DD, just because you're all omega-ly good at spriting doesn't mean you should just insult my custom sprites, the second evo looks better

Faze, DD is right , they do need to be bigger, hes not trying to be a jerk or anything hes just trying to help. They DO need to be bigger no question.

looks to me like i gave some constructive criticism to help you out and you claimed it as an insult.
 
you should remake the sprites, and make sure you use as much of the 80x80 canvas as possible to get in good details.
i am currently sad because i can't make a sprite for the CAP project because 80x80 is too small for me to work with.

Grobu [Bug]
It chops it's food using it sharp claws instead, then picks it up using it's pincers. It's armor is not fully developed yet. As a result, it uses it pincers to intimidate it's foes and avoids fighting.

Every scratch sprite should be in an 80x80 box. It does not look good otherwise.

Aside from that, it's not too shabby. It'll look great with an outline.
 
@ PaulMcCartney: Why did you save as GIF? Always save as PNG.
The shading is gone and the color don't blend well. Read some tutorials on fusing, shading, recoloring, etc. I think your problem is that you just started spriting.
 
paul mccartney, please, just... go into a coma of spriting for 10 years and wake up when your sprites aren't the worst i have ever seen in my life.
how old are you?
anyone old enough to be using these boards has to be better even if it is their first sprite.
