Will this realistically have any effect on the meta game? Outside of offense being good.I suspect you’ll be wrong. The excitement will be pooled up to overflowing levels with this one. There are like five hundred thousand different directions it can go from an outsider POV right now, so don’t bother shopping around for different opinions and just wait for Thursday

I mostly agree with you but Wellspring having a currently permanent pensive emoji is like half the reason I love the monBut this does raise an interesting point-when are we actually going to be getting the rest of the gen 9 models? I know Maushold is already in, but what about the rest?
I hope the current hype isn’t an overreact then (I still think we’re cooked Thursday is the day Gliscor suspect ended so it’s bad )« five hundred thousand » - Finchinator
An endgame Kingambit capable of using Tera is one of the greatest atrocities of all time. What do y’all think about suspecting gambit
Wow this diagram actually encompasses my feelings very well. I don't consider most of the bottom right to be 'broken' per say but very actively annoying due to a mix of Tera and general structures (Mola not as much tho), but everything else is spot on. Even if I've had to begrudgingly accept that Gambit exists, it still borders on deeply unpleasant to me.An endgame Kingambit capable of using Tera is one of the greatest atrocities of all time.
It's one of the few Pokémon in the tier that can run a decent variety of items, and beyond its raw power, the 50/50 Sucker Punch + the 50/50 x 4/5 viable Tera-types provides an exercise that requires more guesswork than skill or interaction between opponents.

kingambit has been that mon we all knew was absurd from day 1 but has always been viewed as just barely fine enough to stay. It would have a huge impact on the metagame, but I hardly see that as a bad thing.I wouldn't mind a suspect of Kingambit myself. Leaving aside a potential Tera Blast suspect, Kingambit is probably the only mon aside from Kyurem that could get enough support for a suspect test. Although we would have to deal with a huge change in the meta after its ban given Kingambit's role in the meta. It would literally shake the foundations of the meta much like a Zamazenta (I believe the wolf is 100% fair and balanced) ban would.
Overflowing pools. Shopping.there are too many turns of phrase in this post, my bar-puzzle brain is screaming that this has to be a hint
