Rofl @ broncos

Fuck all you bandwagoners who tried so hard to convince us the Broncos were the best team in the AFC.

I don't think anyone ever claimed they were the best, but they have the most prolific AFC offense. Their defensive troubles have been too glaring to call them the best, the Titans have always held that position in my mind.

But between the Broncos losing to the Chiefs (lol) and the Redskins kneeling out the clock on the Cowboys, that's two less undefeated teams. Crazy shit!

My picks this week sucked, and a lot of them should have been decently safe picks too.

This week in football has been so odd. I blame USC for starting this.

Well, for once, the Bears hold on to a lead....

And how about Kyle Orton? 3 TD Passes and 18-34.
That's a little bit over 50%, But still, I gotta give him credit.
Next week is the Lions. should be a simple game. I see their record going 5-2 by week 7, If this continues.

Though I am sure the Titans will jump to #1 in all the ratings, I do not think the Cowboys should fall further than #2 - if they get the ball with thirty more seconds or a minute before the half, then they get another touchdown and (everything in the second half remaining the same) would win. It was a great game for both teams.

The worst aspect of the game for me was our trouble establishing a running game...

So glad the Broncos lost.
They should be 2-2
I'm really hoping Aaron Rodgers isn't too fucked up.
Without Harris and Bigby...Life already hurts. =(
And with Ryan Grant rushing so poorly(fumbles almost as much as Rex Grossman)
Really need Rodgers to be okay. =\

So pissed Carson Palmer didn't play.
That was like they're only chance for a win this season.
Cowboys, Jets, Steelers....First chance they get to win is the Texans. =\

LT had his first good run of the season! yeah! lawl

And if we dont get an idiot penalty on a touchdown play (the first run by Portis, I'm not quite sure Randle El got it in on 3rd down), and if Santana Moss catches a fairly difficult but by no means uncatchable ball, we win 34-24 (not to mention that stupid squib kick to start the 3rd). Don't play the if game lol

But yeah, why didn't you run the ball? I mean, its not like we were stuffing Barber every play...We made Jones a non-factor though, though that might have been your playcalling not making the running game a factor

I honestly thought the Dallas pass defense had improved - Santana Moss was consistently open deep, and Campbell was incredibly efficient, despite the fact that they got a pretty decent pass rush all day.

It was bad playcalling. Jones has such an explosive potential that not letting him touch the ball on offense after he brought in a touchdown in every game so far this season was just stupid. Jones should be more disappointed than anyone on that team this week.

So true. I can't believe, with how dominant that o-line is, that they didn't pound out a run game. I mean, Barber with only 8 carries? Jones with NONE? Come on now. Jones is a playmaker, every time he touches the ball he could break a huge one. Peter King only dropped Dallas to #2 in his fine fifteen, so I wouldn't worry about them getting knocked too far down in other rankings either.

yes I was really pissed that the Cowboys didnt run as much as they usually do. When they passed to Owens all three times in one series, I was in shock that they would do that. I guess thats the only look Romo had but Jesus.. they should stick to the running game more.

Yeah, and TO got mugged every play that series with no flags thrown his way.

Way to run the ball a whopping 11 times, Dallas. :/

I was not playing the if game. I was stating a fact that it was a typical 'lose by time' game, which happens fairly commonly. I was not saying a fucking damn bit about we should have won when we lost or something - I was saying I was not CONCERNED if we lost. Please pay attention to a post if you are going to denigrate it :)

Dallas still probably would've won had Hurd held onto that onside kick.

Calling 0-0 tie between Ravens/Steelers.

Well we barely pulled it out in overtime, but what concerns me is that we lost TWO running backs in this game, one for the season (Mendenhall). By the end of the game we were into our 4th string RB, so hopefully Parker and Davis will be back soon. On top of that, we also one of our O-linemen (as if our O-Line wasn't hurting enough). Man I hope the only season ender is Mendenhall, or my team's gonna really be hurting the rest of the season...

That was one of the most brutal games I've ever seen. I'm surprised guys weren't heading home in body bags.

They've won 4 games, all by double digit points, and are just now starting to get some real respect. Schedule aside, I can't see any teams that are actually playing the game better than they are at the moment.

Seriously... not only are they winning, but they're winning SOUNDLY. They have the largest net points with +56 (2nd place is Buffalo with +46 and 3rd is NY Giants with +40... hmm, the only undefeateds). They're the best team in the league right now, I'd pick them to beat either Buffalo or NYG right now if they were to play on neutral ground.
