The Counter Game

Why would we assume there is Stealth Rock? By your logic, Rhyperior is a horrible Magnezone counter cause Hail is in play, as well as Toxic Spikes are laid down along with regular Spikes, so your switch-in will already take roughly 37% away before Leftovers, and Magnezone can at least Substitute 3 times which will definitely build up the Toxic and Hail damage.

Anyways......

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Calm Mind
Slack Off
Psychic
Surf

gyara@leftovers
{careful}
evs: 252 hp / 252 sdef
-dragon dance
-taunt
-water fall
-return

come in on calm mind or whatver, then dance up or maybe taunt, im sure gyara is able to survive a few psychics with that spread.

With that spread, Gyara needs to dance a few times up to actually hurt slowbro. Not to mention Slowbro has a recovery move. Gyara, however, doesn't and will eventually die to +1 Slowbro (worst case scenario, Gyara switches in on Calm Mind).

@ slowbro then

cacturne@leftovers
220 hp, 252 atk, 36 spdef
adamant
-substitute
-leech seed
-seed bomb
-sucker punch

comes in on anything and sets up subseed, with STAB super-effective seed bomb and/or sucker punch if you try to break the sub

Jolteon@Leftyovers

Hidden power (Ice)
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Shadow Ball

Ability:Volt Absorb

Well SDed Stone Edge (or EQ on a Roost) does ~97% min damage, with a more than likely OHKO, so even if there aren't any rocks down it's a very unsafe switch, since you're forced into a prediction headache between EQ and Roost, and when EQ is a likely 3HKO vs 252 HP Rhyperior, that's not really a safe counter, which is all I meant by not being the greatest counter, but it's still workable. Stealth Rock isn't at all necessary for Gliscor to die to Rhyperior, which is the complete opposite of your example, so I probably shouldn't even have mentioned it

anyway for the Magnezone

Swampert @ Choice Band
-Waterfall
-Hammer Arm
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge

To refresh everyones memory, here are a few of the rules:

1) Don't assume Spikes, 2) Don't assume Stealth Rock, 3) Don't assume Sand Stream (unless the counter or countered Pokemon is Tyranitar / Hippowdon), 4) Explosion and Selfdestruct are not methods of countering, 5) "lol switch" is not a way to avoid being countered.

Danyul's Swampert:

Tangrowth @ Lefties
Bold@ 252/0/200/56/0/0
Energy Ball
Sleep Powder
Morning Sun
Knock Off

Resists Both STAB and hits back with Energy Ball which will OHKO.
