Super Smash Bros 4 (Spoilers ITT)

Have they said anything about custom stages? I had tons and tons of fun making crazy stuff in Brawl and I'd be pretty sad if they didn't try to expand the idea with SSB4 :/ Also sorry if this was already mentioned in the thread, I've been sort of following it but it went up like 10 pages in two days I wasn't around.

No

Also is megaman's dash attack the megabuster?

To me, this is the worst stage on Brawl. It's too big, the ladders are pointless and get in the way. It takes forever to finish a non-timer battle on this...

not if you know the secret! (the stage is playable on the two platforms at far right or on the top platform)
I wouldn't call that so much a secret as a basic element of the stage, really. I have to agree that it's a terrible stage. It's entirely too big with annoying stage hazards, all sorts of room to run away, and even walk off edges to take advantage of.

Would I call it the worst stage in the game? No. We will have Mario Bros after all...

No

Also is megaman's dash attack the megabuster?

I don't believe so, but he can shoot it while walking. From the moves I've seen, I think top spin is the dash while down tilt is the slide.

Hanenbow is THE worst, ever, it doesn't even need to be discussed. I despise Mario bros, mushroom kingdom, and donkey Kong about equally though. At last brawl had some truly awesome stages, too, frigate orpheon, spear pillar, the Halberd, smashville, or shadow Moses island. Though all I really want is fourside instead of onnet...

I really enjoy fighting on big blue because it is a horrible competitive stage, but it screws over everyone equally, unlike unbalanced stages where you can just abuse people that don't know how to avoid hazards. my more casual friends don't like stages where I can flawless people all the time, and neither do I really, at least we're on even ground at big blue.

Anyone else wondering about the Pokeball Pokemon? I always had the most fun with my friends when the only item allowed was a Pokeball. I hope they add a new version (can't think of a better word) other than stunning people, random explosions, things that shoot you upwards and Snorlax
But of course there will always be Electrode and Bellossom pooping up everywhere so my dreams will never be fulfilled

Because everyone's talking about worst stages I'm changing it to best stages in brawl
Imo Pictochat > All

spear pillar and final destination hnnnng <3
i mostly like stages based on what they look like more than their mechanics - though, obviously, those are important, too.

i really like other ones like jungle japes [not for the water though ew], the bridge of eldin, pokemon stadium [both] and lylat cruise, but spear pillar and final destination are my personal favourites.

edit how could i forget about pictochat ;n;
such a fun stage. love it. ssf2 has a 3ds stage which is similar, but... doesn't quite compare. and the tetris block hazard is a little annoying, haha.

I love the Pictochat stage. Also, Super Smash Flash 2 has been released?!?

what do you mean? it's on version 0.9 now, and aside from missing classic and story modes, it appears to be completely ready.
it's here if you'd like to give it a shot? looks and feels like a real smash game imo. i actually prefer it to brawl because i feel that the controls are tighter and more responsive.

One of my favorite things about melee were the pokeballs. Every Pokemon was so powerful, they were such good items. my least favorite thing about brawl is how many useless Pokemon there are (gardevoir, bonsly, munchlax, abd the event ones), while even "good" Pokemon are easy to dodge (torchic, piplup). The legendary/good ones (latis, lugia, entei) are so rare. What happened to blastoise, scizor, weezing, UNKNOWN? I hope they make the Pokemon much better this time.

Well, of course, but the opponent isn't going to stand there while you pick it up and start walking at a snail's pace with almost no range upon throwing it.

Seriously though after 5 years I still have zero idea what gardevoir does

Does it? I've never seen it reflect items or lasers. Maybe it's some specific range.

I wonder if any melee stages will make it in? Can't go without jungle japes' DK rap, can we?, if anything, what brawl stages do you hope return? I'd hope delfino, spear pillar, frigate orpheon, lylat cruise, skyworld, castle siege, and port town aero dive, to give a good representation from most series.

Agree that the Pokemon sucked in Brawl, Bonsly was fun as hell if you knew what to do with it though. And I'd love to see all the stages that Gato listed return. Except Port Town, wtf were they thinking. Mute City 2014 please?
