Well done England!! We're looking like a really threatening team right now...let's try and carry this forward to Tests and ODIs. Hoping for Flintoff to make some sort of comeback.

or maybe, well done to england for being the best team in the tournament!

Yep. England were definitely the best team in the tournament, they also looked the most balanced with lots of firepower in the batting, solid pace bowlers and a deadly spin attack. But I'm puzzled why James Anderson wasn't given a single game....

I would imagine they didn't want to change a winning side. Had we lost a few games things might have been different. It is almost always the case in these things that the winning team goes unchanged throughout.

Makes sense, but giving him a shot in the last Super Eights match wouldn't have been too bad I guess.

We win! I knew that 2010 was ours when England was unfairly eliminated in 2009. I knew that an ICC trophy was coming soon after the 2004 final against WI. Alex Wharf was the culprit back then. Morgan performed well in the initial stages, then Pietersen took over and finally Kieswetter. England should really be appreciated since a good batsman like Stuart Broad didn't even get a chance to hold the willow.

Stuart Broad isn't really a batsman lol...but yeah he can wield it a bit. Actually the only person in the side who didn't make a significant contribution with the bat was probably Collingwood...but he was inspirational as a captain.

I always knew that Collingwood is not fit for T20. Stuart Broad has delivered heroic innings with the bat so many times. We won the ashes only because of the partnership between Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann. That wasn't his only good innings in the ashes. Then, in a match against India, Ravi Bopara and Stuart Broad put up a huge partnership to make England win from the brink of defeat.

One more thing I'd like to say. The_Chaser is not completely wrong.

Craig Kieswetter, Michael Lumb and Kevin Pietersen are South Africans.

Yeah Broad is pretty decent with the bat. I actually didn't know that Lumb and Kieswetter were from South Africa.

Anyway, I can't believe that South Africa have actually dropped Boucher for the West Indies series. He's been a permanent member of the side for what, eleven years now?

Yeah, but it is really time to get De Villiers to his position and bring in another aggressive batsman like Botsman.

Loots Botsman looked horribly out of sorts in the Carribean though....and Gibbs should keep his place as an opener for now I guess.
