Lol Pak got through...although they have perhaps the shittiest team on paper. They got through merely because South Africa played shocking cricket...anyway go India get through to the semis!!(and then get walloped by England)
 
WOW India you suck ASS. Not being able to contain SL to 143 was acceptable I guess but to lose the fucking match is ridiculous!

How in the world do you score 37 from the last 5 overs with plenty of wickets in hand geez.
 
Well there's this little problem called Malinga, see:P Although 37 in the last five is pretty pathetic. Also, how do you lose with 30 required from 2 overs? Although once they were knocked out they wouldn't have given a fuck about winning or losing...
 
Wow, England are smashing everyone. Since 2005, England have been the strongest team and they'll continue to be. Wow! India is out! That is even better. A team full of hyped fellows. I can't believe that a bowler can actually concede six off the last ball. ENGLAND FOR WC!

Easy to say with hindsight. Ajmal is a specialist bowler and had been taken for fewer runs.. TBH I cant imagine you would not have backed him easily to defend 18 as well..

Considering Ajmal's second last over was taking for 14 runs I wouldn't have. Not saying a spinner can't defend 18 odd runs. But usually spinners bowling the last over is never a good idea. Razzaq with his variations and reverse swing would have been much better.
 
Spinners bowl the last over more than you'd think, and for good reason imo. I'm eagerly anticipating the end of the final so that we can get back to some proper cricket. I'm fucking sick of several months of T20.
 
I agree with Flame.

But moving on, who's got the final? England or Australia? Its totally anyones game imo. I just can't wait for the entertainment.

Wrong. I haven't actually seen many spinners come out on top in a close game when given the final over. Not blaming Ajmal though tbh I think it was more just Hussey's brilliance than Ajmal's fault (although I didn't actually watch the match). I don't think anyone would have thought he could pull it off. Just imagine if Harbajan was given the final over of the T20 WC final in 07,lol...

As for the final England's only chance is to keep Micheal Clarke in for as long as possible. Otherwise they are gonners from what I've seen from Australia this tournament. Everytime you think they are about to lose the game they come back with a bang. So realistically Australia for me. Although I'd be more than happy if England proved me wrong. It's about time they won a ICC trophy.
