I was just reading a news update about Zajac..apparently Rotowire thinks he is unstoppable.

Wed, Dec 2Zajac scored once and fired eight shots on net during Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the visiting Canucks.
Recommendation: Zajac played with tenacity on a night that a lot of his teammates looked lost. His eight shots accounted for nearly a third of his team's total shots. He has eight goals and 15 shots in 25 games this season.

Interesting thought, Rayquaza2233. Hate to think it could have been, but with his history of heart problems now he's probably lucky to be playing in the NHL.

Hawks signed Toews, Kane, and Keith to long term deals. Assuming the announced cap hits I've been reading, here is their current cap situation: note that they need at least 1 more goalie, 2 more defenseman, 5 more forwards, and that they actually have several other people under contract for next year (including Sopel's 2.333m among others). This'll be interesting...

Chicago has inked themselves into a hole that's going to be difficult to dig themselves out of. I'm assuming they want to keep Hossa, Kane, Toews, and Keith - otherwise they wouldn't be handing out big fat contracts like they're candy.

If this is going to work, they absolutely must find a way to get rid of Campbell. I don't see how they can possibly stay under the cap and ice 20 players otherwise, but I also don't see any other teams being willing to take on that contract. Sopel or Barker are probably going to have to go as well, and between Sharp, Bolland, Versteeg, and Byfuglien, it's probably a case of "pick two - the other two have to go". Depending on what else they manage, Huet may have to go too.

Either way, they're going to have to get rid of at least 3-4 players on Teifu's list up there. I'm not sure how they're going to make it work, but they won't be able to have a full 20 man roster unless they trade away or even waive a few good players. It's going to be very interesting to see how they manage it.
 
I assume Chicago is planning on moving one of the embarrassing contracts handed out to Campbell (good luck), Bolland (who? and good luck), and Byfuglien (3 million a year for a linebacker?).

Now unfortunately, I don't think any teams are going to bite on Campbell or Bolland (not even Montreal or Edmonton), so I think the Hawks are going to have to chuck their big man and SUPER unfortunately here, Patrick Sharp. I've been really big on Sharp forever and I think he is worth every penny (and more) of his 3.9 mil.

That campbell contract is really killer though lol. 7 million, ouch.
 
how about my andrew brunette pickup... that has been monstrous, not to mention mikko koivu who was one of the best values this draft possibly. He is ranked #1 over the past month and its looking like minny has finally adapted to their new coach at least on the offensive side of the ice, which can only bode well for those 2 moving forward
 
Brodeur finally tied NHL record for shutout after winning like 10 games in a row allowing only 1. I had to hold my breath forever for that one.

Hopefully, he wont take as long to beat the record.

I picked up brunnette in my othre pool. I have koivu and brunnette in one team. Nais.

Sabres shut out the top team in the East, then shut down arguably the best team in the West.

Holler! I'm just glad they played a good game in front of Lalime for once, he deserved it. 38 saves!

I've gotten hit like that, true story. only it was in the shoulder, not the side of the head, and the guy was considerably weaker than Keith Ballard. It just happens by mistake sometimes.
