Will I only be able to battle each Ultra Beast once per game? If so, does that mean I should stock up on Synchronizers? Also, do they come with good IV's?
There's 1 Nihilego, 2 Buzzwole (Sun)/4 Pheromosa (Moon), 2 Xurkitree, 4 Kartana (Sun)/2 Celesteela (Moon), 1 Guzzlord. As far as personal experience goes, they come with 3 IVs guaranteed (like legendaries), and the others are random. I didn't use a Synchronizer until Celesteela, but even then it took 5 tries to get the desired nature and more for good IVs (I think I might have gotten the desired nature 3 times out of 12 tries?) So I guess it does help, but soft reset is your friend.

I'm positive you can encounter more than one Kartana and Celesteela.

Is there a resource for breeding/EV training yet? Something similar to the Quickstart guide to ORAS breeding/training. If not, where's a good place to train each stat aside from Isle Evelup (which has the bonus of not running the risk of getting unwanted EVs because I don't...think we have 100% reliable places like we did with horde training)?

Is there any ingame tier list for SM yet? If there isn't, how long do you think it'll take to develop one?

When breeding within the same species to pass down the father's ball do they have to be in the same evolutionary stage as well

Do abilities that alter wild Pokemon chances when in front of the party (e.g. Cute Charm, Compound Eyes) affect SOS calls as well?

Do they still have an effect if said Pokemon is switched out from battle?

I farmed salandits with a cute charm sylveon, and they in fact called lots of females.

However, it might run the same problem that with syncronize, that the pokemon's ability that is in the field takes effect, but calls for data of the first pokemon of the party (IE, if your original lead was adamant, and you switch to a modest syncronizer, it will activate, but generate Adamants instead of Modests) so if your cute charmer is female but the original lead was male, is still posible to cute charm to call for females.

As long as you don't accidentally break the chain like me, of course. I'm so not used to this thing >.<
how do you break the chain? iirc the chain continues even if you swap pokemon

e: as in, killing the one near-death, then let the other one continue calls

By trying to chain with a Kartana, then remembering Beast Boost and switching it out (so that the next Ditto does not get to transform to +6) and accidentally having Ditto transform to a Ghost-type, which invalidates False Swipe, then miscalculating and KOing the Ditto.

That breaking.

At least I learned and once I get back home, I'll do the chain with a Sneasel with False Swipe and three non-damaging moves.

how do you KO then with false swipe and 3 non damaging moves?

Aaaaand I have to learn again *facepalms*

A shame Silvally cannot learn False Swipe, otherwise Silvally-Ghost with Multi-Attack/False Swipe/Two damaging moves that cannot hurt Ghost-types would have been an incredible Ditto farmer.

are the ultra beast natures/IVs set the first time you encounter them? as in, if you KO them, will they have a different nature the next time you encounter them?
