions that cannot be asked. You may not use more than one Smogon username in your question.

But honestly, especially with that crap above, all we care about is Civilization, something that you will make throughout this entire game. Every cycle you will create a new game of Civilization, an item with unique properties. Each different one will be marked by increasing by by one, beginning with the first one being on Cycle 0. Each game will allow you to send a pm to Quagsires with, "Cycle x - play a game of Civilization (x) with <user>." You will introduce Civilization to <user>, and they will play all cycle instead of doing their actions. However, they will keep the game of Civilization and be able to play it with someone else, allowing them to spread the fun of your game. Should you die, all future games of Civilization will never be produced, and the ones currently existing will slowly fade into oblivion.

<snip>

You are currently allied with the Mafia. You win if you eliminate all threats.
