Bangladesh fight but it wasnt good enough. Within the next 10 years I see Bangladesh being able to compete with the best sides in the world, they are competitive just need time to hone their skills and also for teams to take them seriously. You know how demoralising it must be for everyone to treat them like all their opposing teams have to do is to turn up and they will win the match
 
I actually seriously rate quite a few of their players, they're just too inconsistent and, in some cases, are too aggressive (Tamim Iqbal being the prime example here). Their bowling lineup is no joke, I thought they were perfectly capable of "taking 20 Indian wickets". Granted their bowling lineup is quite often let down by one, maybe two bowlers who aren't quite up to standard, but you know.

Also I'm excited Marsh is back in the Aussie outfit for the first ODI, and I'm glad Hopes is sitting on the bench. I'm kinda disappointed to see Kamran Akmal opening rather than Afridi, but oh well. Younis Khan's return will be very invigorating for the Pakistanis too methinks. Hopefully should be a good game.

As far as Australia VS Pakistan Series goes I see 5-0 or maybe 4-1. I really think India's opening pair of Sehwag and Gambhir is the best in World Cricket today.
 
Marsh is looking hot for Australia. I swear Clark tried to run him out twice at least lol!

Huss is still a delight to watch.

I'm excited about the prospect of a Clark/White captaincy/vice captaincy in the coming years and then Marsh taking the reins 4-5 years after that. Exciting times for Aussie one day cricket.
 
Australia clinical as usual. Hondour did you see in the penultimate over the missed run out. Clark, White started laughing saw Ricky didn't find it funny and then suddenly stopped laughing. Hussey and Tamim played awesome today. Junaid, Marsh and Clarke batted responsibly.

Australia were dominant today. I look forward to Sundays match... But I'll prolly be more focussed on Fed vs Murray.
 
Hello everyone. Did any of you see Afridi BITING the ball? I saw the video, and I lol'd a lot. yeah, I know it is ball tampering, but when you look at it, the whole things seems funny.
 
Yeah me to Hondour I watched the entire Fed VS Murray. Who do you support? I'm a die hard Fed Fan! Watch all of his matches all of the time.
Australia were clinical and Hussey once again finished up.
 
Love the way Murray goes about it. But Fed is classical stuff to watch and I could watch him go about it all day. Guy has class. ;x I look forward to seeing Andy Murray carve it up in years to come. Guys just 22 years old!

5-0 whitewash to Aussies. I still stand by my earlier claim we have a superior bowling line-up. If nothing else, it isnt worse than theirs. ;P
 
Hondour the Aussies definitely better than Pakistan in all aspects but I think T20s should be interesting not because Pakistan are the so called Champions but because T20s are unpredictable. Fed is AWESOME. The End.
 
Nah, Asif is too good. By far the best seamer in the world IMO.

With back up from Aamer and Gul and then Kaneria who is the best legspinner in the world, this is a better attack than anyone has in my opinion. The only thing I would criticise it for is the fact that it's only 4 bowlers, and they dont have any part timers to speak of.

Of course by the end of the ODIs it was completely different, but whatever, ODIs dont count.

I'd agree with Hip. But tbh there really isn't much competition (unless you include Mendis or something, which would be silly). Also good to see Hussey back in form, I'd like to see a few hundreds from him vs NZ.

Speaking of Australia vs NZ, Hip, are you going to go to any matches between them when they're here?
 
Perhaps I should rephrase, Kaneria who is the only adequate legspinner in the world.

If there's any games in Hamilton I'll try to. I looked at it earlier in the season and I think we have a test but I could be misremembering.

Pak does have the best bowling attack in the world and Sri Lanka is a close second. The only reason Australia's attack looks better is because Pak Batsman suck.

Anywayz India vs SA should be exciting. I wish there was 1 more test because these 2 test match series are really stupid imo.
 
Yes, Siddle has been injured, now Ryan Harris or Clint Mckay can hopefully come in for the tour of New Zealand after impressing in the One Day series against Pakistan. Hopefully they can perform well and put Siddle in the cricketing wilderness.
