And, yay for lame TV references. 1337, I'm not trying to make them...they just come to mind while I'm naming the sprite. And they involve lame quotes from TV. So there. =P

You can't fit a sprite made with all pokemon into an 800x600 area. Too many parts, too huge.
This is giant and it's made from 18 other sprites, not 493. Imagine the size of one made from 493 sprites.

Well, if half the parts aren't scratched he might have a chance.

Hello, Smogon!

I just registered for your forums. I hope to learn alot here. I have a few things I want to do, but I decided I'd post this first.

I'm looking for a sprite artist. If you enjoy making pokemon sprites from scratch, then please reply. I have several fakemon that I need to have sprited (Front 1, Front 2, male/female, shiny, back, icon, etc...)

If you're interested in making custom sprites, just reply or pm! I'll either post or pm you some sketches of my fakemon, and the rest is up to you! You decide colors and poses!

While beggars can't be choosers, I do have a few specifications:

1. I believe the actual size limit for the games is 81x81. Thus, all sprites made for me should be no larger than 81x81 pixels. If they are larger than this, then I can't use them.

2. I want them to look semi-professional. The better they look, the happier I'll be! ^_^ If you don't have the skills to make them look like nintendo's sprites, that's fine. I'd like for them to be as close as possible, though.

3. All fakemon I post are my original ideas. As such, I would prefer no one steal them (some are pretty bad, so I don't know why you'd want to). I would be more than happy to let you use them, as long you as you give me credit. You don't even have to ask first. Just don't take them as your own.

If I'm posting in the wrong place, just let me know. I'm new, so it'll take a little while for me to get used to things around here.

Thanks for your time, and I hope there's a bored sprite artist out there who's willing to help!

@Emeraldragon- Welcome to Smogon!

If I was a liiiitle better at scratching, I'd readily help you. I have enough time on my hands, but my scratches are novice at best. But we're pretty much all here out of boredom, so one of the better scratch artists would be suited for your job if they choose to give it a shot. This is the right place to ask, by the way. Good luck finding someone.

@Everyone else- Requests. Or suggestions for the inevitable second scratch I'll do this week.
 
Good luck with the fakemon thing, but you're going to need a few artists to finish your request. There's nobody I know on Smogon that can do all of what you're asking and make it look professional. However, some of us might be able to scratch most of what you're asking, but I've no idea how professional it'd look.

Sprite size is 80x80, not 81x81.

Fuzz - Buizel/Haunter sounds good to me.

Your Lu-Gi-Oh has a lame TV show reference too.

EDIT: I need some ideas for a fusion/recolor.

@ Teh 1337ness: Doxygigas is awesome, the one with a Deoxys head is definitely better. Maybe Luxio/Mightyena?

@Emeraldragon: Sorry, but I can't do scratch sprites. Maybe Xandzero will be able to help you.

Also here is a Yellow Pikachu revamp. I think it didn't go too well, the shading looks horrible to me. TAKING FUSION/REVAMP/RECOLOR REQUESTS.

I know the right arm is akward but i'm going to post a fixed version soon and i have a black backround because the save as thingy was giving me issues and i work better with black so i had to restart Also i guess i just helped XandZero with his gallade dex and also fuzzberry with her buizel fetish

@Crazymonkeys-Buizel fetish. My breeding project in Platinum went horribly wrong, and I grew to love the orange otters. It's not an "obsession." It is a fetish.

I'll give it a go, but...Metagross + Buizel is probably going to end up like Jiranoir did. "Trying to cross a chihuahua with a great dane."

EDIT- Yeah, not gonna happen. Buizel is about the size of Metagross' leg. So....I'm going to do a few sprites from my own head for a little.....

No Buizels. ._.

@fuzzberry: I think there might have been Buizel beanies when D&P came out, maybe you can still find one.

Ummm...I have a request for someone willing.

Giratina-o + Dark Lugia (From Pokemon XD) with Dark Lugia's color palette. Preferably with Dark Lugia as the base.

I know there is no Dark Lugia DPP sprite, but you could possibly do a recolor...


For whoever does this, I will give full credit. :)
