Honestly, I disagree with most of you on that trade, I think it's fairly reasonable for both sides. Cammalleri is vastly underperforming for Montreal. He's capable of a lot more, as shown by some of his seasons in LA and more relevantly the season in Calgary that netted the contract he has now. Calgary has obviously regretted not being able to retain him, and they're giving Montreal a strong, gritty player that fulfills some organizational needs and is producing on a similar level to Montreal's Camm. If they keep playing how they are, Borque is probably the better player(I imagine he's not super well known outside of fantasy circles but he's a strong real-world asset), and if Cammalleri plays more similarly to how he did in Calgary than how he did in Montreal, Calgary gets the better player because his potential is much higher. I don't think Cammalleri was suddenly going to step it up in Montreal and was pretty openly a bad presence in their locker room and frees cap room, so I like the move for them, and Camm is a piece Calgary can build around and is the best player in the deal so I like the move for them if they can make him work.
Funny seeing Ramo in the trade, though -- I remember the Lightning commentators trying to bill him as the next big thing when he was playing for them as a rookie and Tampa was horrible(I guess they're kinda horrible again), funny how those predictions work out...
I guess at least he isn't Steve Mason.
